We have used several care providers and we found your service to be the best. We are happy to recommend your firm. My father did enjoy the carers’ visits. I liked the use of the list of chores on the app which were ticked off as work was done.
Thank you for your very kind words. We always aim to provide the best service and I'm glad we were able to do so for your father. He will be missed by us all and we all wish him the very best for the future.
Ensuring that elderly relatives have the care they need is a huge challenge for families, if you are looking for peace of mind then I highly recommend Right at Home. Thank you Right at Home.
Thank you very much for your lovely review, Patricia. We always strive to provide this level of service and I'm glad it made such a difference to you, your parents and your family. I will pass your positive words on to all involved in your parent's care and I know everyone will appreciate your recognition.
I can't speak highly enough of the fantastic and professional care my elderly parents received from the Right at Home team. The carers are truly outstanding, compassionate people who went above and beyond to make sure my mum and dad were looked after, reassured and safe in their home. They were always on time, often staying longer and showed great kindness and respect for their well-being and dignity. Their skill was such a huge reassurance for me, knowing they were in safe hands and that the carers would always let me know if there were any worries. Without them, I don't know how we have survived as a family and they enabled Mum and Dad to stay at home for long as was possible. The office team were always so understanding and professional, accommodating their changing needs and a pleasure to deal with. My mum was extremely reticent to accept care, but their gentle approach was spot on and she absolutely loved them coming. 'Thank you' is not enough!
Thank you for your very kind words, Sarah. I am glad we were able to do this because it is exactly what we always aim to achieve. We all loved visiting your mum and dad and we wish them the very best for the future.
Right at Home have given my mother superb care. She is consulted about what she would like to eat and helped to sit outside when possible. All big pluses when she wishes to maintain her independence. The rapport she has built up with the staff is lovely as she tends to see the same people week in week out. A very big plus and all too often not the case. When you do not live nearby it's comforting to know she is well cared for. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your very kind words. They mean a great deal and will passed on to all involved with your mother's care.
Kind, caring and reliable, twice a day and very friendly - makes him laugh.
It is so nice to be able to bring a bit of humour to work with us.
Right at Home has provided support for my husband for the preceding five months and continues to do so. From the first assessment carried out in our own home the care he has been given has been of the top quality. The carers who look after him are always extremely efficient, professional and very caring. They are always bright and cheerful and carry out their duties with the brightest of smiles and nothing is too much for them. On the occasions I need to contact the office (often to request extra sessions) the office staff are always very welcoming and deal with my requests very quickly, pleasantly and efficiently.
Thank you for your very kind words. We all love coming to see you and your husband at home and I'm really glad that you find both our carers and the office team efficient and professional. I will be sure to pass on your comments to all involved.
We’ve been extremely happy with the service provided by Right at Home. The carers are kind and caring, and they’ve always delivered mums care with dignity and respect. The office staff are professional and deal with any queries promptly and efficiently. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
Thank you for your supportive and kind review, Kathryn. This is exactly the kind of service we always aim to provide.
The carers were warm and caring towards him, highly skilled professionals, who communicated exceptionally well, as did the lovely office team of girls.
Right at home is an excellent all round service, which I cannot praise enough and would most certainly recommend to anyone 100%.
Thank you for your lovely review. We all really appreciate it and I will ensure that everyone involved is made aware of the incredibly positive things you've said. Thank you also for recognising the professionalism of our carers. We are fortunate to have such a superb team.
Without exception, the service Mum and her family have received from Right at Home has been excellent. The quality of care is outstanding, the carers are not just genuinely warm and caring human beings but also highly-skilled professionals who are both proactive in solving problems (either relating to the person or their property), while calm and capable in the event of an emergency. The organisation of care is exemplary. Right at Home are flexible in accommodating continual adjustments (requested by visiting family members) but meticulous in ensuring that Mum's care is never compromised. The communication is exceptional, the Out-of-Hours number is always staffed by someone who can actually assist, every week Mum receives written confirmation of who her carers will be and when they will call, and whenever family get in touch we always get an immediate and helpful reply. Right at Home are fundamental not just to Mum's safety and care but her well-being and happiness.
Thank you for this incredibly generous review. The level of service you describe is exactly what we aim to provide for every client and I am heartened to hear that both your Mum and the wider family have had their quality of life enhanced by what we do. Your words mean a great deal to us and I will ensure that they are passed on to the whole of the team involved with your Mum's care and support.
All I can ever say to them is thank you.
Thank you for your incredibly kind review. This is exactly what we aim for with our care and we hope to continue to do so well into the future.
My wife was severely disabled and the care, kindness and time that all the team at Right at Home gave were always excellent, nothing was ever too much trouble.
I had cared for my wife for over 20 years, so know what caring means, good and sadly bad, through Right at Home always managed the rise to the challenges with a smile.
As my wife's carer, often unforeseen emergencies would crop up where extra help was needed, just a phone call and a reassuring voice saying "that's not a problem" was just wonderful.
We were never let down over the many years by Right at Home, respect, dignity and great care always with a smile.
Thank you for your kind and generous review, Colin. Over six years, I am glad we were able to always provide reassurance to you and support to your wife that encapsulated our approach that nothing was ever was a problem. You remain, of course, always welcome to pop into the office to see us.
Right at Home - Bournemouth and Poole was recommended to me by an acquaintance. We have been with them for a few years now. My mother has Alzheimer’s dementia and lives in her own house alone. She is adamant she would like to stay at home for as long as possible. I live fourty miles away, so cannot pop in each day. My mother now needs carers three times a day. They have been marvelous. I feel they really do care about my mother, they look after and support her so very well. I could not manage to keep mum at home without them. They are lovely and caring ladies. It definitely comes across that this is more than just a job to them. They do really care about their clients. I have got to know a lot of them over the years and view them now as friends. The office staff are friendly and very helpful. If ever I have had to contact the office, my enquiry has been dealt with immediately. I would strongly recommend this agency.
I was thrown into looking for a care provider overnight for not one, but both my parents. Dad became seriously ill and I had to act fast as he had been Mum's carer up to that point. I did my best and chose a company, who were not professional and the staff were sloppy. The day I gave them notice I lost poor Dad, in retrospect looking back on it I deeply regret Dad receiving such poor quality service in his final months. I chose another company who thought it was acceptable to leave Mum's front door unlocked on more than one occasion, disgusting. I very quickly chopped them in, in fact, good old Right At Home were able to step up to the mark instantly, which was fantastic. I cannot praise these people enough. If you are looking for care as though you were giving it yourself, then look no further. Right At Home are a vital part of my family now looking after Mum as though she were their own, exactly as it should be. Recommend them to anyone and I do so.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this very generous review. This is exactly what we aim to do for all our clients and I'm so glad we've been able to support your Mum in this way. I will pass your kind words onto all our carers who will be thrilled to hear them.
Excellent all round. No concerns or complaints.
Thank you for taking the time to give us such a supportive review, Peter.
My dad has vascular dementia and has been struggling increasingly with independent living. After ringing around 2-3 agencies, Right at Home were the only ones to give an immediate response and show an enthusiasm to get involved. The home assessment that followed was thorough and helped build a rapport with my father from the get-go. What impressed me most was the level of flexibility and breadth of services available. Having signed up, Right at Home has been first class liaising seamlessly with the agencies already involved with my father's care. As I live some distance away, the use of a mobile app has been extremely useful in helping me assess from afar any issues arising with the carers and my father's condition as there is a report made after each visit. What sets this agency apart, I believe is that they really do care about their clients. Not a tick box agency. The carers are extremely competent and have responded highly professionally to a couple of dramas where they have gone the extra mile.
Thank you for your really thorough, positive and supportive review, Ian. We aim to look after all our clients in this way. I always want to avoid complacency but I hope we can continue to support your Dad and deal successfully with the unexpected. I know that all who are involved in your Dad's care will appreciate your words and I will pass them on.
When my husband was very ill, we used Right at Home and they were excellent. The carers were punctual, efficient, polite and very helpful. I had covid19 post-op, fatigue, and the carers were properly equipped to help me during my time with the virus. All protocols were observed, and again a friendly and professional attitude was there at all times. One is always given times when the carer will be with you, and on the rare occasions that the maybe a few minutes late, you are informed. An excellent service, I cannot fault them.
Thank you for your really supportive words, Diana. They mean a lot to us and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to come and see you again.
Thank you.
I am so glad we could help your mother stay at home, and that we were able to help you to stay in touch despite the coronavirus restrictions. Your words mean a great deal, and we will pass them on to all carers involved in your mother's care.
We relocated from another county and had a relationship with a care agency previously for 10 years. It was nerve-wracking in the summer finding an agency that met our needs. My father has very complex communication needs he is profoundly deaf and does not speak. Right At Home Bournemouth have been amazing, the initial set up was done via email and telephone then in person which reassured me. Everything we requested or required they were able to accommodate. I was almost waiting for something to go wrong. The time came for everything to fall into place and as they say the proof of the pudding is in the eating. What a delightful pudding it was. We continue to have person-centred care at the heart of everything they do for us. I am a trained nurse so sorry for using jargon. It was very hard for me to find someone who could do it just as well as I do. Right At Home are also very receptive to feedback. They have all of their paperwork done digitally. I have access to this. Great work! Thank you.
Thank you very much for your well informed and kind words, Dom. It means a great deal to all of us that we can be 'a delightful pudding' for you and your family. We're so glad we can make a difference and that you have been able to access successfully our online care plans and reports.
Words are simply inadequate to express just how wonderful Right at Home ( Bournemouth ) and their carers have been caring for my mother over the past 5 years. Not only are they extremely professional but their care and compassion has been no less than outstanding, nothing is ever too much trouble and they have always gone "extra MILES" to be of service. The trust I have in them is absolutely unconditional and I regard them as an extension of our family.
Thank you for this lovely review. We are all so glad that we were able to make a difference.
I feel so fortunate to have found Right at Home for the care of my mother over the past year and a half. The carers will go above and beyond, and seem to offer genuine care. My mother seems to have developed a good rapport with many of them and enjoys their company and humour. Being out of the area makes it difficult for me to deal with any crisis that inevitably occurs, but they have always stepped in and dealt with matters promptly, efficiently and professionally when such problems have arisen. This has removed a huge burden of worry and provided great reassurance. They are always easy and pleasant to communicate with and have shown great flexibility and initiative when required. Although I haven't met each and every one of the carers involved, those that I have, without exception, have been excellent.
Thank you for your kind and comprehensive review of what we do. I'll make sure your comments are passed on to all involved in your mother's care.

Meet the Team (1)
Right from the launch of Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole in September 2012, Andrew was driven by a determination to develop a service that would support clients as he would want to be supported himself in similar circumstances. The Right at Home team takes the time and trouble to select a close-knit team, recruiting only those people whose dedication to delivering compassionate and reliable care matches their own.
Andrew is acutely aware that families need the highest levels of reassurance that their loved one’s quality of life is not only being maintained but actually being improved. Work schedules are arranged so that Right at Home carers have time for their clients. As Andrew says, “The high-quality service that characterises Right at Home will enhance our clients’ day-to-day living and give peace of mind to their dependants because our carers are punctual, consistent and do not rush the service they provide.” Andrew opened his business after seventeen years of commissioned military service. The qualities of selfless commitment, integrity and respect for others that the British Army develops in its leaders are precisely the qualities needed for his role in this new venture. Andrew lives in Bournemouth and enjoys a happy family life with his wife, young daughter, two cats and a Maltipoo called Charlie. Previously, he immersed himself in the local community by taking on voluntary work both with the Royal Voluntary Society (formerly the WRVS but now including men) delivering library books to the housebound and with the Friends of Christchurch Hospital helping people find their way around the hospital whilst hoping not to get lost himself! Although he no longer undertakes these roles, he remains active with the Alzheimer’s Society and the Dementia Action Alliance. Andrew finds his voluntary work invaluable in keeping him in touch with what older people and those who have to depend on others for help really want and need.
During the pandemic, Andrew took on the role of chair of the Dorset Home Care Providers Association and in this role was able to advise the local authority and local NHS on measures to support both carers and those receiving care across the county.
