Cygnet Care provides high quality community care for older people, disabled people, those who are terminally ill and those living with dementia. A family run home care provider, Cygnet Care strives to extend its family values to those it provides care for.

Staff at Cygnet Care recognise that everyone is an individual and respects their needs and interests while maintaining clients’ dignity and privacy. Services provided are wide-ranging and flexible to support individuals as best as possible. Clients may receive as much or as little support as they wish, ranging from help with shopping and laundry, to assistance with personal care or companionship visits, particularly during the winter months.

Respite and short-term care is available for those who have recently returned from hospital or whose carers are away for a short while. Cygnet Care also offers palliative care, provided by a team of dedicated and sensitive specialists who offer support to both clients and their families in collaboration with hospice and medical staff.

Recognising the importance of nutrition, all Cygnet carers hold food hygiene certificates and are trained in preparing wholesome and tasty meals to tempt even the poorest of appetites.

Cygnet Care aims to enable its clients to remain in their homes for as long as possible and will undertake almost anything to ensure this is possible.

A very professional and caring team. Not to be faulted. I can trust all the team and feel very comfortable with them. Any changes to the rota are notified beforehand by telephone New careers are shadowed which works well.

The team at Cygnet Care have been truly invaluable in assisting my mother and I through many of the confusing situations that occur when a dementia diagnosis is made.
Daily visits from the carers, with their thoughtful companionship and assistance to my mother have allowed her to stay independently
in her own home. They've also been a great source of advice for myself. I would highly recommend them.

All staff are well presented, they are friendly, kind and respectful. My personal care is respectful of my dignity and they follow care direction from the district nurses for the daily care of my legs, as they heal following injury.

As a family we are delighted and consider ourselves very fortunate that Dad has the quality care that he gets from Cygnet Care. The care given to my mother by Cygnet Care (Devon) goes above and beyond. To my mum, the team are like family, they called on her when passing even out of their hours. She is treated with respect and love which at 91 years of age is appreciated and rare,

From our initial approach on 25/10/2021 to 19/01/2022 (admitted to hospital), we have been impressed by the efficiency of the management and the care, ability and friendliness of the carers.
When necessary, adjustments were made to the care plan to fit in with the user's needs.

We chose Cygnet Care because of excellent reviews and for the past eighteen months we have not been disappointed. The service has been exemplary. All the team from carers to management have been great - professional, experienced, kind and friendly; and really supportive offering help and much needed
advice. The carers are unfailingly kind, cheerful and gentle with Mum, who has advanced Alzheimer's, and to my dad who is the primary carer. We know we can rely on their help and expertise which is a great comfort as I do not live nearby.

Both Mum and I are very grateful to Cygnet Care for the excellent service they provide. All the carers are supportive, helpful, kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. They allow Mum to feel safe and cared for and keep her in her own home where she wants to be and, as her daughter, I have peace

My wife's experience is presently just two hours per week, sitting service. Use of a designated attendee has been good for continuity and for experiencing a range of emotional states. Occasional difficult times have been managed well, preserving a good and happy relationship with my wife.
