Cygnet Care provides high quality community care for older people, disabled people, those who are terminally ill and those living with dementia. A family run home care provider, Cygnet Care strives to extend its family values to those it provides care for.

Staff at Cygnet Care recognise that everyone is an individual and respects their needs and interests while maintaining clients’ dignity and privacy. Services provided are wide-ranging and flexible to support individuals as best as possible. Clients may receive as much or as little support as they wish, ranging from help with shopping and laundry, to assistance with personal care or companionship visits, particularly during the winter months.

Respite and short-term care is available for those who have recently returned from hospital or whose carers are away for a short while. Cygnet Care also offers palliative care, provided by a team of dedicated and sensitive specialists who offer support to both clients and their families in collaboration with hospice and medical staff.

Recognising the importance of nutrition, all Cygnet carers hold food hygiene certificates and are trained in preparing wholesome and tasty meals to tempt even the poorest of appetites.

Cygnet Care aims to enable its clients to remain in their homes for as long as possible and will undertake almost anything to ensure this is possible.

We met with Cygnet Care at the end of November 2024, to arrange daily personal care for my Husband.
We felt very comfortable talking to the owner about what could be provided,
To begin with it was Monday to Friday as weekends were difficult to cover at that time, but within a few weeks we had7 days
a week cover
All the staff who have looked after myhusband have been cheerful, mindful of my husband's difficulties and have provided excellent care. The office staff have always contacted me should there be a problem with them running late due to a problem.
Care plans have been amended with the changing care, we have a fully comprehensive contract, and copies of all relevant documents.
His care has increased to 4 hours on a Monday morning to give me assistance with household duties.the owner has stepped in when needed to assist in his care, also provided me with the time to discuss issues that have occurred with his ongoing . I am extremely happy with the service provided

My dad has been supported to live at home by Cygnet for over 5 years now, during that time he has gone from independent to bed-bound and suffering dementia. Cygnet have been an absolute rock throughout that period providing continuous care and advice. They take a humane, holistic approach to care; they
help me manage the transition of hospital admissions and GP/RN interactions, they provide dad with personal care and companionship, they help me to look after his house and his cat. They are such a close-knit and responsive team, communication is excellent. The Manager's experience, knowledge and expertise have been such a valuable resource for me in making decisions about how best to support dad's changing needs. I know all dad's carers and the admin team, it is a truly personal, hands-on, trustworthy, person-centred and family-centred company. I cannot recommend them highly enough if you are fortunate enough to live within their catchment.

Mum has been receiving care and assistance from Cygnet Care since April 2024 - typically 2 days per week and also every day for periods when we are away from our home - which we share with Mum.
The agency has been able to perfectly match the profile of carer to Mum's requirements and the service provided
is first class.
We live in a rural village location which the Agency is happy to support - unlike many others.
We are always informed in advance on the very rare occasions there is a difficulty in fulfilling a planned visit and an appropriate arrangement is mutually agreed.
Over the past year Mum has progressed from not accepting that she needed the support of a carer to now looking forward to each visit and the assistance with personal hygiene, light cleaning and a friendly person to chat with.

I am, as always, really happy with my care provider and all staff; nothing is ever too much trouble. Always kind, considerate and always ask if I need anything else before they leave the property. They will have discussions if I bring up any concerns and get me the relevant advice and help if needed.

Generally provide excellent care and deal with what can sometimes be a difficult client in a sensitive way. Management keeps me informed of all situations and when required offers good advice to resolve issues that may arise. Occasionally gets mixed up with rotas but sorted quickly.

A very professional and caring team. Not to be faulted. I can trust all the team and feel very comfortable with them. Any changes to the rota are notified beforehand by telephone New careers are shadowed which works well.
