We came to Home Instead when my uncle was living alone in his flat, and becoming less able to cope on his own. The carer that Home Instead provided was just the perfect person to support my uncle. Over the months, his dementia became worse and eventually, my uncle had to move from his flat into a home. The carer continued visiting my uncle on a weekly basis and this contributed greatly to his quality of life.

Can I just say that there is a lady carer who is most caring, helpful, kind and understanding carer that I have ever had experience of. The way she works with my parents is a wonder. She is really a great big part of the family now, and I have to say, I would not know what we would do without her. She is absolutely worth her weight in gold and does so much to keep my parents in the best health, understanding their needs and helping us to guide the family through the difficult diagnoses that have recently been given to both of my parents. It has been a tough time for us all, and with her being a fourth member of the family team that includes me, my sister and brother-in-law we have been able to navigate through the issues of the diagnoses and the resulting practical implications that they have created. She is more than a carer for my parents, she is a friend and confidant, and support to my parent's needs, both practical and personal. An absolute gem!

Home Instead provide and excellent service. My mum's carers take time to sit down and chat with her about things that interest her. It is very reassuring for the family to know that our mother is so well looked after.

Home Instead is very worthwhile they are punctual, they always clean up after themselves and they leave a very tidy kitchen, can't ask for anymore than that. My daughter always comments on how tidy the carers leave the kitchen.

A very good agency. I have been with them 4 years and am very satisfied indeed. They observe all the protocols and both carers and office staff are excellent. Personally outstanding, my carer is kind, caring, effective and flexible. She really meets my needs!

From the beginning, we were impressed by Home Instead staff, who were kind, friendly and willing to work with us to ensure my father in laws care was personalised. Communicating with the office was easy and requests for changes or extra help responded to efficiently. Having a small dedicated team caring for my father in law, was just what he needed and accepting carers allowed him to live at home alone for over a year. We found Home Instead Senior Care (Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich) via a new recommendation and we have no problems in recommending them to others seeking personalised care for a loved one.

When I think back to this time last year & how worried I was that I would never be able to provide adequate care for my mum at home well...I never dreamed that she could be so well cared for by such lovely people.
I really don't know how I would have coped without the wonderful support of the management Both ladies are extremely capable & always seem to do far more that I would ever expect of them. I am incredibly grateful for their kindness & compassion. The care that they provide for mum is more than I could ever hope for.

I think your branch of Home Instead Senior Care (Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich) is wonderful & I'm extremely glad I found you.

My experience has been that they are both professional and caring. On vital element is that the carers remain in place over a long period without constant changes in personnel. Home Instead have provided this. Previous agencies did not.

My wife's carer provides companionship and affection. She is skilled in ways to occupy her and maintain her interest. The carer is professional in her attitudes, tactful in knowing when to take or relinquish control and unfailingly sympathetic. She is respected and liked by me and my adult children. The agency itself is meticulous in its dealings with me and always does what it says it will.

The carers at Home Instead have meant the world to my parents - my father needed help with my mother's care and very reluctantly agreed for a carer. Initially, he was suspicious and upset at the intrusion into his home, but quickly realised what a difference it made to his quality of life.

Over the past three years, my parents' home-care has increased from once a day to 24-hour care. Changes & transitions were handled wonderfully smoothly by Home Instead and from the very start, their main carer has been the most delightful person you could ever have looking after your loved ones:

Each carer brings their own personality into the house and my parents’ faces light up when they see each one walk through the door. I don’t know what we would have done without all the wonderful staff from Home Instead.

I am very satisfied with Home Instead Senior Care and their carers. They are always on time and if they are going to be late, they let me know. They are polite and treat me with respect. I have had a difficult time over the last few years with my very long term friend having to go into a care home. One carer was particularly helpful when she found him on the floor after a stroke.

When at almost 93 years of age, I was stricken with a heart problem which restricted my mobility and confined me to my home. I felt mentally shattered, my home became increasingly untidy and very run down. The quality of my life was in free fall. Then, a near miracle occurred. A carer was appointed, who with the strength of her personality, her experience and her work ethic, made my home sparkle with the orderliness which only properly maintained housework can bring about, but to me, the important thing is that I have regained my zest for life and my physical appearance now reflects the joy of a life anew!

My family have always been very involved in the care industry and I have been brought up with an appreciation of the positive effects that good care has on people’s lives. My parents between them have over 65 years’ experience running residential homes and providing support to the elderly, and I really wanted to follow in their footsteps and specialise in providing quality care to senior citizens and those with physical and learning disabilities. Having been hospitalised after an accident some years ago, I required several months of home care and it was during this period that I realised the huge effect well trained, caring, compassionate and considerate carers can have on one’s emotional wellbeing, independence and quality of life. As a result of my experience I ensure that all our CAREGivers are highly trained, compassionate individuals whose focus is on delivering quality, dependable, personalised care to every one of our clients, every single day
