My care is excellent with regular carers allocated. but yesterday (24/06), not for the first time my regular carers were put on another assignment without notice to myself. I suffer from anxiety and when this happens it causes me undue stress. I understand about sick absences, vacations, etc but this
was not one of those situations.
Please can Care Mark keep the regular carers on the routes both the carers and clients are used to, this helps avoid delay, and stress and helps both parties.

The overall care varies depending on the carers allocated. New carers need more training in English, how to use a microwave, the names of items of food e.g. eggs, and basic cooking. Allocated times are not always adhered to. My night call was always 9:30 pm the last few months it can varied between
8 pm and 10 pm. Few careers are very good and able to do things without being asked to.

The carer is a very good carer for my husband. He comes regularly four times a day to attend to my husband's needs. He enjoys his company and the carer is a very cheerful person. We usually have a laugh when he is here.

On behalf of my mother-in-law, we cannot say how good the care she has received has been. Nothing was too much and if we requested anything, it was done straight away and always with very good care and dignity to her. My mother-in-law could be a very resilient and stubborn person, but she took to them

I have spent enough time trying to sort the mess out for my mum's care so I will make it brief, ie. staff have no empathy, do not keep records of client's personal care, rude when told they're doing something wrong, lifting and handling issues witnessed by social services, used same gloves to toilet
and make dinner, turn up late and apologise with no explanation. My mum was laid 14 hours before someone turned up, 2 hours late. The list goes on, safe to say we have sacked them off. Goodbye.

I have had Caremark Hull and East Riding for a number of years now and the carers and supervisors are friendly and have treated me with respect, dignity and support. The only issue I have had is the lack of communication when visits or carers change.

My mum is the first call at 7 am each morning, yet today it was another no-show, still no carer by 8:30 am. Not even a courtesy call. My brother had to leave work to help dress, and if this was Tuesday she would have missed an important appointment. It's just apology after apology from the office,
and she is known to the carers as the one who 'complains', which is unacceptable

We will not be the only people who are faced with a loved one in urgent need of care when all the health services can offer are half promises with indefinite time scales. As good fortune had it on the day that we were faced with that position a leaflet from Caremark dropped through our letter box. Within
three hours of making the initial telephone enquiry overnight care was organised as from that same night with the minimum of formalities to go through. Fantastic care and service provided throughout. Many thanks to Caremark.

My Mum has been a client for 3 years. She sadly passed away last Thursday. A phone call would have been nice to acknowledge her passing and that you were sorry to hear the sad news, after my Dad had phoned to say she had passed. Guess clients don't actually matter at the end of the day.
