I am very satisfied with Home Instead Senior Care and their carers. They are always on time and if they are going to be late, they let me know. They are polite and treat me with respect. I have had a difficult time over the last few years with my very long term friend having to go into a care home. One carer was particularly helpful when she found him on the floor after a stroke.

When at almost 93 years of age, I was stricken with a heart problem which restricted my mobility and confined me to my home. I felt mentally shattered, my home became increasingly untidy and very run down. The quality of my life was in free fall. Then, a near miracle occurred. A carer was appointed, who with the strength of her personality, her experience and her work ethic, made my home sparkle with the orderliness which only properly maintained housework can bring about, but to me, the important thing is that I have regained my zest for life and my physical appearance now reflects the joy of a life anew!

From the beginning, we were impressed by Home Instead staff, who were kind, friendly and willing to work with us to ensure my father in laws care was personalised. Communicating with the office was easy and requests for changes or extra help responded to efficiently. Having a small dedicated team caring for my father in law, was just what he needed and accepting carers allowed him to live at home alone for over a year. We found Home Instead via a new recommendation and we have no problems in recommending them to others seeking personalised care for a loved one.

My mother was treated with great care and compassion - with kindness, patience and humour - and even joint singing how good is that my mother would say.

The carers/staff made an immeasurable difference to the quality of our lives - we looked forward to their visits and the support they give us - it will not be forgotten.

My mum was looked after by carers from Home Instead Senior Care for a period of 10 months. During this time she had three falls and broke her hip, and later her kneecap. On the final occasion the carer found mum and stayed with her until the ambulance arrived. Mum has dementia. Mum received the best possible care from the carers at all times, without them she couldn't have spent another year in her home.

My family have always been very involved in the care industry and I have been brought up with an appreciation of the positive effects that good care has on people’s lives. My parents between them have over 65 years’ experience running residential homes and providing support to the elderly, and I really wanted to follow in their footsteps and specialise in providing quality care to senior citizens and those with physical and learning disabilities. Having been hospitalised after an accident some years ago, I required several months of home care and it was during this period that I realised the huge effect well trained, caring, compassionate and considerate carers can have on one’s emotional wellbeing, independence and quality of life. As a result of my experience I ensure that all our CAREGivers are highly trained, compassionate individuals whose focus is on delivering quality, dependable, personalised care to every one of our clients, every single day
