I cannot rate Home Instead highly enough. They have made some very difficult days with the passing of my mum so much better and stepped in at the last minute when we needed help the most. Given how much my parents valued the regular visits in the many months before, we think this is the best agency we could have found. Lovely people - every one - great customer service, and then to step in and help with so little warning - we cannot thank you all enough!

Home Instead have been an indispensable part of my life for 3 years. Initially helping my VERY reluctant Mum with every day chores to eventually just providing companionship. Dementia took away Mum's independence and when she had to move into a Care Home we kept up the Care Pro visits as Mum enjoyed seeing a familiar face. Mum was ALWAYS pleased to see two particular carers, and I very much appreciated the one to one support they offered. From the very beginning, the initial creation of a care plan, the unscheduled visits to hospital while I was on holiday, the professionalism of a staff member in scheduling appropriate visiting times and the endless videos Mum's 'girls' have watched with her, all I can say is Thank You....I couldn't have done it without you.

We are very grateful to Home Instead for their care and support that our mum has received over the past year. She has always been a strongly independent lady and the thought of people coming into her home filled her with dread. She finally realised that she needed support when everyday tasks were becoming increasingly difficult for her. From the first introduction by the care manager, who explained all available options and created a health care plan, to the daily visits from the care pros, the service has been professional and person centred. Mum has a great rapport with all her 'ladies' and looks forward to their visits, including trips out to coffee shops and support to medical appointments and the hairdresser. This had brought such relief to my sister and I, knowing that mum is content, well cared for and treated with dignity, as we both live some distance away. We are always kept informed by the team of any issues or concerns and know that there is always someone to speak to.

Home Instead have been helping us for over 2 years with the ever-changing care needs of my parents, who suffered a serious heart attack and stroke just weeks apart. From the start, I was struck by the warmth, professionalism and adaptability of the team. They acted quickly and put bespoke care in place without delay. Over time, they've become a reassuring presence through hospital stays, emergencies and ongoing care-always responsive and flexible, even arranging live-in care at very short notice. The staff are consistently kind, respectful and cheerful, and treat my parents with genuine care and compassion. Their positivity has lifted our spirits during some very difficult times. Special thanks to the staff and one in particular who came with little notice to stay with my father. You've made such a difference and we're so grateful.

My siblings and I have been very impressed with and grateful for the support that the whole Home Instead team have provided for our mother over the last two years. They were professional, knowledgeable, proactive and supportive throughout the period they provided care for our mother. They were very responsive when the care provided for Mum needed to be increased, and incredibly helpful dealing with doctors, pharmacists and others in the overall care system. The carer who led our relationship, was excellent throughout, and the care pros who looked after Mum day to day did so with great care and attention.

From the first meeting with the care team to set up a care plan for my father who was diagnosed with rapid onset Alzheimer's/Dementia they have been amazing. My father's carers have been so professional and caring in guiding my father on this journey. Living overseas certainly has its challenges when helping an elderly parent. They have been wonderful in keeping me informed on everything and also guiding me when I have not been familiar with how some facets of the health care system work in the UK.

We have been using Home Instead in Ascot for about 6 months now and cannot rate them highly enough. It was a big step for us to step back a little and allow people to help us care for our parents. Home Instead and the carer listened to us and came up with a package of care for my parents who worked for us. Every single carer has gone over and above for both mum and dad and are so kind and caring. When Dad was rushed to hospital, Home Instead stepped in with overnight carers for Mum and has been so flexible and supportive. Thank you so much, we literally couldn't have survived without your help and Mum loves her daily visits, it means when my sister and I come in we get to enjoy quality time with Mum and feel so less stressed knowing she has help when we are not there.

Home Instead have been providing care services for my elderly uncle for over 2 years and they have been nothing other than exemplary from the outset. The genuine warmth and affection of the carers is impressive, the level of personal interaction is high and my uncle is convinced that they are just friends coming to visit. They play draughts, listen to him read sketches or jokes from his extensive collection of comedy books and genuinely appear to enjoy their time with him, all whilst preparing his evening meal, supervising his bath, laying out fresh clothes for the morning and attending to his personal needs. We would highly commend them to anyone seeking an alternative to residential care for an elderly relative.

Huge thanks to all the team at Home Instead. Mum's memory has been deteriorating and she was forgetting if she'd taken her medication (particularly eyedrops for glaucoma-now pressures back to normal due to carers administration) and not really eating or taking enough fluids. She has little insight into her difficulties and is adamant she wants to stay at home. The support of Home Instead has facilitated her staying at home and reduced the anxiety of my sister and me. The carer notes completed after each visit are wonderful and reassuring. Communication between the office, carers and us is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Carers are willing to take mum to appointments. It is also wonderful to be able to share with the carers concerns and for their feedback. Thank you to everyone.

Carers are carefully matched to individual which is great for relationship building. Carers attentive and supportive, nothing is too much trouble. They are observant and when normal duties completed will proactively provide additional home care support. Can not praise dedication to my mother more. A truly excellent service.

In short, the care provided to my mother and her family members has enabled my mother to stay in her own home for much longer time than expected, whilst being both happy and safe.

Home Instead is a very professional caregiver company in every sense of the word. They looked after my mother for four years. My husband's carer has made life worth living over the past few months. She arrives every morning full of life, cheerful, energetic and does a wonderful job looking after my husband's needs. She is hardworking and cleans the shower, makes the beds and just makes life easier for me. My husband has dementia and it can be soul-destroying looking after him, but she makes it all bearable. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful carer.

Home Instead provided an adaptable and supportive care package for my Mother in the face of the tremendous health challenges we faced over the last couple of years. Care staff were punctual, tidy and showed great empathy for Mother’s specific medical and mental health needs, often going the extra mile to keep her happy. I thoroughly recommend their services.
