Eden Care At Home

Eden Care carers have been looking after my 93-year-old mother for the past 3-4 years, with the care increasing as necessary. I can only speak well of all concerned. The carers are precisely that; the feedback from my mother is that they are very kind and make a huge effort. They are also competent; when my mother inadvertently set fire to the area around the fireplace just as the carer arrived, the latter knew exactly what to do and reacted very responsibly. The management has also been supportive in helping me deal with administrative matters. As I reside abroad, the services offered by Eden Care are much appreciated by both me and my mother. Not the standard I expect from Eden.

Recently we've had greater consistency of carers who treat her as an individual and understand her needs. Our carer is always punctual and provides good care and friendship.

The care service provided by Eden Care has been very good. The carers who come to my home are pleasant and efficient. My one small comment is that the times of arrival are sent to me a week before the workday. They are frequently changed at short notice or without telling me.

Eden Care is doing a great job. I rely on them daily. Sometimes the carer is the only person I see that day, so although I enjoy my cup of coffee, etc. the part I enjoy the most is them having time to sit and chat and have a cuppa with me. I understand it's not always possible. They are so busy they have to be somewhere else before they have left me.

Well trained, friendly, connect with the user. Listen to problems (eg, hearing). Very thorough.

Since being widowed, I have had the services of a single carer who would be difficult to improve upon. She is punctual, conscientious and farsighted for all my requirements. Apart from her domestic duties, she has been instrumental in encouraging me to recover from the depression which was growing as I cared for my wife's dementia. She seems to be totally unfazed by any difficulty.

From my initial call to the first visit was only a few days. Mum just needs a bit of company a couple of afternoons a week. The ladies who visit have a chat and take her up to the home to visit my stepfather. Exactly what we have requested. Thanks.

I have received home care over the last 6 months from various members of the Eden Care at Home. All have been helpful and efficient.

Eden Care have impressed from the outset. They are compassionate and efficient and the whole set up feels reassuringly professional and robust whilst maintaining complete flexibility. My experience so far (5 months) is of an organisation that is eager to deliver the service required by the client, rather than dictate what they think is best. It is a bespoke service that allows flexibility to meet the need and impressively strives to show total respect to the client (however confusing and contrary they may be) and to maintain their dignity and enhance their independence. Perfect.
