His Care team and Manager are friendly, approachable, and efficient. Always eager to assist with any issues that may arise. For me personally, the online facility to read the carer's daily notes is essential. It gives me peace of mind, and enables me to keep a check on my Sibling's health and wellbeing.
Hi, many thanks for leaving such a detailed review of the service over the past 5 years. The dedicated care team are pleased that you have the stability that is so important.
Cannot fault Right at Home. They have been absolutely brilliant with the care and help they have provided over the last few years. They have all gone above and beyond to help keep the lady at home. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
Thank you for your kind words; it's been a pleasure providing care. Kindest regards from all at Right at Home.
I found all your staff very helpful, obliging and attentive. They were also very punctual so I knew exactly when to expect them. Nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to have them in the house. I will certainly use your company again.

Having required care for over 20 years, I can say with confidence that Right at Home are the best. I have found their carers provide a professional and compassionate service. Once here, there will be no need to look anywhere else!
Thank you for the feedback and taking the time to do it. We cannot believe it is almost 9 years that we have helped support you to live an independent life. Looking forward to many more years.
Found the carers to be kind, helpful and capable. Nothing too much trouble and their presence and happy smiles are of great comfort. Would have great difficulty managing without them.
Thank you for your kind words, we are very pleased to see the positive impact their attention is having.
Thank you to Right at Home for the care and attention you provide to support my mum at home. The lady who provides care and companion support for my mum once a week gets the approach and care level absolutely spot on. I am also grateful for the immediate attention to contacting Mum and/or me when attendance has to be altered, and to the ladies who have to step in at short notice. Mum has never been left without support. Everyone is extremely caring, gentle and efficient and I cannot express enough, how much this helps us. It just leaves me to say I am very glad I chose Right at Home to provide support for my mum. Thank you.
It is a pleasure to assist your mum to stay where she wants to be.
We then met a day later at my aunt's to sort details and consent from my aunt.
All very precise and very appreciated last min support to the required care arranged and all regulatory parts in place.
Recommended A+ service.
Thank you very much for your kind words, I will be sure to pass them on to the team. It is always a pleasure to know that we are having such a positive impact on our clients and their loved ones.

All the carers are very friendly and caring. My Mum finds them all helpful and willing to do anything she asks for help with.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, it is reassuring to know that our CareGivers are making a positive impact for your mum.
It was always understood that my care would be relatively short term. Nothing was too much trouble and when I wanted my care tweaked this was never any problem. The care workers always arrived on time and were so friendly and caring. I am quite sad not to have them coming, but they have certainly bolstered my confidence.
Thank you for your kind words, we were very happy to help you to regain your confidence, and are pleased that you were so happy with your care team.
Thank you isn't a big enough word to express how my mum has benefitted from her early morning and bedtime support visits from the Right At Home carers. They have been professional, kind, thoughtful and friendly. Mum will miss them very much when she moves into a nursing home.
Thank you for taking the time to write the review. It means a lot to the team that we are able to help your mum. I will pass on your comments to her team.
I have found that Right at Home have been very responsive to the changing needs of my father. They have acted swiftly to provide an increased level of care when required. Each carer works to develop a good relationship with my dad. The communication has been great - letting the family know when something unexpected occurs. It's very reassuring to know that we can rely upon the support that my dad is given by Right at Home and that it is of a standard that, at the moment, is enabling him to remain in his own home.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it is really lovely to see that your father has a good relationship with his care team. It is a pleasure to work with you to enable him to stay at home.
I look after my aunt from 150 miles away and needed somebody on the spot to take care of details. I gave Right at Home a list of the things we needed them to check on and this has been achieved with sensitivity by the carer, who quickly established a rapport with my aunt, being aware of her need to still feel in control. The management has been extremely helpful in arranging a carer to accompany my aunt to her many appointments, sometimes with last-minute changes. I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of the service.
Thank you for your review, it is a pleasure to assist your aunt, and nice to know it makes a positive difference to her.
I’ve been with Right at Home for a number of years now and have always found them to be a reliable and trustworthy care company, staffed by individuals who epitomise the title of carer. During this last unique and alarming year we’ve all been going through, it’s been even more important that someone I know and who knows me will be coming to help me with kindness, compassion and a smile (even though it’s hidden behind a mask!).
Thank you for your kind words, Sally, it is a pleasure to support you.
We have been using Right at Home (Derby) for the past few months for my dad. They carry out a variety of tasks on each visit, such as cooking, ironing and companionship. These tasks, which I requested, were discussed at an initial meeting to ensure the care given to my dad meets his needs. If I felt some tasks needed to be changed, this was amended on my dads care plan promptly. It is excellent, I have log in details to see how each visit has been, which the caregiver writes up. My dad has commented on a number of occasions how he enjoys the caregiver's company and the food they cook for him. It has definitely given myself and my siblings peace of mind knowing my dad is being looked after on each visit and getting the correct care he needs. I would definitely recommend this care company as the caregivers and coordinators have been excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review, it is lovely to read that your dad enjoys the company of his team and is having a positive impact upon him.
I've been very happy with the care that my father has been given and I feel valued as a customer of Right at Home. Every interaction I have with the carers has been very positive and I feel that they genuinely care about my father and his health, which is excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review, Beckie. His carers have loved helping your dad remain independent, especially during these challenging times.
All your carers have been dedicated and professional. They have good judgement of when to lighten the mood and when more gravitas is required. Nothing is too much trouble and no one ever said they needed to hurry off to their next visit before they had properly looked after my mum that day. They all truly care - which is apparent in all their decisions, suggestions and actions. I could not be more grateful for their support over these last few months. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this Martin. It was a pleasure looking after your mum, and I will pass on your kind words to her team.

John started Right at Home Derby in 2012 after a long and successful career with an industry-leading family-run business.
Taking up the opportunity to spend time in his community, John was elected as a local councillor in Willington.
It was during a community event that John came across an elderly local parishioner who was reliant on care from a contracted provider. The parishioner was looking for help with getting a reliable service provider who would turn up on time, stay for the full time allocated and have some consistency with the care worker they were receiving.
Whilst trying to help the parishioners with their simple request, John realised that their case was not unique and that there were a lot of people who would benefit from a more personalised and quality service.
Working alongside a dedicated care team, he is passionate about delivering quality care to the people of Derbyshire.
John is now an active member promoting choice and personalisation within Derbyshire and Staffordshire and sits on the management committee of Derby Care Association which works to provide support to local providers and to improve the social care sector in Derby.
John is a recognised Dementia Friends and is training to be a local champion. John also supports Royal Derby Hospitals Dementia Action Group and works with local support group Making Space to help support people within Derby and Staffordshire.
The goal of Right at Home (Derby) is simple:
To add years to the lives of your loved ones, but as importantly, to add quality and life to those years.
In practice, this means:
Travelling in our time and not within the customer's allocated time.
Supplying the same friendly home care assistant on each call.
Each call will ideally last for at least 1 hour.
Each call is built on outcome-based activities to improve the quality of life of the individual.
Away from work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and being a permanent taxi driver to his 5 children.

Jo thrives in the positive and collaborative environment at Right at Home Derby. With over seven years of service and continual professional growth, she remains hands-on in the community, performing care calls and maintaining her direct connection with clients, a role she find deeply rewarding.

Jodie began managing the company’s social media accounts, which opened up exciting opportunities to engage with our community in new ways.
By January 2024, Jodie fully transitioned from the recruitment department to her current role as the Digital and Community Marketing Partner for Right at Home Derby and East Staffordshire.
