Overall Experience

We were given a list of care homes to consider. A colleague recommended Jane Care to us. From day one they said "let us take away your worries" and they did just that. I found them very caring, bright and breezy they put a smile on my mum's face even on difficult days. Office staff and management have been very helpful also offering help and advice guiding me through the caring process. I can't fault them.

Overall Experience

Carers came four times per day since August 2015. They were always gentle, cheerful and very caring to my husband and extremely supportive to myself.

Given the traffic difficulties and emergencies when I was kept informed, the carers arrived within 30 minutes of their time slots. We also had a regular team of four carers which was comforting. My husband died on 22/10/2016 aged 99 years. The carers attended his funeral.

We found all of the carers to be kind, attentive and alert to mum's needs. They treated her with dignity at all times. They also treated all visitors and family members kindly and with respect. We trusted them all to give good care to mum at all times, and they gave us peace of mind at this difficult and stressful time.

Overall Experience

The agency provided an excellent service over the first week. Unfortunately, the regular carer suffered an accident at home. The replacement carer was involved in a road traffic accident and was unable to carry out her duties for some time. The agency did it's best to provide me with carers with the original replacement carer was able to return to work.

Unfortunately, whilst the carers arrived the daytime carer could be described as makeshift. My regular evening carer was excellent. When the replacement carer returned on regular duty, things settled down again and she carried out her duties conscientiously.

We are very happy with the level of care. The carers we have are very friendly and helpful. There is nothing too much trouble for them. They are hardworking and we look forward to their visits and their chats.

Thank you for providing such excellent care for my mother during the last weeks of her life. Your staff were professional, kind, caring ladies who did everything they could to make my mothers last days comfortable.

The interaction with our family was always kind and helpful, guiding us when we needed help understanding the events that were occurring.

Lovely ladies all of them, and we can't thank them enough.


PS I have rated 'value for money' as excellent - (because the form insisted I put something) however, our care was supplied by a service provider, so in fact we did not pay directly to Jane Care, which means I have no idea of the cost.

My Mother has been looked after by Jane Care for over a year now, starting off with a visit each weekday to help her get ready in the morning and to ensure that she was ready for the day ahead - this type of personal service that she was given by the carer was 5 star.

As my Mothers condition got worse she spent her last 2 weeks at home, and once again "Jane Care" were there to look after her. The ladies of Jane Care came in 4 times a day to support my Mother and to ensure that she was comfortable in her final days.

Once again I would just like to say thanks "Jane Care" for all that you did to help my Mother to enjoy her final weeks.
