When we first met, it was so emotional and lovely that we were able to provide care and support for you within 24 hours, so you didn't need to go into a care home. Since then, it has been so rewarding for us to be part of helping to keep your independence at home with the support of your family. It has been a pleasure supporting Mum for nearly 6-months now, she is such a genuine and lovely lady, and your own help and support has been vital to ensuring that she can remain at home receiving the care and support she needs. The care assistants all love to visit and have a cuppa and a chat. We have really enjoyed seeing Mum at our Care Hub, attending many of our events which always makes her smile.

Tamsin’s career moved into Dementia Healthcare in 2017 after gaining an NVQ3 in Dementia Care studies during the pandemic lockdowns, in her previous role as a Dementia Adviser in Oxfordshire. Before this, she had worked for many years as a CIPD-qualified Human Resources Generalist, working in Education/Care settings. Tamsin has always been a people-focussed person so the move into person-centred Dementia Care has been a natural progression as well as somewhat of a passion. Tamsin is delighted to be able to continue using her specialist experience, skills and dementia knowledge, with our customers affected by dementia. She sees supporting and advising their family members as an extremely important side of her role in this new position with Bluebird Care in West Berkshire and North Hampshire.
