Bluebird Care is respectful of its clients. It tries to find the best solutions and is quite flexible when it comes to practical arrangements. The carers are helpful. I feel supported by them and by the staff of the company.

Overall Experience
I found Bluebird to be extremely helpful when I made contact with them in mid-December to discuss the possibility of a live-in carer for my friend who was about to be discharged from hospital. The arrangements were made and worked very smoothly even though the discharge eventually happened late on Christmas Eve.

They have been very professional in all their dealings and transparent regarding the costs and role of the carer. I could not have hoped for a better care provider in what can be a very difficult situation and would not hesitate to highly recommend them.

Overall Experience

Bluebird has provided outstanding care and support for our mother since 2018. Without their caring attention to her personal needs, health and well being, she would not have been able to remain in her own home to the age of 92. Over the years, as her requirements changed, they flexed and adapted to the changing brief, often at short notice. Always there to assist when needed, supporting us as a family and with my mother’s dignity and well being at the heart of any decisions. We would not hesitate in recommending the care team at Westminster; they were nothing short of outstanding.

This company Bluebird is incredible. Our mother 91 had the most brilliant time with Bluebird carers. Every day they enlivened her life, attended to her every need and most of all made her feel safe. When things got difficult and it became obvious that mum needed more nursing care they reassured her and one Bluebird carer stayed with her until 1.30 in the morning until the paramedics came. Myself and my sister absolutely knew that ‘mum’ was cared for and safe and they allowed mum to stay in her flat until it was no longer possible. Mum loves her Bluebird carers and misses them all. Thank you, Bluebird you are amazing.

Can't express enough how grateful we are to the team at Bluebird Care (Westminster), from CEO to admin team and the wonderful carers. They should be very proud of the work they do. We were at our wit's end with a previous care provider, and the difference between the two was like night and day. We urgently needed to get some adequate care to replace the agency that went before, and the response from Bluebird from the moment we made an enquiry was considerate, empathetic and professional. They contacted us at the weekend, an assessment was booked within days and wonderfully talented carers in place by the Friday. Our only regret was not finding Bluebird sooner. Sadly we weren't aware just how fast my father's health would decline, but the kindness, care, professionalism and support provided while they were involved was wonderful. Even on the day my father passed away, they worked tirelessly on arrangements to have carers on the ground to support Palliative Care. Outstanding service.

Bluebird has been caring for my Mother who has advanced dementia for the past two years, initially for daycare which then progressed to a full live-in package. The service has been essential in supporting my Mother and our families’ needs. We have been particularly impressed with our Care Manager, who always goes the extra mile in ensuring the very best care and outcomes for my mother. His help and support have been vital in ensuring the best possible outcomes for her and matching suitable carers to meet my mother’s requirements. The service has been responsive and professional; carers are well supported and trained and the care plan is updated efficiently to reflect changing needs. The service is a vital and valuable support for us.

Overall Experience

The team has been excellent at looking after my neighbour. Often going beyond the normal requirements to find his favourite cereal or help with medical issues. I no longer have to worry about him so this is a huge weight off my shoulders.

Overall Experience

I visited a friend last Saturday with a couple of compatriots of his, as we were very concerned about his welfare as his health is now so troubling. We were all pleasantly surprised at how well cared for and how happy he was. Thanks to Bluebird Care Westminister , particularly the Customer Service Manager, whose caring nature and attention to our friend's needs, has made him a firm favourite. Peter Slough

Peter’s first experience of arranging care was fraught and riddled with anxiety. “Finding care at short notice and trying to work with companies with no customer service ethos was frustrating. That’s when I thought there must be a better way!” Fast forward to 2023 and with over a decade of industry experience, Peter owns and oversees triple CQC Outstanding Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea.

After university he worked for an NGO in New Delhi, using his law degree to change government policy and improve lives. This passion for transformative change permeates his operation of Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea. “We are changing lives for the better, providing local residents with the opportunity to create their very best in-home support structure, delivered by Bluebirds. Requiring care and support can make one feel quite vulnerable. Our aim is to make choosing care an empowering moment, one that unlocks positive outcomes with the ultimate goal of remaining safe and happy at home.”

With his first foray into arranging care for a family member ending in disappointment, Peter notes, “Our most important ethos is to provide professional care that keeps each customer at the heart of their service… care that we would be happy for our own families to receive. Nicola Bowditch

Nicola started her career in care over 10 years ago as a care assistant and a volunteer having looked after her grandparents. This experience helped him realise her passion for caring for others and making a real difference in people's lives.

Nicola joined us in 2011 and has worked for us as a Care Assistant, Coordinator, Supervisor, Deputy Care Manager, Operations Manager and Registered Manager. In that time she has gained considerable experience in the key functions within Bluebird Care and recently gained her NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
