Sisterly Care Ltd - Havant

We have been very grateful for the care given to my husband, 93. They go in 30 minutes each morning, the girls get him up, put him in the bath using bath riser. Dry, dress and leave him in the upstairs sitting room. They are usually on time. Invariably encouraging and positive. The girls have become valued friends.

I am satisfied. They are all on time.

Carers are very good. Office staff dealing with schedules very good. Office staff dealing with bills and payments unreliable and need a shake up. Too much reliance on computers.

I am very pleased with the care I receive. My carers are all very kind and caring. I sometimes feel confused and a bit disorientated when I wake up in the morning, but having someone there to get me breakfast and reassure me is a great comfort. It is nice to have a chat and see a cheerful face, as I feel a bit lovely at times. I think it's also reassuring for my family to know that I have someone popping in at breakfast and teatime to check on me. I don't always remember their names but I do recognise their faces and I have become very fond of them.

I don't yet need personal care, but if that day comes I would not hesitate to employ Sisterly Care - it seems to me that they have the right ethos, and I have already recommended them to a friend, who I believe now employs their staff.

I can offer no greater praise than to say the I look forward to each visit.

Sisterly Care Ltd have provided wonderful support to our family in very challenging times and more importantly, exemplary care to my mother. We are provided with the same carer, who is very kind to my mother and who is exceptionally reliable. The back office staff are also very good and easy to deal with. Living alone is tough and when I realised I needed support, I turned to Sisterly Care. They came and met me, listened to what I needed and introduced a care plan which really helps me. The carers understand the best way to assist me with daily jobs and treat me with respect, this has helped ease the responsibilities on my family. Sisterly Care have assisted for the past 4 years. I am pleased with the assistance throughout this period. I have personal care 4 times a day including weekends. Staff are very cooperative in helping my position.

Sisterly Care is one of the best agencies I've used for care. They've kept themselves small and more personal. They'll always listen to what you have to say on the phone and remain polite even with a small issue, other agencies haven't been so polite. They also always warn me if there is a problem with getting a carer to me or if the times need to be changed. Sometimes carers can be a bit off and some come very early sometimes. The agency is aware of this.

From the initial contact with my mother's carer, the service has been very good. My dad is happy with the service and it has been flexible to meet his needs. Only comment I would have is that he often has different carer's which is not a real problem, but it takes him a while to get used to his new person.

The team are very friendly and helpful. I am treated with respect and dignity. If I am ill or poorly when they arrive to shower and dress me, then they call my daughter. This rarely happens though my being ill.

Staff are nice, competent and obliging.

Sisterly Care provide carers who do exactly as we have requested and take into account what mum asks them too. As time has progressed, care needs have changed and a call to the office has resulted in the required changes being actioned.

There have been occasions when doctors or nurses have been needed and carers have organised this and informed us. We are pleased with their work. The carers write a log which keeps us informed of practical difficulties they have come across.

I find the care I get is very good, caring, helpful. The carers make you feel relaxed in their company.
