Before we started to receive help, there was a very impressive meeting with office staff (thoughtful and strategic), to put in place the best assistance needed. The 3 ladies we have had come, have been a perfect match for the very special needs of my wife.

I am very happy with the service provided by Home Instead Senior Care. My companion, who comes each week for 3 hours, is very good company and easy to get on with. I see her as a younger sister I never had. Long may she continue to support me in years to come.

I am impressed with the organisation and care given to my mother. There was a thorough assessment at the beginning to ensure that the agency understood the finer details of mum's needs and preferences. Our carer has been really lovely - always positive, smiley, caring and I can tell mum feels very comfortable being with her. This means I am very much at ease knowing that all is well.

Home Instead has provided my wife with care assistance since November 2017. So far the help and support has been exemplary - not only the front line help but in the administrative background to match their resources with our needs.

My experience, acting on behalf of my close friend. Has been and still is positive. Whilst the skill of individual carers vary, they all fulfil the most important function of them all, the care. This is a quality that can not be bought.

In essence, it is the building blocks on which all care should be founded, not on degrees obtained but on the understanding shown by one person to another.

The carer provided by Home Instead is helpful, courteous, friendly, sympathetic and empathetic. She enjoys my mother's company, takes time with her to talk and listen and engage with her especially in talking about the past. She also uses her initiative and is proactive in dealing with unforeseen situations as they arise.

She is a great comfort and friend to my mother.

Regarding reviews carried out periodically by visiting administration staff. Staff are extremely friendly but the review/questionnaire is over long and exhausting. The length and manner of it is not age appropriate.
