Bluebird Care Swale provides a great service to my mum. I can rely on them turning up to provide the care that my mum needs and the caring staff are always friendly and treat my mum with respect.
A very understanding and caring company and most helpful.
My mother has dementia and all the staff she has had have been caring and treated her with dignity. They have done all that has been agreed between myself and Bluebird for the care of my mother. I am extremely happy with the care she is receiving. Also if I have any queries the office and management staff have always had the answer and stored my problem.
Bluebird Care Swale went above and beyond to help us, and get my husband the care and equipment he needed. The office ladies were so kind and took care of everything. The carers we had attend the calls were lovely and so helpful and understanding. It really helps during these difficult times to have help and support. Thank you so much!

Meet the Team (7)
In September 2022, I transitioned into the office as a Support Supervisor, supporting new carers as they began their careers and taking on the responsibility of Manager on Call. I was later promoted to Lead Customer Support Supervisor, where I continued to focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Now, as Director of Care, I am proud to lead a dedicated team committed to excellence. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, supporting the wellbeing of our staff and promoting a positive workplace culture.
I am passionate about upholding the highest standards of care and proud to be part of a service that truly makes a difference.
I started working for Bluebird Care Swale in 2018 as a care assistant. This was completely new to me, but I absolutely loved my role. Every day was different, and knowing that I was making a difference to people’s lives made me realise I had chosen the right career path for me.
My goal at the time was to become part of the Swale Office Team so that I could be involved in speaking with professionals, supervising and working my way up through the company. I started off as a care supervisor in 2019, to then changed my role in 2021 to Care Coordinator, which I am still very much enjoying now, ensuring that all our customers are receiving visits on their required days and times. My role as a coordinator is often challenging but enjoyable.
I have recently been promoted to Deputy Head of Care, which I am very grateful for. I have worked hard to be where I am now, and I am proud to work for such a great team who all work hard to ensure our customers are being provided with the best care.
Amy joined Bluebird Care (Medway) in March 2015 as a Care Assistant. Her constant good conduct, devotion to customers and commitment to her caring role secured her promotion in February 2017 to Care Mentor and just recently, at the end of March 2018, Amy gained a further promotion to Support Supervisor and works in the office for three days per week.
Amy was shortlisted for a Bluebird Care national award in 2017. She even went through to the finals, having won Carer of the Year for the South East region. Well done Amy!
From November 2019, Amy's role as Support Supervisor changed to Training Supervisor, with her having the sole responsibility for training new Care Workers in both the Medway area and the Swale area.
I joined Bluebird Care Swale as a Care Assistant in 2022.
I really enjoy my role as a carer and helping to make a difference in people's lives.
In June 2024, I took on the role of Field Care Supervisor. This role entails assisting the office with mentoring and supporting the carers
I’ve been a care worker with Bluebird for over 4 years, the job fell in my lap but feel that I have found my niche, I find the job thoroughly rewarding and look forward to seeing the people I care for.
I am also an I Care Ambassador for Bluebird Care Swale, where I attend meetings and group chats to share my knowledge about my role as a Care Assistant
Hi, I’m Jordan Byrne, the proud owner of Bluebird Care Swale! I studied management at the London School of Economics and spent some time on the MBA program at Yale. Before getting into homecare, I worked in finance in the City of London and across Europe. But what has always driven me is making a real difference in people’s lives.
My decision to lead this homecare agency is personal. Having experienced the need for care within my own family, I understand firsthand the impact it can have—not only on those receiving care but also on their loved ones. Too often, we forget the strain that falls on family members, who give so much of themselves to ensure their relatives are looked after. This understanding motivates me every day.
There is an infectious belief among our staff, and within the local community, that we truly have the best carers in the area. Therefore, I have always seen that my main role is to support the team so they can focus on doing what they do best—delivering exceptional care to you and your loved ones. It’s my job to make sure they have everything they need to make your journey easier, and to make it the best experience possible.
I don’t take the responsibility of running this company lightly. I know how important this service is, and I’m dedicated to ensuring that you can trust us every step of the way. You can count on me and my team to provide the care and attention you deserve. We and I will not let you down.
My background has involved a few different experiences. I have previously worked at the West Ham United First Team as a sports scientist from 2019 to 2021! Following that, I worked in a start-up company as an operational lead and technology consultant. My team and I built the company's presence in the local community whilst focusing on how to run our day-to-day operations as efficiently as possible to benefit our staff. Following this, I took on a very high-pressure role as a lead recruitment consultant for a fast-growing company in London, where we doubled our headcount in 6 months.
I am so excited to be part of the Bluebird Care family. The work that everyone does here is so impactful to the community and I am looking forward to meeting everyone who is a part of this amazing company and hearing and being a part of all about the great work that everyone does day to day.
