Very happy with the service from Home Instead. Flexible to suit our needs, and all the carers are very friendly and professional.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I will pass them to the care team. Its a pleasure supporting mum!
I'm very happy with all of the ladies who visit mum. They provide important company and carry out light cleaning tasks to a high standard. Communication is excellent, and the service is always reliable.
Rhiannon thank you for your kind words, helping to support mum and the family has been a pleasure and I know the team look forward to the visits with mum.
Home Instead provided exactly what we needed with three lovely ladies sharing the two weeks overnight care that we had requested.
Mom felt safe but also gained confidence with their careful supervision and caution to safety.
We are really pleased with how things have progressed and Mom is now coping without any further assistance needed.
Although the care is quite expensive, it was exactly what we needed.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience - your kind words truly mean a great deal to us.We're so pleased to hear that the overnight care provided helped your mom feel safe, supported, and more confident during what was understandably a challenging time for her. It's wonderful...
For that support I am eternally greatful ! As it allowed him to stay in his home , which was his dearest wish !
Thank you so much for your beautiful message. Your kind words mean the world to all of us at Home Instead. It was truly a privilege to support your father from July through to his passing in January. Knowing that we were able to bring comfort, companionship, and dignity to his final months is deeply...
An excellent service delivered in a very professional manner. Time was of the essence and Home Instead reacted very quickly but did not compromise on quality. I will use this company again. All the staff that I spoke to/met were very friendly and efficient. Thank you for all your help in what proved to be a very difficult time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words. We're thrilled to hear that you were satisfied with the service we provided, especially during such a challenging time. At Home Instead, we strive to deliver both professionalism and compassion in everything we do, and it's wonderful...
Overall, Home Instead has been consistently accessible and professional. In particular, I was impressed with the matching of the carer to the client; so important for the client to be able to bond with the carer and this happened in my mother-in-law's case - she was 97. The principal carer was outstanding, hitting the right note straight away, often going the extra mile and contributing strongly to her enjoying her final days.
On the occasion I have had to call the office, I was always received with a courteous and helpful response.
I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Home Instead, Newport, Shropshire.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're truly honoured to have been a part of both your mother-in-law's care and your wife's ongoing support. Matching our care professionals to clients is a priority for us, as we know how essential it is to build a meaningful connection. We're...
We could not be more pleased with the care for my father who has late-stage dementia. After only a week of being a client his main carer was admitted to hospital, as his moving and handling is a two-person job we could have been in an impossible situation. Our two designated carers stepped up to support us 3 times a day, they have been so kind and totally professional. When we have contacted the office we are responded to courteously and promptly, the staff have been appropriately trained and signed off. We are so grateful to have such understanding and compassionate carers and wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead, Newport Shropshire.
Thank you for a lovely review of our service. We are extremely pleased to hear that we have been able to provide this support when it has been needed the most. We will ensure that your feedback is passed on to the Care Professionals. Kind Regards Elaine Adshead.
Home Instead were so helpful when we needed help for my mother and father. The caregivers were excellent in both their approach and attention they gave to my parents - for them to stay in their own home was important to us and we were reassured with the kind and efficient service that was provided.
It was a pleasure to be able to support Mum and Dad to remain at home.
Kind Regards.
The care provided was excellent. The carers remained professional at all times whilst building a therapeutic relationship. My mum enjoyed the friendly approach the carers provided and looked forward to their visits. We felt confident and comfortable with the carers. The ability to provide person centred care was excellent, they used initiative to support my mum. For example, understanding her own needs around diet and activities of daily living. This provided a great comfort to me knowing that the care was coming from a place of understanding. We are grateful for the support given to my mum and to us as a family, this is something that we will take with us as a comfort.
It was a pleasure to look after mum and be a support for you as a family.
I will ensure your words are passed on to our wonderful care team.
Kindest Regards

Excellent service with wonderful carers. Very organised with the same team of ladies coming in at agreed times. Should a new member come in they would always be introduced to mum first so at all times she knew who would be coming into her house. Very reliable company and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody who should be looking for care for a loved one.
It was a pleasure to support Mum at home.
Kindest Regards.
I will always be full of praise and gratitude for the care given to my brother by the Home Instead team. Home Instead employ the highest quality of staff and adhere to the highest standards. My brother was treated with the utmost dignity, kindness and respect. The small, regular and well trained team of carefully chosen carers ensured a thorough knowledge of my brother and his specific needs. This resulted in continuity of care, which is vital in the provision of quality and safety, especially in the case of dementia sufferers. My brother trusted them and they did all they could to make him feel happy, comfortable and safe. The office team were always professional and efficient and kept me fully informed at all times. They were a pleasure to deal with and worked hard to achieve the exemplary service and standards that we received. Prior to finding Home Instead, I had used a few other care providers with worrying results. Without doubt, Home Instead is far, far superior in every way.
It was a pleasure to be able to support your brother in such a way that had a positive impact on his life.
He was very well thought of by us all.
I will ensure your kind words are passed on to the team.
Kindest Regards.
Arrangements for home care were carried out quickly and professionally and led to reliable, friendly and welcoming companionship for my wife. Company maintained contact by telephone and newsletters and, of note, invited us to Coronation coffee morning, which coincided with my wife’s birthday, an added bonus.
I am glad that we are able to offer such support to your wife.
It was a pleasure to have you both at our coffee morning and celebrate your wife's birthday.
Kind Regards

The care professionals were fantastic, really made my mum feel relaxed like they were part of the family.
Thankyou for your review, it is lovely to hear that you got on so well with our care professionals. I will ensure you kind words are passed on to them.
Wishing you all the best, Elaine
The carers also allowed me some time off from full time care for her, so helping me to retain some independence.
Overnight stays were very expensive, but a known carer was reassuring for my wife when I was away.
Thank you for your review, I am glad we were able to support both you and your wife and offer reassurance to you.
It has been a pleasure to get to know you both.
Wishing you well.
Kindest Regards
Elaine Adshead
who came here was pleasant, reliable, capable and very welcome. Phone calls were answered pleasantly and efficiently.
Thank you for your review.
It was a pleasure to get to know both of you and take care of Eddy.
Your kind words will be passed on to our care team.

Home Instead have been helping a family friend for a number of months now, particularly in the mornings when my friend needs some help getting dressed. Whenever I have met her carer, they have always been friendly and kind, which has been very reassuring, nothing is too much trouble for them.
I am glad we are able to provide support and reassurance to both yourself and your friend.
Kind Regards
I feel that the carers have a vested interest in the client and they have built up a relationship with my mother in law and as well as personal care, they offer reassurance and companionship.
I particularly like that details of each visit, are recorded on the online portal. This means that I can read the carers notes and see how my mother in law is.
Office staff are helpful when I call with any queries and requests.
The only negative is the minimum call time of one hour per visit. We did put a bedtime call in place but my mother in law felt it was too long, as she didn't want companionship at that time of the evening. This meant that we had to resort to using an alternative care agency that offered more flexibility, for this particular daily visit.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review.
It is a pleasure to hear that we are able to support your mother-in-law in such a positive way.
Although we appreciate that you would like some more flexibility surrounding the minimum call time of one hour, this is a...
Generally very good. Office responsive to special requests.
She was very reluctant to accept the help at first but the team from consultation to care have been amazing!
Not only does it provide us as a full time working family with peace of mind, but Mum now introduces her carers as her friends!
They provide everything Mum needs from companionship to shopping and travel to and from appointments. We add extra visits in when we are away on holidays and the team always ensure mum is cared for by her own team of care professionals.
As a family can't thank the whole team enough for what they do.
Thank you for your kind words and lovely review.
It is a pleasure to hear the great impact the team are having on your Mothers and your life.
Your message will be passed on to our team
Kindest Regards.
We are delighted with our caregiver. She is always positive and cheerful and manages to shower, shave and dress my husband (who has Alzheimer's) with plenty of time left for breakfast before transport arrives to take him to day care. He is always happy to see her. The company take great care in reviewing what is required for the client.

Meet the Team (15)
As a young, newly married father of one, I needed a reliable, flexible job that I could work around my childcare commitments and literally stumbled into the world of care. My first role was as a support worker, helping young adults with Learning Difficulties.
It was a tough role, as I had never done anything like this before, particularly supporting someone who has complex needs; however, I was hooked by the fact that I was helping them enjoy life, in my own small way.
That was over twenty years ago, and in that time, my career progressed. I have worked in residential, mental health, elderly and home care and have honestly seen the good, the bad and the ugly of the care industry. My final role was as Operations Director with a large national organisation. However, I felt that something was missing, and I realised that I hankered after the hands-on, close, personal touch of working directly with clients, seeing the immediate impact that my actions could have on a person's quality of life.
Finding Home Instead Senior Care was like finding a needle in a haystack. Our approach to caring for someone in their own home is so refreshingly different, where people's wishes and desires are at the heart of their care and where we genuinely support clients as if they were our own family, is fantastic.
We are not the largest provider in the area by any means, and quite frankly I don't want us to be, as being able to keep our service personal, and special for each individual client, and providing a rewarding fulfilling job for each of our team members, enables us to maintain our high quality standards and be the best provider in our area, and that is much more important to me.
Welcome to our family, Home Instead Senior Care Telford, Newport, Market Drayton & Bridgnorth.
Jenny's Journey to Home Instead Senior Care
Having worked for many years in marketing and sales for a number of businesses, from large organisations such as Kellogg’s and Nestle to a small local school, I always felt that something was missing. After having my children, I realised that we can make such a big difference to people's lives, often by making small, simple gestures, such as a smile or an act of kindness, that I wanted to do something that genuinely made a lasting difference. While trying to figure out what I wanted to do, Jason introduced me to Home Instead Senior Care, and I have not looked back since.
I am so proud of the fact that we make a difference each and every day, not only to our clients but also to their families, friends and neighbours. It is a real privilege for us to be invited into someone's home, to help care and support them, sometimes during very stressful periods of time, and to make their lives better, in whatever small way that we can.
Our Care Professionals are the most amazing group of people, who constantly surprise me with their ability to put others first, often before their own families and other commitments.
We both love what we do, and if you would like to find out more about how our family, Home Instead Senior Care Telford, Newport, Market Drayton & Bridgnorth, can make your life better, just give us a call.
Since starting as a carer in 2010 for a community care company, my passion for care has grown immensely. I have worked in all areas of the care sector, including community care, independent living, and a care home. I have worked my way through most roles, including supervisor, assistant manager and then manager. I am a very driven person who strives to do the best I can for the clients we care for.
I am very excited about my role here at home instead and feel very proud to work for a company that truly cares and has a great passion for what they do.
Having worked many years in managerial roles, I had the opportunity to change into care, something I have wanted to do for a very long time. I have had 3 years of experience now in the care sector, residential, then when the pandemic came along, I could see the struggles and felt I could help most within the community, and I have never looked back. In my most recent role, my focus was scheduling and supporting out in the field; therefore, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to the Home Instead table.
I have a very cheery disposition, which you will soon hear when I answer the phone. When not at work, I enjoy family time, which is very important to me.
What drew me to Home Instead was the ethos of ‘companionship’ and ‘To us it’s personal. I look forward to working with the Home Instead family and our lovely clients as we continue to grow.
I joined Home Instead because I wanted to work for an excellent care provider that lives its values every day. From the very first day, I’ve seen a genuine commitment to treating every client with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Being part of a team that carefully matches Care Professionals to clients and takes the time to build meaningful, trusted relationships makes my work incredibly rewarding. It’s inspiring to work for an organisation that not only sets high standards but consistently supports its staff to deliver outstanding care, making a real difference in people’s lives every single day.
I joined Home Instead as they came across as having high values and always putting their clients first, and after working for them for 7 weeks now, I can truly say they live up to this. I have worked in care doing various roles for over 35 years, and Home Instead are truly the best and provides 100% care and support to their clients.
I am deeply dedicated to my role in supporting our Care Professionals, recognising that by empowering and guiding them, I am directly contributing to the highest standard of care for our clients. Ensuring that our staff feel confident, valued, and well-equipped allows them to provide compassionate, personalised support, which in turn enhances the quality of life for those we care for.
I take pride in fostering a positive, supportive environment where Care Professionals can thrive, knowing that every bit of encouragement and guidance I provide helps create meaningful, lasting differences in the lives of our clients and their families.
At Home Instead, you can truly feel the positivity that flows through the entire team. This uplifting culture not only inspires us every day but also enables us to deliver the very best service to our clients, ensuring they feel valued, respected, and cared for in the comfort of their own homes. At the same time, it allows us to provide outstanding support to our Care Professionals, helping them grow, feel appreciated, and perform at their highest potential. This positive, collaborative environment fosters strong relationships, meaningful connections, and a shared sense of purpose, making every interaction—whether with clients, families, or colleagues—rewarding and impactful.
I joined Home Instead for the values they hold. This means seeing people as individuals, listening, guiding, enabling, supporting, helping, and caring.
I have been involved in delivering care training over the past 20 years, and I am excited to be involved in the training, development and support of care professionals and their learning journeys, as well as my own.
In the past, I owned my own care company, supporting clients with learning disabilities, autism and clients with brain injuries.
After a short sabbatical, I didn’t want to return to having the responsibility of running a business but wanted to return to delivering training, where my passion lies. I sought to find a company and like-minded people for whom I would be working who shared the same values and ethos that matched my own for supporting clients and the staff who cared for them.
Home Instead is just what I have been looking for, as we work together as a team to help provide quality service and give support and confidence to those who choose to join us as care professionals.
After finishing my A-Levels in psychology, law and history in 2015, I knew that I wasn’t yet ready for university. So while my friends were busy cramming all of their things into suitcases, I decided to apply for an apprenticeship here at Home Instead.
This way, I could gain experience in a working environment and also a qualification in Business Administration at the same time. Having been here since 2015, I have progressed to the role of HR and Compliance Administrator, and I can definitely say that the decision to join the company was the right one, as I have been able to develop existing abilities and learn new skills necessary to succeed in the world of work.
I joined Home Instead as I wanted to work for a home care provider that has an excellent reputation in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to their clients, and provided a supportive and nurturing environment to their Care Professionals.
My care journey began when I was 12, watching my mom take care of my grandad and me, helping the elderly neighbour next door. I started my 1st job in a care home when I was 18, where it honestly didn’t feel like work whatsoever, as I enjoyed being there, and it is here where my passion for care grew. To know I could make a small difference in people's lives to help them live safer, happier and give them a purpose was what I worked for.
During my career path, I switched to domiciliary care and quickly became a senior caregiver and senior team leader, working towards and achieving my QCF levels 2 & 3 and dementia care qualifications. I had a few breaks for my growing family, but always returned to care. When I moved to Telford, I was happy to see a Home Instead office, as I have previously worked for a Home Instead franchise and am familiar with their standards, ethos and values, which I also carry. I have a passion for care and a drive to learn, and I'm looking forward to growing at Home Instead.
I joined Home Instead because its values align closely with my own. From the very beginning, it was clear that this is a company that genuinely cares—not just about the work they do, but about the people they support and the staff who deliver that care. I was drawn to the organisation’s commitment to treating every client with dignity, respect, and compassion, and to creating an environment where Care Professionals are supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.
Working here allows me to be part of a team that makes a real difference in people’s lives every day, and knowing that the organisation lives its values in every interaction makes me proud to contribute my skills and passion to their mission
I joined Home Instead because I wanted to be part of a team that genuinely makes a difference. Here, care isn’t just a job—it’s a commitment to supporting people with compassion, dignity, and respect. I’m inspired by how much the organisation values both its clients and its Care Professionals, creating an environment where everyone feels supported, empowered, and appreciated. Being part of this team allows me to contribute to meaningful, positive experiences for our clients while also helping our staff thrive in their roles.
