Formally known as WarrenCare, Choices Homecare's motto is 'skilled care your way', which is a philosophy they look to bring to older and vulnerable adults throughout South and West Yorkshire. They are proud to support people to live in their own homes for longer and can provide a full range of homecare services.

Their 'Values' are embedded throughout the Organisation to ensure they reflect their Vision (...to deliver a service to be proud of), and are able to deliver the best quality of care that they can for all of their service users.

They offer a person centred approach to a wide range of care needs (offering support with: personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance, home respite/safety check visits or sitting services whilst family go out (or other), assisting service users to go out into the community, shopping, light domestic help and more). They can also provide support to adults who suffer dementia, or those with learning or other disabilities.

There is a strong focus on quality recruitment and training and Choices are passionate about delivering safe, well planned services; care and support workers promote choice and independence to assist service users in remaining as independent as possible, whatever the situation. Outcome-focused services take account of client preferences and aspirations, with 'Choices' considering themselves as 'working in partnership with their service users' to deliver, quality services to each and every one.

I don't need 200 words to say what I need. Fantastic. All my lovely ladies have been wonderful, cheerful, it's wonderful to hear their lovely good morning mill and always so pleasant and helpful especially the angel who comes 4 times a week. These lovely friends are worth their weight in gold. Thank
you for them and WarrenCare Ltd God Bless all of you.

Coming late, could you not phone clients to let them know that they will be seen later than usual? I don't thnk it's fair to people, my time is 10:30 - 11:30 not 11 - 11:15. You have everyone's phone numbers, it would be nice to be told.

You gave us some really positive ratings but mention not being told if your care worker was running later than usual. The service provided is very good and administered with care, smiles and dignity.

An improvement to the service would be if a copy of the proposed roster was sent to the service user/family each week. My husband always gets anxious waiting to see who will turn up. This could have to be changed

to accommodate emergencies but it would help a lot.
Reply from Elaine Bradley-Smith, Employee Engagement & Communications Officer at Choices Homecare (Bootle)Thank you for your feedback, we take all feedback received (both positive & negative), very seriously to assist in improving our services even further moving forwards. Any compliments are passed on to our care & support workers. We have taken on board the point you raised about receiving a roster and have arranged for one to be sent to you weekly and hope this helps alleviate any anxiety your husband may suffer. Once again, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and please don't hesitate to get in touch with our office if there's anything you would like to discuss in the future. Thank you.
