1. They are all very nice and delightful without exception.
2. They all do their best within their ability.
3. The 3 long service ones are excellent .

4. The newer ones are a bit hesitant to get on and do things without being asked.

My mother has enjoyed the company and support of the Home Instead team (Stone, Staffordshire) since 2023. Every single member of staff has gone above and beyond for her. I have always known that she was in the most caring hands. The compassion and kindness shown to my mother has been exemplary. The communication has always been excellent, from telephone calls, emails and the customer portal.
My mother and I have felt truly valued by everyone.

I recommend Home Instead to anyone needing "at home" care for themselves or a loved one.

Home Instead Stone have made such a positive difference to my mum's life. Mum has Alzheimer's, and the companionship they provide is so much more than simply visiting her at home.

They take the time to get to know her, treat her with genuine kindness and respect, and take her out to places she enjoys. Seeing her continue to experience new things, socialise, and enjoy meaningful outings has really enhanced her quality of life and helped her maintain her independence for as long as possible.

The support they provide also gives our family invaluable peace of mind and much-needed respite, knowing Mum is in the safe hands of caring, compassionate professionals who truly have her best interests at heart.

The team are reliable, patient and incredibly understanding of the challenges that come with dementia. Their warmth and dedication shine through in everything they do.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead Stone to anyone looking for high-quality and person-centred care

The three carers who came to us were very friendly they have taken my wife out to many different places and every time she came home very happy she had obviously had an enjoyable time.

I appreciate not just the time while she was out but also the change when she comes home.

I first contacted Home Instead when my mum moved to the area following the death of my dad - by which time we had also discovered that she had Alzheimers - my mum was only 69.
Home Instead have been a great support for mum, right from the early days of diagnosis through to the terrible time we have found ourselves in now where mum has now had to go into full time residential care.
The ladies from Home Instead have been an amazing support for both mum and me; it has given mum a friend to talk to and someone to spend time with outside of the house; it gave me the reassurance that mum was in safe hands whilst I was at work.

It also gave mum the stimulation that she needed - from lovely walks and picnics to watching a film, colouring in and painting. They also introduced mum to a wonderful club in Stone, where she could go and enjoy herself dancing.......hopefully she will continue to do this. I honestly do not know what I would have done without them - they have been such a big help to u

Home Instead is a first class company, I have been so impressed with the quality of care that my mum receives from each one of her carers, they are all very well trained to deal with the needs of their clients. My mum looks at them as her friends and it gives me the peace of mind that I need to know that she's getting the excellent care that she deserves, nothing is too much trouble for the carers, they all do over and above and I wouldn't hesitate in highly recommending the company. I find the online portal so beneficial to myself too, I can log in anytime and read how mum has been after each carers visit which again is an invaluable asset. It's not just the care that is excellent though it's also the administration staff too, they work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure the company runs smoothly - all in all an absolutely fantastic company.

I have received kind and consistently good care from all the care team allocated to me and for that I shall always be grateful. I have experienced progressive mobility and improving health due to their care that has far exceeded my expectations. The care taken in matching carer to patient has undoubtedly contributed to this and the friendships I feel I have made during this process has, without a doubt, contributed to my present, improved health and general feeling of wellbeing. For which I will always be grateful.

Home Instead has provided outstanding home support to my elderly disabled parent for over three years. Throughout this time I have been impressed by the conscientious, caring and very reliable service. Unlike some homecare providers, Home Instead has ensured that my parent has regular carers who he has got to know well, and who know him well. My parent is treated with respect, no job is too small, or too big, and the care he receives means he is able to continue to live independently. Their support has meant that I have peace of mind despite being almost 200 miles away, I genuinely couldn't manage without them. I recommend Home Instead unreservedly.

Homeinstead. Are an excellent support provider. They have looked after our son for about 8 years now. Very happy with the service they provide. Carers are brilliant. Very friendly and supportive conscientious and very trustworthy. My son enjoys their visits. Plus new carers are matched up with our son to make sure they are the right ones for him. Feel that he is very well cared for.
The office staff are very good as well. Very efficient and friendly and very approachable If there are any issues the Manager deals with them very promptly.

Plus regular reviews to see if everything is going smoothly. Good communication with both carers and office staff.

Home Instead are fabulous. Nothing is too much for the carers. It is good to know that my Dad is being cared for properly, no short cuts taken, no short visits and the staff are proactive, if they see that something needs doing they do it.
It is so reassuring to know that now I can't look after my Dad properly, the carers are there to step in.
The office staff are lovely and bend over backwards to help.

Thank you Home Instead for being there.

Very satisfied with the service provided. My husband, who has Parkinson's and dementia, has a carer twice a week at the moment and it is the same carer on both days. She is lovely and my husband is used to her and remembers her. If a different carer has to come because of holidays, etc. you are introduced beforehand rather than just turn up on the day and they can see what the regular carer does. Carers are always on time and pleasant and friendly. I would not hesitate in recommending Home Instead.

Home Instead have been supporting my Mother since she fell and broke her wrist in December 2024. From the outset the service has been excellent: professional and caring. She has an extremely good rapport with her worker and the whole team. She lives with her partner in a rural location and he no longer drives, so the twice weekly visits are a chance for her to go out and go for coffee or do the weekly food shop. We know that this support can be increased if circumstances change. The Service Manager holds regular reviews with us and is highly professional and effective. The team step in and help when there are particular issues or the support needs to be increased. I know they will communicate any issues quickly and in a professional manner. We cannot praise the service highly enough. Mum loves the support, and they give me great peace of mind.

Home Instead provided excellent support and care. They enabled them to live at home with greater independence helping my mother support herself and her husband with their personal care needs; giving medication and supporting shopping and cooking of their breakfasts and lunchtime meals and any personal care needed. All provided good care and support for this but I would like to thank those that were particularly intuitive and responsive to their needs physical and emotional and the friendships they developed over the past few years. They all showed professionalism and care with dignity and respect.

The management and communications with Home Instead were excellent and always responsive to any change in their care needs even out of hours.Thank you to Home Instead for this support and would recommend to those who need support at home with ageing relatives.

This Home Instead office has been providing support for many years and I am very proud of everything that we have achieved.

My previous role was at a children’s hospice, where the person-centred care made such a difference in their quality of life. Because of that, I feel very passionate about helping people to keep their independence for as long as possible, wherever they are on life’s journey, making sure that their care matches their wishes at all times.

We couldn’t provide such great care without our brilliant staff either! They are a really dedicated team who always go the extra mile.

I have now worked for Home Instead for well over a decade, starting initially as a carer. I had previously worked with children but thought about a career change and realised that I wanted to help older people. It is very rewarding to build relationships and support our clients to live their lives to the fullest. I have progressed within the company over that time and am now the Care Manager. Every day is different and I really enjoy what I do.

I am passionate about providing the highest quality care that we can. I visit clients at home and it is wonderful when they say what a difference we make to their lives.

Away from work, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my husband and children.

I started my career in the care sector a little over 30 years ago. During that time, I have been employed in a variety of care settings, working with learning disabilities, the elderly and also mental health clients in a secure unit. I have also been a Registered Manager at a residential care home.

I became a carer here in May 2018 and am now the Training and Retention Manager. I came here because I believe that we can make a real difference to people’s lives, and reassure loved ones, best of all the calls are never rushed!

In my free time, I enjoy quizzes, art and football. (It’s Stoke City if you’re wondering!).

Rebecca
Rebecca Job Title:Office ManagerJoined: 2012

I had a job in administration previously and also helped in the office part-time, managing the accounts.

From a very young age, I was used to meeting new people at Mum and Dad’s office when we lived in Spain.

I really enjoy finding out what makes people tick and seeing if they share Home Instead’s values.

I am so pleased to be working in my parent’s family business. Working here is fantastic because providing such a high standard of care is something I can be very proud of. I also love working with Mum; to see her every day is wonderful. My mum and I are both caring people, which definitely comes from my nan, as she used to work in a children’s residential home and with people with learning disabilities. I enjoy working with the team and helping to develop new staff.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my Husband and kids. We go on narrowboat holidays whenever we can.

Michelle
Michelle Job Title:Client Services CoordinatorJoined: 2014

I originally trained as a Registered General Nurse and worked for a number of years in a general surgery ward.

After a career break to look after my children, I wanted a change from a hospital environment and was looking for a care company that didn’t rush through calls and where I would be able to spend some quality time with the clients.

I have worked here now for many years and have always supported the same clients, which is very rewarding and I’ve been able to build good relationships with them. Since starting to work in the office I have been keeping care plans updated and auditing our paperwork.

I enjoy long walks with my Jack Russell terrier, time with the family and going to the cinema.
