The carers are friendly and it is good when we have the ones we have got to know well they can assess how my husband is as they know him. He also likes people he knows as it is less traumatic for him.

We have had such a positive experience with Bluebird care following my mother's hip break. An amazing reliable service, they provided excellent adaptable well-motivated carers. Our care assistants always aim to support our customers and their families to the best of their abilities, we are very pleased that they did stay after mums fall to chat to you about it. We know how valuable this must have been for you.
We are very happy with the ladies who come in each evening to help Mum with her personal care. They are all kind and efficient and really care for Mum. On a couple of occasions, they have arrived early but normally they arrive within 10 minutes of their start time and have never missed a visit. I’m contacted regularly by email from the office to check that everything is ok or to ask me for more toiletries etc. Their daily visits really have given me back my evenings with my family.

With my father having had an operation and these strange lockdown Covid-19 times, it has been so useful to have Bluebird Care North Hampshire & West Berkshire available to check in on him after his return home from the hospital. We live one and a half hours away and were unable to provide the care required for such a prolonged post-op period. This was where Bluebird Care North Hampshire & West Berkshire came to the rescue, they were able to start his care swiftly and were highly amenable to any changes in timings or number of daily visits we wanted to make. They also suggested a nighttime visit, despite me being there as this gave me a much-needed chance to have a period of unbroken sleep. The carers were always courteous, kind and understanding. The office staff were similarly kind, just what was needed in a stressful time. We send our grateful thanks for all you did.

It has been an extremely stressful and anxious time with all the restrictions due to Covid and not being able to visit and support my parents. My father has also been recovering from a hospital appointment which has been difficult. Thank you very much to the Bluebird office and caring staff for all their help which has been invaluable.

I have found Bluebird to be quite exceptional in the quality of the care that they offer. They really care for and look after the client. Nothing is too much trouble. The management is very responsive and always sympathetic and understanding of the client's needs 24hrs a day throughout the year.

Tamsin’s career moved into Dementia Healthcare in 2017 after gaining an NVQ3 in Dementia Care studies during the pandemic lockdowns, in her previous role as a Dementia Adviser in Oxfordshire. Before this, she had worked for many years as a CIPD-qualified Human Resources Generalist, working in Education/Care settings. Tamsin has always been a people-focused person, so the move into person-centred Dementia Care has been a natural progression as well as somewhat of a passion. Tamsin is delighted to be able to continue using her specialist experience, skills and dementia knowledge, with our customers affected by dementia. She sees supporting and advising their family members as an extremely important side of her role in this new position with Bluebird Care in West Berkshire and North Hampshire.
