The carers have been very supportive and allowed my husband independence. They are willing to do small housekeeping duties such as laying the table for breakfast. I was able to feel relaxed when I went away on holiday knowing he was cared for. He says he was looked after, and they followed the instructions I left, however, I was disappointed that I wasn't informed by the manager that they weren't able to help defrost the freezer I was told by a carer.
Good Morning, I'm sorry this issue was not discussed with you, it has not been brought to my attention before this. Please feel free to call me, and I will try and arrange a call for when this task can be completed. Kind regards.
The carer does a good job and is very helpful.
Very good, all the staff helpful and caring.
I am usually ready to meet the carer morning or night. Assistance given regarding administering medicines. I am treated with dignity and thoughtfulness.
For walking carers, not enough time is given to get to the next call. Sometimes a carer and client are waiting for the second carer to help.
Hello, If you would like to contact the office and I can discuss any concerns you may have? Carer's are always allocated travel time so I will look into why they have not been arriving on time. Kind Regards Russell.
Unfortunately no consistency of staff: some carers are excellent and a credit to the profession and others should really be looking for alternative employment. Suggest to improve supervision, for example;
1. Carer enters the home without greetings to the client and then proceed to sit down and look at their phone.
2. Carer comes in very chatty and cheerful and is engaging with the client. Obviously, the client is more likely to feel better with the second carer.
The client feels unable to complain as does not want to seem ungrateful. Hence the scoring.
Hello, I'm sorry your relative has not had the best experience with certain carers. Please would you call the office and ask to speak with myself and I will look into the issues you have discussed. Russell.
I would like to say a very big thank you to all the carers who looked after our Dad in the last few months of his life, especially to a carer whose care and compassion went above and beyond. Dad thought very highly of him and he is an excellent carer, nothing was too much trouble for him. I would recommend the company to others.
My wife feels so comfortable when these carers turn up and has a cry when they are not here. There are 3 carers in particular who, if she didn't see them, I'm afraid she would be so upset.
All the carers are quite nice and I am very happy with them. Will try to help with any queries.
I look forward to my carers coming three times a day. Four or five excellent.
The carers have treated me with dignity, kindness and are very caring.
My main carer has been off since 2019 and another carer who has known me for 5 years has stepped up to take her place and knows me very well and knows what I need doing and the standard I expect, especially the little things that other carers don't know about or just don't do. I have memory problems and she reminds me about appointments I have which other carers forget to look on my calendar in the mornings to remind me. I always had her for morning calls but they keep changing her and that's when things get missed.
We will always try for consistency when arranging carers for our clients because we understand the importance of this and the impact it can have on the lives of our clients. I'm sorry to hear this has changed recently for you, we would only change a carer when it is absolutely necessary. Moving forward I will look into this and try to have your normal routine back in place without disruptions.
The 2 carers I have are very caring. They do not rush me and do what I want. I am very satisfied.
They are consistently professional, treat my husband with dignity and are efficient in all they do. Safety and care is their priority. My husband feels cared for, listened to and feels they fully understand his care needs.
They do not rush and have time for my husband and reassure me that his needs are met.
Most of the carers Dad gets on his rota are brilliant. We have only had two we don't want to attend again due to not being willing/able to keep to Dad's agreed needs. Timings could be better, communication to the client on time/carer changes is needed. Individual carers are recognised for their great work when we have fed this back which is nice to hear.
Very helpful girls. One day one girl was telephoned at 6.20 am to go to an emergency. I was not notified and waited an hour. This was uncalled for. A message should have reached me too.
I've looked into this in our system. First, let me apologise that you were not contacted regarding the time change. Due to circumstances out of our control, the times had to be amended at the last minute, but you should have been contacted. I am confident after speaking to the staff that this will not happen again.
All okay apart from unplanned time changes or times too early or late from request. Also, often a different carer to the rota.
Hello, I will look into the points you have raised and hopefully going forward this will not be an issue.
We feel that the care my father receives from the carers is excellent. They all make him feel well looked after.
Attended to give me my medication because I am partially sighted (twice a day). This month in the hospital with a broken hip, so at present carers come four times a day (the same ones I know).
We've only had 1 carer that we weren't satisfied with and that has been rectified after I complained. The other carers all came up to expectations and we are quite happy with them.
