For the last few years, Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry have provided increasing amounts of care for my father as his condition deteriorated. The care has been exceptional and the relationship built up between my father, his partner and the carers has been lovely to see. Nothing is ever too much trouble, dignity and respect are always shown, and as much laughter, activities and fun as possible. As my father transitioned into a care home, which was fairly traumatic for the family, the team at Radfield helped enormously in smoothing the way and taking a lot of stress away from us - for which I am eternally grateful. I cannot recommend Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry highly enough!

I have used Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry since August. The carers are all so thoughtful and kind. In September Mum broke her shoulder and sleeping nights were arranged for a month without any problem at all. We have now settled into a routine at weekends with two carers in the main, and they are more like friends to my mum than carers.

We have been having help from Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry since July with personal care for my husband on 4 mornings a week. This help is proving to be invaluable; our carers are entirely reliable, very professional and capable and they look after my husband respectfully and with kindness. They are also unfailingly cheerful and friendly, all I could wish for!

The carers we have are very helpful, friendly and caring. They also do a large variety of things to keep my partner occupied and when dealing with his bath routines, they are most caring and do things with dignity for him. Lots of laughter which is good for us all.

My siblings and myself are delighted with the care that is provided for our mother by Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry. Our mother’s wishes are always taken into account by the carers and her house is left neat, clean and tidy at the end of a care session. We feel very reassured that mum is well looked after. Any new medication that needs to be provided or administered is always promptly put on mum’s care plan. If ever I need to phone the office, the staff are always welcoming and helpful and have done their utmost to provide the level of care that mum needs. This was sometimes at very short notice when we started to use Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry. The carers that I have met when I have been at my mother’s house are always friendly, polite and helpful and I always leave feeling reassured. We took a leap in the dark when choosing Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry in September 2020. I’m so pleased we did.

My weekly visit from one of your home care team is always very welcome. They are unfailingly very adaptable and carry out the tasks which need doing to a very good standard. There are quite a few household tasks which, due to my deteriorating health, I have struggled to complete. I know that a visit from Radfield will leave my house feeling clean again.

I am 88 years old suffering from severe rheumatoid arthritis. I am happy to live alone but finally had to have help with washing and dressing. Radfield Home Care have enabled me to stay in my own home.

We found this company to be efficient and very caring during the relatively short period of time that they looked after mum. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I felt that she was in safe hands when I wasn't there.

Radfield Home Care looked after my uncle from when he was diagnosed with lung cancer until he passed away last week. Their care has always been finely tuned to his needs and wishes. I could not rate the whole team more highly for professionalism and compassion. They were extremely reliable and reassuring - right the way through the Coronavirus pandemic - they kept him safe and well looked after. When the time came to increase his care, they responded immediately. The manager of the team was very kind and compassionate to me... full of reassurance that he would be well looked after. Everyone that came to visit was treated kindly and thoughtfully - it was evident that my uncle was being beautifully looked after. He grew very fond of many of the carers and each night when I spoke to him he was always so grateful for their help and kindness. As I am sure you can tell from this review - I highly recommend Radfield Home Care.

Having stayed with my mum for nearly two weeks following a fall which she had. She soon began to feel better during the day times, but I was still unhappy at leaving her at night time, due to her still having difficulty at getting out of bed safely during the night to use the toilet. I was recommended Radfield Home Care by my cousin who had previously used them for her mother. I found the manager to be very helpful in setting up the night supervisions, and the first-night carer who I met, was very professional and caring. The literature provided is very informative, and the care Planning app is an excellent way to read the reports produced by each carer who looked after my mum. Especially as I do not live local to my mum. I contacted the manager on many occasions and each time I found her to be helpful patient and understanding.

Thank you for all the care and support you have given my mother during this very difficult time. My mum is easily unsettled, prone to wandering and requires dedicated one to one care. Your staff have been diligent and responsive to her needs and kept her happy. It has been a great comfort to know that she has someone with her while we are unable to see her.

Radfield are completely reliable, and the staff are some of the most wonderful people I've ever met. They are all very warm people, who engage mum in all the activities she loves to do. They do their job with love, which I see every day when I video call her (family no visits now due to Covid epidemic) and when I see pics from Radfield. Mum now looks so happy and it fills me with joy.

I have found Radfield to be very professional. I'm very happy and carers are very helpful; they go above and beyond. I get my rota all the time; the office team are very good and even come out to see clients.

We have been treated with kindness, respect, dignity and their knowledge and understanding of dementia is very good. They bring to us a beaming light, each one different. We have been extremely happy since they started in March 2018.

I have been extremely pleased with the services Radfield have provided for both my mother and father. The carers are very reliable and show great compassion and care. On several occasions due to medical emergencies, they have stayed beyond their allocated times until a satisfactory outcome has been arranged. All the carers are friendly and professional. When we have needed help the office have accommodated our requests promptly and without fuss. Highly recommend.
