I enjoy seeing other people, it's nice for someone to talk to.
The carers are all friendly and attend visits on a regular period, we visit local shops.
All my carers are excellent. Always smart, polite, pleasant, and will help me when needed.
An excellent service, I and my brother are reassured that Mum is well cared for and her needs are met. I have recommended Home Instead to others.
I am very well looked after by both my carers and look forward to their company as well as the help with household tasks and the occasional visits to the supermarket. I know that I could ask either of them to give me help if I needed it. What is there not to be very pleased about and thankful for?
We chose Home Instead as it advertises that you get the same carers every visit but sadly this wasn't the case for us. We had 14 different carers over a 15-month period and weren't told previously they were changing. Our mother is quiet and no trouble and just needed a meal doing and a wash each visit but there seemed to be a huge breakdown in communication from what you requested to what was actually done. The staff who initially came to do a care plan left the job and it seemed that the information wasn't passed on to new staff. It was almost 12 months until they offered a bowl of water to wash mother. It was mentioned at the regular reviews but it still went on not being done. Although it is a good care provider this is just our experience. The carers are all lovely and you can trust them all within your home which is very reassuring. Just needs better communication.
We can confirm your mum had 8 Care Professionals during her time with us. Four of these sadly left HI to...
Carers are very good with my wife and treat her with dignity.
Excellent service, Dad gets on well with carers.
Carers are very caring and I like to see them come. They have a chat with me which helps when I am on my own.
Our only concern is that the carers are not qualified/trained to administer eye drops and that this is taking some time to arrange.
The three managers I have met are pleasant and helpful and respond promptly. (New client 13th March 2023).
She is very happy.
I have no concerns about her care with yourselves.
Especially washing, putting it on airer to dry, it is a great help. Apart from the housework I also have a "what" probably tell a joke and also hope they can tell me one! The ladies that come are all nice company.
Very happy with the caregivers.
Mum is extremely happy with the service provided. Especially her regular carer.
I have generally been very impressed with the care mum has received. Everyone treats mum with respect and dignity. We now have consistent caregivers who know mum well and are well trained in supporting her Alzheimers.
I find all the carers extremely kind, supportive and helpful. They always arrive on time and seem to fit so many jobs into the time they have available. Thank you.
My caregiver comes once a fortnight to help me cook a tea and learn to do some tidying up.
My mother is happier and calmer since we started her visits from Home Instead. All the carers have been professional and sensitive to her needs. My mother looks forward to the visits and thinks of the staff as friends.
You must be SO proud of having the 3 lovely ladies who visit my mum to be working for yourselves. They are kind, caring, considerate, and nothing seems too much trouble and most importantly, my mum's 'likes' were attained before the commencement of your service so they can engage my mum to relevant happenings. Thank you once again. So glad we found you.
All the carers who attended my wife were extremely pleasant and made their visits so enjoyable as possible for my wife. People working in the office were very pleasant to deal with and gave good advice when needed. All in all, a very good company to deal with.
