Cygnet Care provides high quality community care for older people, disabled people, those who are terminally ill and those living with dementia. A family run home care provider, Cygnet Care strives to extend its family values to those it provides care for.

Staff at Cygnet Care recognise that everyone is an individual and respects their needs and interests while maintaining clients’ dignity and privacy. Services provided are wide-ranging and flexible to support individuals as best as possible. Clients may receive as much or as little support as they wish, ranging from help with shopping and laundry, to assistance with personal care or companionship visits, particularly during the winter months.

Respite and short-term care is available for those who have recently returned from hospital or whose carers are away for a short while. Cygnet Care also offers palliative care, provided by a team of dedicated and sensitive specialists who offer support to both clients and their families in collaboration with hospice and medical staff.

Recognising the importance of nutrition, all Cygnet carers hold food hygiene certificates and are trained in preparing wholesome and tasty meals to tempt even the poorest of appetites.

Cygnet Care aims to enable its clients to remain in their homes for as long as possible and will undertake almost anything to ensure this is possible.

I cannot praise highly enough the whole service and care provided by Cygnet Care (Devon) and their carers. They are professional, kind, caring, organised, receptive, easy to talk with.


The carers are so good - friendly, bubbly, positive and genuinely care.


The office and management are also great,

organised, receptive/responsive to requests. Proactive. A great sense of support for me and Mum.

My friend needs low-level care at the moment. But his needs have been and continue to be met very professionally and satisfactory. The carers are always punctual. I find the care for father is very satisfactory it is keeping him in his own home gets a hot meal every day. Also sees people he gets the right medication every night.
Cygnet Care is very reliable always have time for a chat with my father. Any problems they contact me.

We needed care for a 96-year-old on holiday in Devon. Cygnet Care was our choice. They were professional and diligent in their work, very friendly and helpful. They arrived on time every time. We could not have asked for more, will use Cygnet Care again if in Devon again. Would recommend them for anyone
needing care in that area. 10/10.

Cygnet Care (Devon) is a small care company with the most fantastic staff. They have supported and cared for my mother for over five years now and I would thoroughly recommend their service to any age or need required. The care agency works hard to provide flexibility and encourage independence with
the client, tailor making bespoke care plans to best suit the needs of the whole family. The care team who support my mum are the most amazing girls and I trust them and value their support and opinions whilst they help mum live out her life at home.

The service provided by Cygnet Care (Devon) Ltd has been wonderful. The professional team behind the scenes are understanding and always on hand to deal with emergencies and eventualities. My father in law likes all the carers and say they treat him with respect and dignity. The main positive is they
stick to a few individuals to ensure he is familiar with them. They have all got us out of a few really sticky moments, issues which we are eternally grateful.

We are extremely happy with the care provided by Cygnet Care (Devon) Ltd for my husband. They provide excellent much-needed care for him.


The staff are always helpful and kind and attentive to all his needs which are many as his is peg fed and unable to walk at the moment due to having a stroke.

We are very grateful for this excellent service.

I made a general enquiry to this company and the lady I spoke to was very helpful indeed. She seemed impartial and even though she could not help me directly, she gave me great advice which has allowed me to progress. I can thoroughly recommend her kind and caring approach, if this is an example of
the whole company then I will do my best to do more business with them in the future.


Care/support and staff I'd say is excellent. I don't know first hand about the rest but I can't submit this review without filling those in.
