However this year things have changed, they now refuse to assist with hospital transfers or assisted visits, the staff appear rushed and come to work ill and there have been mistakes in billing and missed appointments.
My impression is that the staff are dedicated and caring but too few, and the organisational support is lacking.
My mum has received care from Caremark since September 2022 after she had a fall at my house in August 2022. She broke her hip and femur; she also has dementia. She has recovered from her injuries but has been left with a limp. She has care twice a day every day. Mum is still very independent in her home and doesn't require a lot of help from the carers, but I know they will do whatever Mum asks/needs on a visit or what I would ask myself. I live a long way away from Mum, so having that care in place has given me peace of mind that Mum is safe in her own home. They inform me of any concerns; they're patient, kind and compassionate. I would recommend Caremark to anyone. They're like a lifeline for me.
I find the care that I have very good. All the care workers look after me well. I never had carers until last year and I am very impressed. They all come to me on time and I really enjoy seeing them. I feel very safe and feel like they have helped me get better since coming home from hospital. They do everything I need and more.
I started having care from Caremark after being in hospital over Christmas last year. I was nervous about having care after a previous bad experience, however, straight away, all the staff were so kind to me and made me feel at ease. I think so much of all the staff that come and visit me, including the girls in the office. They all make me feel safe and secure and I enjoy their company. They are angels. I see the same staff all the time and have got a really good bond with them now. I am quite anxious at night time and the two carers that come to help me to bed are so patient and caring and really help me feel at ease, I can't speak highly enough of them both. All the staff go above and beyond for me. I would recommend Caremark to anyone!
All the staff were great and happy to help at all times. They provided care with dignity at all times and provided wonderful care to my dad at a very difficult time for him. I would definitely recommend to others.
My mum has been receiving care from Caremark for several months now. They have been very efficient, caring and done an excellent job. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are punctual and if they are running late always call. On my days off looking after my mum, I know she is in safe hands with them
I have been receiving care from Caremark for twelve months, very satisfied with the care I receive. Having rheumatoid arthritis and recovering from a heart valve operation, I need the help, twice daily. The care has helped me to recover slowly and most of the carers are helpful and professional.
My uncle has been having two visits a day from Caremark for a few years now since he was diagnosed with dementia. Since the very beginning, all the staff at Caremark have been professional, compassionate, kind and have all gone out of their way to do the very best for my uncle. Having the care in place has given the family real peace of mind that our family member is safe in his own home and has meant he has not had to go into a care home which he had always said he never wanted. We always see the same carers, so have gotten to know them well over time and they have really gone above and beyond for us which we are so grateful for. They always let us know if they have any concerns and keep in touch regularly with the family. Office staff have also helped us out as a family over the years, taking my uncle to appointments, doing shopping and arranging GP visits when we have not been able to do this ourselves. We are very touched by every kind gesture.
