The services provided by CQC were excellent in all respects. The carers went out of their way to treat mum with kindness, friendliness, dignity and respect at all times.
The office staff were professional, always available and communication was perfect.

The whole team made mums last few months in her own home possible in the best of ways. We can't thank them enough and would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you C.Q.C.

My husband has mixed dementia and not always the easiest person to be with but all the ladies who worked with him were professional at all times and were consistently patient with him whilst respecting his dignity. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done, they definitely improved the quality of his life. I have no hesitation in recommending them to other families needing support and assistance. All the office staff have been really helpful and supportive to me which is essential as the last thing I needed was more stress.

First class. Highly recommended. Communication and day to day support has been fantastic. Mum has not been easy to care for as her dementia is now quite advanced but they have always kept to a small and consistent staff team which has been so important. Staff are very able, genuinely caring and have a very good understanding of mum's needs and what is required.
The manager is so supportive. He has always really listened and shown tremendous insight into our particular and changing circumstances; and mum's condition and what is needed. He has worked really hard to ensure an effective partnership with me and an effective care plan for mum.

The agency are genuinely committed to a high quality, responsive and effective care and I believe they have achieved this for us and have lived up to their name. They are invaluable allies and have enabled us to care for mum at home despite her difficulties. I would not swap them for anyone else and we have tried/experienced others.

My parents were struggling to stay together in their own home, my father had terminal cancer and my mother was diagnosed with mixed dementia. I lived 400 miles away from their home. Cumbria Quality Care came 16 times a week and assisted with cooking, cleaning and shopping. Everyone associated with the company treated my parents with sensitivity, respect and all aspects of care provided was of an incredibly high standard. I cannot praise them highly enough.

I would summarise my care as adequate. The majority of my carers are very good. However, in some cases the agreed timetable hasn't been kept to (very late in some cases).

- Don't seem to come exactly on time, I do understand that there are a lot of people involved.
- Shower: for 30 mins is very good value for money.
- Some phone calls from us to them, not always passed on, messages missed, but very apologetic.

- Mum acknowledges the fact that not everyone gels, mum says "it's a very good job on the whole".

Carers are always extremely helpful, interested and engaging. Their weak spot is making beds. They are probably used to duvets but I am old fashioned using sheets and blankets.

Very good service in keeping our home in as good condition as possible. All domestic washing, cleaning and hovering is to a high standard. Staff are well trained and are receptive to suggestions of improvement to their service provided. Companionship and shopping are very good and things required are usually obtained. I am personally happy with all of the staff.
