My mother's declining health and greater needs led us to increase Belong at Home visits. The bespoke approach means that a schedule was agreed during a review meeting at my mother's home and with her full consent. The visits to my mother seem to be going really well and doing what they need to do.
The household support tasks mean that her living environment is improved and I do feel that this brings a sense of greater mental wellbeing. The structure means that she's eating an evening meal at a much more sensible and regular time. Prompts about fluid intake and taking tablets are responded to in a positive manner.

She doesn't see these visits as an intrusion but welcomes them, which is brilliant.

My dad started having memory problems about four years ago, and after a short stay in hospital he began receiving visits from council-approved carers. I wasn't happy with the service, so I switched to Belong at Home - and I couldn't be more glad that I did.
The team treat Dad like one of their own, and the care has adapted beautifully as his illness has progressed (he was recently diagnosed with mixed dementia). I can also keep track of his mood, medication, and meals through the app while I'm at work, which gives me real peace of mind.
Most importantly, Dad really enjoys their company. They always take the time to chat with him and even play his favourite music during visits, which makes such a difference.

I honestly don't know what we'd do without Belong at Home, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

My mum enjoys her visits from Belong at Home Carers. She is treated with dignity, she's well cared for they listen and act on her needs as appropriate in a friendly relaxed manner.
It's a welcome break for the family knowing she's in safe hands. Mum loves a chat with them sharing her stories and enjoys hearing about their lives. It's a family joke that the carers make the best omelettes especially Helen.

Thank you ladies for all that you do.

The carers are lovely with me, my family and their dogs!.They do everything needed in a very pleasant manner. They are on time and i look forward to their visits. I would have liked to give five stars but can't because of very small niggles, such as making sure the worktop is clean after preparing food. This in no way affects the appreciation i have for this service and would not wish to have any other.

Staff are caring, friendly and use initiative. I trust them to consider mums needs and to act where necessary. They appear to be well trained. Staff are usually on time and stay for the full allotted time. Occasionally the planned time of visit is changed which doesn't always match mum's needs, but I understand that this may be necessary when attempting to match staff resource with the client jigsaw.

I find the service is excellent, the carers are always on time and look after my wife with a shower and dressing her. She looks forward to them in the morning as they are always pleasant.
She is showered and dressed and the bathroom is always left clean and tidy.

In my opinion terrible, atrocious, appalling, inconsiderate, nosey, insincere, awful, bad mannered, two faced, unprofessional, untidy, poorly trained, in it for the profit, so no way would we recommend due to management.

Mum used Belong at Home Atherton's services for 7 months. She had never had care from none family members before but quickly took to the carers. The service provided was of the highest standard and very professional, but the carers were also very friendly and very empathetic towards Mum, which was greatly appreciated. The service is well-led, and the managers hold care reviews and update regularly with any concerns. They quickly respond to telephone calls and emails. At a care review, the manager immediately stepped in to take Mum to the bathroom even though it was in between care sessions. We stopped using the service because Mum's health deteriorated and she needed to move to a care home.

Belong at Home Atherton team is excellent. I cannot express how fantastic the staff and the management are, nothing is too much trouble for them. Whatever my mum needed they always put her needs first. They are excellent with her dementia and Alzheimer's side effects. They are trained and professional also, they are like extended members of the family. They give all the family and also myself peace of mind that we couldn't wish for anyone else to look after my mum. They always contact myself and brother if Mum ever has or needs anything. I would recommend Belong at Home Atherton to everyone. Thank you for doing a brilliant job.
