Cygnet Care provides high quality community care for older people, disabled people, those who are terminally ill and those living with dementia. A family run home care provider, Cygnet Care strives to extend its family values to those it provides care for.

Staff at Cygnet Care recognise that everyone is an individual and respects their needs and interests while maintaining clients’ dignity and privacy. Services provided are wide-ranging and flexible to support individuals as best as possible. Clients may receive as much or as little support as they wish, ranging from help with shopping and laundry, to assistance with personal care or companionship visits, particularly during the winter months.

Respite and short-term care is available for those who have recently returned from hospital or whose carers are away for a short while. Cygnet Care also offers palliative care, provided by a team of dedicated and sensitive specialists who offer support to both clients and their families in collaboration with hospice and medical staff.

Recognising the importance of nutrition, all Cygnet carers hold food hygiene certificates and are trained in preparing wholesome and tasty meals to tempt even the poorest of appetites.

Cygnet Care aims to enable its clients to remain in their homes for as long as possible and will undertake almost anything to ensure this is possible.

Cygnet provide an absolutely excellent service. They are consistently professional, unfailingly well-organised, caring, attentive and alert. The staff provide my father-in-law with an extremely high standard of care, and we can confidently rest easy knowing that Cygnet are looking after him. I would

The carers who come to us every day twice a day are cheerful, kind, respectful and efficient, without being bossy, they have looked after us for nearly eight years. I can't fault them its my husband they are looking after now but always ask how I am and notice if I am feeling overwhelmed. They have
regular training courses on all aspects of care. The care company owner has chosen her staff with sensitivity, displaying her knowledge of clients in need, she is always available should we need to talk, and help during some difficult aspects with my husband. I would not hesitate to recommend them. They are all wonderful.

The care that the team at Cygnet provided my father was second to none. They continually went out of their way to ensure that Dad was as comfortable as he could be and that he had everything he needed.
Although my Dad had specific needs and he could be difficult at times, there was never an instance
where the care team gave the impression of being inconvenienced and continually provided what my family and I believed to be care with the utmost professionalism.
From the team in the office to the team on the ground, the work ethic and consideration to my Dad and the wider family members was beyond reproach.
I would highly recommend this care team to anyone who had a loved one with care requirements from the most basic to the the most complex.

Cygnet Care have looked after my widowed father in his home for many years, during which time he has gone from relatively independent to totally dependent (bed-bound and with dementia). The Manager, the care staff, and the administrators are all such humane, common-sense-driven, experienced, easy-to-talk-with
professionals who bring a wealth of experience, care and skill to what is such a responsible and intimate job. I have learned I can trust them completely, and rely on their guidance and support. My father has dementia and now thinks he is not in his own home, but he frequently remarks on how cared for he feels and how lucky he is, which is the ultimate tribute to Cygnet. Cygnet provide such a person-centred and holistic care approach, they look after the home and dad's cat, seeing everything in the round. They create community, and as a single child of an elderly parent without other family, I am immensely grateful. I recommend this company to anyone whole-heartedly.

Cygnet have been caring for my Mother for several years.
During that time I or more importantly my Mother, have had no complaints about the care she receives.


Quite the opposite.


All staff can be relied on, and my Mother looks forward to them arriving.


Communication between all staff is most

important, even more so between Management and myself, as I need to travel for 2 hrs to visit.


Overall, Cygnet get 5 stars.

We met with Cygnet Care at the end of November 2024, to arrange daily personal care for my Husband.
We felt very comfortable talking to the owner about what could be provided,
To begin with it was Monday to Friday as weekends were difficult to cover at that time, but within a few weeks we had7 days
a week cover
All the staff who have looked after myhusband have been cheerful, mindful of my husband's difficulties and have provided excellent care. The office staff have always contacted me should there be a problem with them running late due to a problem.
Care plans have been amended with the changing care, we have a fully comprehensive contract, and copies of all relevant documents.
His care has increased to 4 hours on a Monday morning to give me assistance with household duties.the owner has stepped in when needed to assist in his care, also provided me with the time to discuss issues that have occurred with his ongoing . I am extremely happy with the service provided

Mum has been receiving care and assistance from Cygnet Care since April 2024 - typically 2 days per week and also every day for periods when we are away from our home - which we share with Mum.
The agency has been able to perfectly match the profile of carer to Mum's requirements and the service provided
is first class.
We live in a rural village location which the Agency is happy to support - unlike many others.
We are always informed in advance on the very rare occasions there is a difficulty in fulfilling a planned visit and an appropriate arrangement is mutually agreed.
Over the past year Mum has progressed from not accepting that she needed the support of a carer to now looking forward to each visit and the assistance with personal hygiene, light cleaning and a friendly person to chat with.
