My Mum has been receiving care from Farrell for over 12 months now. We have recently increased her care visits and she is now needing help with personal care. She has found it difficult to accept help but the carers are all wonderful and so kind and respectful with her.
If we ever have concerns or need advice the staff at Farrell are always so caring and helpful.

We certainly wouldn't hesitate in recommending Farrell as care providers.

The standard of care delivered by Farrell Healthcare is above and beyond. Nothing is to much trouble for them. The office is easy to contact, and phone answered promptly. Every single carer that comes to mum is kind and caring. I am kept up to date with how mum was after every visit. The carers will hoover wash cook, basically most jobs if it benefits mum. Finding Farrell Healthcare has given myself and family peace of mind. We know mum is in very save and caring hands.

Overall Experience

Mum was looked after by Farrell for 3 years, she had leukaemia and vascular dementia. The care received was of a high standard. This basically allowed her to stay in her own home for as long as possible. All the carers have been great but one or two went above and beyond their roles. Management and office team have been helpful when rescheduling visits and fitting things in, along with chasing various things on mums behalf, pharmacy/doctors etc.

One carer in particular was assigned to mum regularly, she, week in, week out made sure mum had what she needed from shopping to newspapers, clothes to medication. The level of care shown by her was truly fantastic. One member of the team had the unfortunate experience of finding mum on the floor more than once and with the help of the office to reschedule everything, stayed with mum until family or paramedics arrived. All this and more was very much appreciated, thank you.

My 95-year-old mother has been with Farrell Healthcare for just 5 weeks for daily personal care and weekly shopping trips. All the carers have been wonderful. So professional, helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they look after my mother with friendliness and kindness. I would also like to mention the man in the office. He seems to be in charge of the rota and does everything he can to meet our requests. He is always approachable and helpful and comes across as really friendly.

Thank you to the whole Team for making the transition from the previous care company so seamless. I can really recommend Farrell Healthcare. Thank you all.

My mum has now been with Farrell Healthcare for over 5 years. Since day one they have provided her with the best of care. The staff are caring, respectful, punctual and flexible. I feel she is in very safe hands. The Farrell team are also very proactive and looking at how care can be improved. They review her care programme with me on a regular basis and keep her notes and task list up to date and relevant. Last year, through their actions, my mum's care has been increased to give her a slower start to the day which also ensures she is always accompanied in the shower. It's made a real difference to her and means I don't have to worry about her showering alone.

I would give Farrell Healthcare my strongest recommendation for anyone looking for care for a relative.

I feel that the service Farrell Care offer is good.
Carers are professional, friendly and thorough in their duties.
Commitment to their job is commendable.

The only point I would like to raise is the procedure for booking in and out of house - for all Carers - and a change to this process would be welcomed, I am sure, by Carers and Clients alike, thus saving valuable time.

Thank you for taking time to do this review, the carers have to scan in and out of their visits to show us that they have been and to complete their tasks and notes. In using this system, clients and relatives can access their care plans, rotas and notes.

Farrell Healthcare Carers are always welcome at No 28. Even when the weather is inclement and blowing a gale, they arrive on the doorstep with smiles and commitment to do the job in hand. The proof of their caring help and expertise is the reason I have never had an incident or cause for complaint and am hopeful this relationship will continue. Many, many thanks to you all for your hard work and friendship.

Overall Experience
My lovely mum was sadly diagnosed with mixed dementia, and whilst she still believes she can live fully independently, sadly this is no longer a viable option. It was obvious she was struggling with medication, cooking and getting out and about. Whilst she has a good support network of family, we all work full time and we found that it was chaotic trying to manage all her needs.

We approached the team at Farrell for help and worked with them to help us manage Mum's care and it has been the best decision. It has made a huge difference to all our lives and literally taken away all the stress. The whole team are wonderful, very caring and patient and also great fun. The care Mum gets is excellent and professional and we now see them as part of the family. I know Mum is in great hands, it also gives us more time to spend making memories with her.
