Care Givers from Home Instead provided the highest quality of care, friendship and support to my mother for over two years, until she needed residential care. I have found every one of the Care Givers to be intelligent and thoughtful in addressing Mum's needs, always coupled with consistent positivity and good humour. Mum particularly loved the two Care Givers who visited most regularly and questioned whether they were her daughters, such was the level of ease she felt with them. When mum had a few tricky and challenging moments, the home Instead team provided additional support with no notice, and always restored calm. The friendliness, efficiency, advice and support from the central team is also consistently excellent. I can't praise the Home Instead enough, and I recommend the team without reservation.
It was an absolute pleasure to look after your mum. It doesn't seem that long since we were helping her to make cakes and Christmas Cards. I hope she is happy in her new home.
We would like to thank the entire team for their kindness and constant support and wish everyone the best for the future.
Thank you very much - it's been a pleasure to help support your mum.
We cannot praise Home Instead highly enough and feel very fortunate to have found such a great company to look after our mum.
Thanks very much for your kind review. It was a pleasure to be able to help support your mum.
The wealth of knowledge and kind advice available is a comfort during a very difficult time for our family.
The warmth of care and genuine care for our whole household has made us feel less isolated during these times of Covid, and we have been reassured that all working practices are updated as soon as a change is published.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone considering the need for extra care in the home.
We were so impressed with Home Instead. Lovely friendly people, an efficient service, and of paramount importance, my mother enjoyed their visits. Nothing was too much trouble, and those visiting her went the extra mile.
I cannot praise the Home Instead (Ascot, Camberley and Wokingham) office highly enough. They have made it possible for me to continue caring for my mother - 98 years old and suffering from dementia - at home until the last possible moment. She has now moved into residential care, but they have enabled me to exceed all expectations with regard to her care up to this point. Starting with occasional social visits five years ago, and building up to two carers for two visits per day most recently, the team have been responsive and sensitive to our changing needs. The same small team of carers has built a relationship with Mum, and with me, to ensure she has been safe, happy and loved over those five years. It is a measure of how much they really care that the carers have organised impromptu birthday celebrations, brought unsolicited gifts, and are now planning to visit Mum in her care home in their own time.
Thanks for your kind words Jane. It's been a pleasure to support your mum over the years and I'm pleased she was able to come to a couple of our Christmas parties. I hope your mum settles in well in her new home, but it is something of the end of an era - your mum's Caregivers will miss her.
My sister and I would like to thank those involved in Mum’s care, they provided a level of dedication and professionalism that went beyond what we expected.
Thanks. I hope your mum is getting on well in her new home.
Our care provider gives excellent support and care. She is 100% reliable and consistently delivers exactly what is required and more. She is so kind, thoughtful, considerate and always cheerful. She is pro-active and recognises any changes that may need further action. She carries out all personal care tasks with respectful dignity and sensitivity. She is a breath of fresh air, and the family really values her help and support, always delivered with professionalism and a smile.
The care provided for my mother, who suffers from dementia, was excellent and enabled her to stay at home for as long as possible. Communication with the management team and help given was also extremely good. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to others.
Having used two other home care companies prior to Home Instead, I wish that I had used them from the start. They took excellent care of my 94-year-old mother, who suffers from dementia and poor mobility until the time came that she needed 24-hour care. The caregivers were very kind to her and quickly built up a good relationship with her. They acted very professionally at all times. The management were always very quick to respond to queries and were able to increase my mother’s visits immediately when her needs became greater.
Thank you, it was a real pleasure looking after Mum. I hope she's doing well in her new home.
No problems .
After a serious fall last summer, my elderly Mother needed a care package put in place, to allow her to stay in her own home. At a difficult and emotional time, I cannot thank Home Instead enough, for their help in making this happen so quickly and with ease. The regular staff that cared for her 3 times a day, built a bond with my Mum, that helped to make her feel safe and secure. Many thanks to you all at Home Instead.
Thank you for your kind words, Elise. Your mum was a pleasure to look after - I hope she's happy in her new home.
An efficient service providing what we require at present.
I found Home Instead as part of an internet search. I had never heard of the organisation. I needed a part-time carer for my mother who lived over 100 miles away from me. From the start, they had a very caring approach but they also behaved very professionally. It was clear that their management structure worked, and they never made any claims that they were unable to achieve. The carer allocated to my mother was clearly someone to whom she was able to relate, and also someone who could help her lead a more satisfactory existence.
Thanks very much Martin - I'm glad your mum is settling down in her new home
Home Instead Senior Care in Bagshot provided very professional and sensitive care to my 90+ parents for two years. Their caregivers helped keep mum and dad in good spirits, as well as dealing with all the domestic jobs they could no longer manage due to failing health. I would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone in a similar position.
Thanks very much, Randle. I hope your parents are happy in their new home.
Very helpful - a nice easy man who is well liked by all of the family.
Thank you very much for your kind comments. Your husband was a real gentleman.
Satisfactory.
Our Caregiver was developing a good relationship with your husband. If you need us again, please call and we'll try to arrange for the same Caregiver to visit again.
I cannot thank Home Instead enough for my mother's carer. While pretty fit physically and living alone, my mother has a mild cognitive disorder and no longer drives. Before employing her carer, my mother was adamant that she did not need anyone to regularly visit her. I insisted on one visit per week. It took only a week or two for my mother to connect with the carer. That visit has become the highlight of her week. The carer is so kind, so perceptive and so respectful. My mother has a great sense of humour and the carer makes every visit enjoyable for her, according to her abilities. She takes my mother on trips to pick up food, go to the post office or bank, pick up prescriptions, get a haircut, and (my mother's favourite) visit plant nurseries. I live at a distance from my mother, visiting every month, so getting regular feedback from the company, via the carer, has been so important to me since the carer picks up quite subtle changes in behaviour or physical issues.
Thank you very much for your comments Wendy. The carer really enjoys visiting your mum!
The support given by all the carers was excellent. My husband was treated with respect and given encouragement when he lacked confidence. Their timekeeping was very reliable and they were more than willing to accommodate changes when requested. On the occasion, we had to use the emergency service. Home Instead were, once again, extremely helpful and efficient.
All in all an excellent service that we would not hesitate to recommend.
Thank you very much for your comments. The caregivers all enjoyed visiting your husband - he is a real gentleman. I hope he settles well into his new home.
Both my carers were very competent and extremely caring. Always friendly and many smiles. Listened to my stories and laughed at my jokes. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.
Thank you very much for your feedback, both our CareGivers thoroughly enjoyed visiting you. It was a pleasure to be able to help.

Meet the Team (10)
I joined Home Instead in 2017, and I am very passionate about delivering person-centred and relationship-led care to clients. I see our role in the office as providing a service to clients, but also supporting our care professionals to be the best they can be.
I started in care due to the flexibility with young children, but over time, I have progressed to GM and Group Registered Manager. I'm grateful for the opportunities I have been given over the past years. I LOVE my job, I love the different tasks, I love the variety.
I started my career as a Care Professional myself, so I know first-hand what great care looks and feels like. Now, as a Care Manager, I love the balance of supporting our Care Professionals out in the field while still being able to connect with clients personally.
Knowing we're making a real difference to someone's life is what drives me. I love the balance of supporting our Care Professionals out in the field while staying closely connected to the clients we care for. That's what makes this job so rewarding.
Behind every smooth visit is a lot of careful planning. I love making sure our clients see the same familiar faces at consistent times, coordinating everything so our visits run seamlessly. But it's the conversations with clients along the way that make it so rewarding.
My focus is on making sure every new Care Professional feels genuinely supported from day one. A positive, encouraging environment makes all the difference, and I love seeing our team grow in confidence.
I started as a Care Professional and have never lost that connection to the hands-on side of care. I love being out in the field, supporting our Care Professionals and spending time with clients, and I take real pride in making sure every visit is as good as it can be.
Having spent years training new Care Professionals, I know exactly what it takes to thrive in this role. As our recruiter, I love finding the right people and knowing from experience just how rewarding the journey ahead of them will be.
I'm often the first person a family speaks to, and I never take that lightly. My background is in care, so I understand what families are going through, and I'm here to help them find the right support.
As Recruitment Manager at Home Instead, I attract, select and welcome compassionate people who share our commitment to outstanding care. I work to build a team of dedicated Care Professionals who make a real difference to clients and their families.
