So happy I chose Bluebird. Carers were so well trained. Looked after my husband for 5 months. I never doubted that my husband was in good hands. Kind & considerate, not only to my husband but to me too. Phoned when he went into the hospice to see if I was Ok. Also checked on me after he passed away.

As a package Bluebird care offer good value for money, the carers are also very flexible and helpful, my mother can rely on them to provide support and care when she needs them, when required they are always willing and able to provide support.

Although the office staff are always very pleasant it is the carers that make the difference to Bluebirds. My mum loves them. Unfortunately the admin side lets bluebirds down. Lack of rotas, such varied timing, which we are not always advised of up front. Changes constantly being made, staff that are
never sure where they are going. All this is known by them and they are working on improving things. They couldn't even get the new payment system up and running correctly. All staff are very nice but being nice does not help my mums anxiety. That said the carers are so nice and invaluable to her.

The care my parents get is exceptionally good from all the carers. I have nothing but praise for them.
Also, the office staff are brilliant. They provide me with essential support; nothing is too much trouble.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird Care.

I have used Bluebird Care for 12 years, for personal care. They have always been highly professional, extremely competent and friendly. The carers usually arrive on time, and if they have been delayed for any reason, they usually call me to let me know.
Bluebird Care are probably not the cheapest
care company out there, but they provide a high quality service and I have been very satisfied. I would certainly recommend them.

Excellent service. The carers my mum had and I worked together and the experience for myself and mum was very stress-free.
I would leave instructions every week and the carers would always follow and give feedback. The communication between myself and the carers was fantastic.

My mother-in-law has found the ladies to be caring, friendly and and they always do what she asks them to do. She has built up a good relationship with the carers and is happy to be in a routine that allows her to stay at home, enjoying a chat while they help her. She was especially pleased to be chosen
as a Bluebird Sparkle recently and had tea and cakes with her young carer. Bluebird Care has, where possible for consistency, arranged for the same small team of ladies to give reliable care and support. It has given me great peace of mind knowing she is visited each day, enabling her to continue to live independently. Bluebird Care has been in regular contact with me to ensure all my mother-in-law's needs are being met and I would gladly recommend them.

Bluebird Care provided my mum support from December 2023 until her death in May 2024. She was fiercely independent and reluctant to accept help. Her carers respected Mum's wish to remain independent but by offering support when needed, gained her trust. The team kept me fully informed of any concerns
and remained with Mum when waiting for an ambulance. I have no hesitation recommending Bluebird Care.

Bluebird Care stepped in at short notice to help out when my dad became ill and it became too difficult to do all the caring ourselves. They really were a lifeline for us. We have found them reliable, kind and supportive. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them and they are always jolly and we

Providing care and assistance to my ex-husband was a priority, now retired I was able to help my children daily with hospital discharge for their father. However, I could not do duty alone and sought the expertise of Bluebird ladies. They provided a safe welcoming package through the week, and always
cheerful, reliable, caring and ready to accommodate. Thank you to all concerned who cared for an elderly gentleman with cancer.

My dad had a long spell in hospital and needed home care. We were able to set this up very quickly with Bluebird and found it really easy to communicate with them. Dad liked that the carers were local and that there was some consistency in who came. It really helped him to build trust. When the time
came to move into a care home, Bluebird staff were really supportive. We were very grateful for the care they gave Dad.

Bluebird Care looked after my brother for about sixteen months and always did a good job. The staff were friendly and very competent and treated my brother with respect at all times. In all the time he was looked after by Bluebird, there were never any problems.

We used Bluebird carers for my mother's care for two years so that she could stay in her own home. Initially, every other day, extended into every day.
We had consistency of care from an excellent carer who my mother built up a good routine with and on her days off and holidays some other very pleasant
carers filled in.
Mum was happy with the support she received and it gave me peace of mind knowing that she was being assisted every morning to do the things that she could no longer do independently.
The service and staff were very efficient and professional and I was impressed with the regular communication and assessment that they provided in order to update and change any of my mother's needs.

I have had no problems with my carers they have all been very helpful and polite. They always do what I asked them to do for me. They have respect for my property and they always ask if I am alright and we have a little chat before they do the work.

I needed morning care after hospital surgery. Bluebird Care came highly recommended from a variety of sources and they were able to accommodate my requirements from day one. This turned out to be an excellent choice as the staff, both at the coal face and in the back office, attended to all my needs
in a professional and caring way, always bringing a smile with them each time they visited. A job well done!

I joined Bluebird Care Swale in August 2021 as a Care Assistant, with no prior experience in the sector. I quickly developed a strong passion for care and progressed into an On-Call Assistant role by December 2021.
In September 2022, I transitioned into the office as a Support Supervisor, supporting new carers as they began their careers and taking on the responsibility of Manager on Call. I was later promoted to Lead Customer Support Supervisor, where I continued to focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Now, as Director of Care, I am proud to lead a dedicated team committed to excellence. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, supporting the wellbeing of our staff and promoting a positive workplace culture.
I am passionate about upholding the highest standards of care and proud to be part of a service that truly makes a difference.

I started working for Bluebird Care Swale in 2018 as a care assistant. This was completely new to me, but I absolutely loved my role. Every day was different, and knowing that I was making a difference to people’s lives made me realise I had chosen the right career path for me.


My goal at the time was to become part of the Swale Office Team so that I could be involved in speaking with professionals, supervising and working my way up through the company. I started off as a care supervisor in 2019, to then changed my role in 2021 to Care Coordinator, which I am still very much enjoying now, ensuring that all our customers are receiving visits on their required days and times. My role as a coordinator is often challenging but enjoyable.


I have recently been promoted to Deputy Head of Care, which I am very grateful for. I have worked hard to be where I am now, and I am proud to work for such a great team who all work hard to ensure our customers are being provided with the best care.

Amy joined Bluebird Care (Medway) in March 2015 as a Care Assistant. Her constant good conduct, devotion to customers and commitment to her caring role secured her promotion in February 2017 to Care Mentor and just recently, at the end of March 2018, Amy gained a further promotion to Support Supervisor and works in the office for three days per week.


Amy was shortlisted for a Bluebird Care national award in 2017. She even went through to the finals, having won Carer of the Year for the South East region. Well done Amy!


From November 2019, Amy's role as Support Supervisor changed to Training Supervisor, with her having the sole responsibility for training new Care Workers in both the Medway area and the Swale area.

My background has involved a few different experiences. I have previously worked at the West Ham United First Team as a sports scientist from 2019 to 2021! Following that, I worked in a start-up company as an operational lead and technology consultant. My team and I built the company's presence in the local community whilst focusing on how to run our day-to-day operations as efficiently as possible to benefit our staff. Following this, I took on a very high-pressure role as a lead recruitment consultant for a fast-growing company in London, where we doubled our headcount in 6 months.
