The care professionals visiting and taking care of my mother live up to their title of being professional: always on time; attentive to details; motivated to find solutions to everyday problems; friendly and polite; and giving clear feedback via the online tool. The latter is a great help for me since I do not live close by and in this manner I am regularly updated on my mother's condition and situation. I appreciate very much the motivation and understanding of the carers as well as their personal and caring approach. Bravo!
Have never let us down and someone always attends and on time. My dad is happy with the service and happy to recommend. Staff are friendly and attentive. Was easy to set up the service. Online app enables me to check and review visits and take up any issues highlighted with my father.
My daughter is very happy with all her carers and looks forward to them coming, they are all friendly and supportive, you can hear her chatting and laughing all through her time with them. The service they give is so helpful to us as well as her as we are probably older ourselves than some of your clients (haha) a wonderful service.
Home Instead have met my needs and I have no qualms with their service.
Overall my father is happy with the care provided, he says the staff are reliable, friendly and helpful. One criticism from him would be that staff do not always support him fully to get in and out of the car when taking him shopping.
I have been truly rewarded with the two ladies who come to see me on Tuesday and Thursday. I find them to be helpful and willing to do whatever my needs be - in addition, their happy attitude is truly uplifting.
The two hours they visit each day normally come with a smile and professional approach. Each carer has her own way of dealing with Dad, sometimes it can be a bit confusing for him but overall the service is excellent and I would recommend the service wholeheartedly.
A small team of carers enable Dad to retain a degree of independence and maintain a daily routine. Unprompted they complete household tasks to keep his home safe and clean. All staff are friendly and helpful. The online updates after each visit allow us to check he is safe and well throughout the day and has gone to bed each night.
Over a few years my wife experienced a very good service until she passed away. I continue to use the carers and can vouch the service is excellent.
Home Instead (Clacton, Frinton & Walton) employ very caring, kind, helpful, supportive staff. All have been wonderful. Living over 550 miles away in Scotland the service has been of great reassurance that my mother is being well looked after and any problems/concerns with my mother are forwarded to me. All staff are prompt and cheerful, cannot fault really.
Home Instead has certainly bought stability to our household. The presence of their care staff has worked well in improving the well being Mum and Dad with regular help with medication and contribution to the running of house cleaning and meals.
Carers are very understanding, no problems are left unsolved. Management will not let problems go, they will act straight away.
Our mother loves the friendliness, punctuality and discreet professionalism of her carers and the companionship they also provide as much as the personal care. She looks forward to that bright spot in her day. The family, who are long-distance carers, appreciate the excellent communication and swift response to any concerns - always ready to offer whatever extra help is needed. Service reviews are regular and new tasks are added as required.
I was very fragile when I left hospital and came home. Your assistants were all very friendly and courteous. Initially, carrying out all the personal work professionally and as my energy slowly improved, with understanding, (and dare I say, with a sense of gentle humour!). Each assistant was different but all had a friendly, gentle dedication - I miss them all.
Very good overall. Perfect for what I require but the price is a bit on the high side (hence why I ticked don't know) for my requirements as it's purely a companionship call as I have a 24-hour carer and the visit is just to give her a break.
Dad enjoys his visits. The carers are all very caring and personable. I would recommend Home Instead to all.
We are very happy with the care. The management is always on hand to help. If there are any issues we can always telephone and they are resolved.
My husband and I are very pleased with the service we received from Home Instead. All the carers we have are great and very good with my husband. They all have a laugh and joke.
I am very happy with the care you provide. The staff are first class.
I know I can totally rely on Home Instead to turn up on time, they always keep to their hours. The staff are so friendly and take great care of Mum on their visits. I've never had a problem dealing with the office staff as they are so accommodating and efficient. I would thoroughly recommend the company to anyone looking for an excellent company to look after loved ones.

Meet the Team (10)
Louise is our Head of Client Experience and she manages all aspects of client services to ensure we give professional, caring, tailor-made care and support, constantly reviewing ongoing care needs to provide the best possible client experience. She is a calm, safe pair of hands, always supportive and highly professional.
Tracey is the Senior Care Coordinator and is responsible for ensuring that the right care professional goes to the right client at the right time. We know this as a schedule! Tracey does her best to ensure both clients and care professionals are happy and their needs met and she does this with care, a smile and plenty of common sense.
Jo is our Office Administrator and she looks after the team as a whole ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office, so on the surface, Jo looks calm and in control but under the water, her feet are paddling like crazy.
Jo is our Community Engagement Officer and it's her job to help raise awareness of the services we provide and the wonderful work that our Care Professionals do every day, as well as engaging with our partner organisations.
Ben is our General Manager and joined Home Instead in November 2021. He is responsible for the overall management of our growing company including operational and business development. Ben previously worked as a regional support manager for a home care franchise and brings a wealth of experience to the Frinton, Clacton & Walton team.
Jean is the owner and business manager for this service. She is a nurse and a midwife and has worked in care all her career, including a 15-year stint in developing countries such as Iraq and Kosovo. To such ends, she is used to high-pressure work and dealing with peoples’ needs that vary from the basic to the complex. Jean's goal for this service is for it to be a valuable resource for the community and to deliver a high-quality service that is very professional and reliable. Her goal for her staff, office and Care Professionals, is that they feel valued and respected.
Marie works alongside Tracey, our Care coordinator and together they plan and schedule each client's care call. It's a lot more complex than it sounds! We work hard to gain as much information about each client as we can so that we can identify appropriately matched Care Professionals. We also have the needs of our Care Professionals to consider too, so Tracey and Marie are adept at juggling priorities and working hard to keep both clients and Care Professionals happy.
Kayleigh is our Finance Manager and she looks after our financial health here at Home Instead. She's a numbers kind of gal, who manages our cash flow and reviews financial reports and forecasts to make sure we stay within budget. Kayleigh also makes sure that all our wonderful Care Professionals get paid the right money and on time, so you might say she's pretty important in our eyes.
Helen is a Senior Care Professional here at Home Instead. In addition to her role of supporting and caring for clients, Helen also visits prospective new clients to carry out care consultations. This involves assessing the needs of a client so that we can tailor make a care package specifically for them and identify the most suitable Care Professional for their needs, interests and personality. Helen is also instrumental in those first introductory meetings between clients and Care Pros, making sure they run smoothly. As you would expect, her people skills also make Helen a fantastic mentor and support to her Care Pro colleagues.
Maria is one of our Communications and Engagement Officers along with Jo. They work together to look at how we can be champions of compassion within our communities, networking with partner organisations and the wonderful local charities and volunteers that already reach out to reduce loneliness and isolation particularly among our older residents. They also look out for sponsorship opportunities and organise events to celebrate the fantastic care and support Home Instead provides. Maria is creative and loves meeting new people.
