We started using Signet Healthcare after trying four care teams in the area for our darling Dad, who had a complicated condition and required a team of carers throughout the day to support him and myself. We met two members of staff first who carried out an extensive assessment of Dad's needs and continued to monitor and update requests as things changed. The care team who came on a regular basis, as well as other members, were amazing, prompt, accessible, attentive to Dad's needs and extremely sympathetic; Signet was always ready to help with changes to medication or Dad's condition as he deteriorated and provided a real lifeline to the Dads care plan. I can’t thank them enough for helping us on what was Dad's last journey in life. They made him comfortable and safe and gave him his dignity - where Dad was very intelligent and understood what was happening in his beautiful home. Carers arrived with no care plan, no PPE, and needed shadowing. I asked the company to shadow them, but instead blamed me for refusing carers (I have CCTV), and blamed social services for not supplying the care plan, which the social services had supplied. The problem is these carers had poor skills, broken English communication problems.
