Our experience with Bluebird care has been for both my dad and mum over a few years initially after dad was discharged from hospital after surgery in 2015 and then more recently to assist with his morning and bedtime routines. Mum recently lost her confidence after a fall in the shower and Bluebird stepped in to help rebuild her confidence and support her morning and evening routines. The team at Bluebird from the office based team who are skilled in assessing the needs of the clients to the carers who carry out the tasks on a daily basis they are all very passionate about what they do. We are so grateful to the team at Bluebird care for their compassion, respect and willingness to listen and change things to suit the individuals they are supporting. Both my parents built very special relationships with some members of the team at Bluebird care. We very much appreciate of the support they gave us as a family too. Thank you
Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and heartfelt review. We are truly pleased to hear about the support provided to both your mum and dad over the years, from post-surgery care through to helping rebuild confidence and maintain daily routines. It is especially...
The carers were professionally friendly and helpful. They would listen and act on what I needed support with and provided support in keeping the house clean whilst I was recovering. I highly recommend Bluebird Care.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience.
We're delighted to hear that you felt well supported following your hip surgery. It's great to know that Jo and Irene were able to provide clear guidance from the outset and help put your mind at ease...
Being able to see the care notes in the app after each visit was very reassuring, and communication with the management team was always accessible, friendly, caring and efficient.
They may be more expensive than some other providers, but the quality of care they deliver is excellent, so you do get value for money.
A hearfelt thanks to all at Bluebird - you made all our lives easier.
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We are delighted that we could support your uncle and your family over the years, especially with the reassurance provided through our visits and app updates. Our carers and office team take great pride in...
My Mum had live in carers from Bluebird Care for 2 and half years. The care she recieved was exceptional. Every carer had Mum's best interests to heart. They all formed a bond with Mum. The way Bluebird Care organised everything took a lot of the pressure off us as Mum's family. We knew Mum was in safe hands and being look after to highest standard, it meant we could once again be a family and not carers. I would hole hearted recommend Bluebird Care to look after your loved ones.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind and thoughtful review. We are truly delighted to hear that your mum's live-in care experience with us was exceptional and that our team could provide support that allowed your family to enjoy quality time together. It's wonderful to know that...
The Bluebird ladies are more than simply carers, they become friends and at the hardest time of life they are invaluable. The support, care, compassion and empathy they offered both my Step Mum, Dad and us as a family was incredible. This is a very special group of ladies.
We thank them all for being on the journey with us and have nothing but praise for them all.
Thank you from us all.
Thank you for sharing such a deeply moving review. We are truly honoured to have supported your family during these profoundly important times. It means so much to hear that our carers were able to provide not only care but friendship, compassion, and comfort when it was needed most....
A few years ago Bluebird provided exceptional care at home for my Mother who suffered from dementia, when my father was unable to manage himself - they were very accommodating and he was able to adjust the frequency of visits as her needs changed. More recently they assisted my Mother's live-in carer three times per day, enabling her to remain at home until she was admitted to hospital. During this time they highlighted any concerns immediately and dealt with them promptly. They cared for my Mother at the end of her life with kindness and compassion, which was a huge comfort to all the family knowing that she was receiving the best possible care.
Thank you, Robert, for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. We are truly honoured to have supported your mother and family over the years.
Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss, and thank you again for trusting us to care for your mother.
Warm Regards,
Bluebird Care Oxford
They have a flexible approach to their care packages which tailors it to the needs of the patients, and all the carers are lovely.
Thank you so much

Sadly, after a spell in the hospital, the time has now come for him to need more care than can be offered at home, so he is moving to a care home. He'll miss them, but it will free up some time for someone else to benefit from the Bluebird services.
We really appreciate the detailed 5-star review of our home care services in Oxford.
We wish your uncle all the very best, and should you ever need anything else our team are here to support you.
Warm Regards,
Bluebird Care Oxford
The Bluebird carers have been very kind to my mother, highlighting that increased care was needed, to management and 7 day (2 visits a day) is now in place. This gives peace of mind to my mother and us. I cannot fault the care that is provided.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a great review.
We are very happy that we have been able to provide the excellent care that your mother needs.
If you need anything else, please do let the team know.
Warm Regards,
Bluebird Care Oxford
I can not recommend Bluebird care more highly, I have only had care from them since April but am so glad that they are my care provider. Not only do they care about the personal care they support me with, which has been excellent but they also care about me as a whole person. I suffer with my mental health and have been in a bad depressive state for a few months now and Bluebird care have supported me totally from my carers to management. Phoning, texting and personal visits checking that I am okay. If you are looking for care I don't think that you could do better than employing Bluebird to take care of your needs.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We love receiving a positive review; please feel free to reach out if there's ever anything more we can do for you.
All the best,

My mum has dementia and diabetes and has eyesight issues. I can't recommend them enough for the work and support they do. Very grateful to have had them. So thankful.

My mum has had Bluebird Care for 6 months and they have been polite and respectful during this time. Their app is really helpful. They have been charged with giving mum her evening medication and have been very reliable in this task.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so glad to hear that Bluebird Care has been a reliable support for your mum over the past six months. It's wonderful to know that our team has been polite, respectful, and dependable, especially with such an important task as managing her evening...
Would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback which I will share with the teams. We are very happy that our support was so impactful in such a difficult time. Our teams are so passionate about making a difference and providing person-centred care. All the very best, Peter Slough; Director
All Bluebird Care carers were kind and helpful to my parents. They worked very hard all the time they were at the house. It was easy to contact the office, even at weekends. One small criticism is that carers often had to be shown how to work basic appliances. Perhaps more training could be given in this area.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We all learned a lot from your father; he was a very intelligent man full of many life stories and once we had gained your mother's trust, we had fun in the most unusual of circumstances! It was our pleasure to care for your parents and both are...
The care that my wife had during April and the beginning of May was first-class. They were kind and considerate and gave excellent care throughout whilst maintaining a cheerful smile and attitude towards us both.
Thank you for your lovely review, Alan, although we only knew you both for a short time, I'm so glad the Bluebird carers made a positive impact and were able to support you both in different ways. Take care and best wishes.
My aunt was always happy and the excellent care she received meant that she was able to remain in her own home, with her cat, which was really important to my aunt. The carers knew her well, treated her as an individual, and always kept her best interests at the centre of everything they did.
Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review. I will pass your comments on to the team personally as it really does mean a lot to them to hear this. We knew your aunt very well and took pride in caring for her and her lovely cat. It was a privilege getting to know her and to assist...
We were lucky enough to have Bluebird arrange my Mum’s care during the last eighteen months of her life. She was a very independent woman, so the idea of a carer was at first difficult for her to entertain. But the care she received from Bluebird was great. As a family we felt totally supported and that our darling mum was always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Bluebird spent time and thought matching her with the right carer, and her respite care was also top-notch. As a company Bluebird is great to deal with, nothing is too much trouble for them, and you always get a swift and very personable response if you have a problem or query. We feel grateful that Bluebird flew in to look after our beloved mum at this important chapter of her life.”
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review. Feedback on our service is always appreciated and we are pleased that your experience of Bluebird Care Oxford, South and West Oxfordshire met your expectations. It was a pleasure to look after your mum, she will be remembered fondly by the live-in care team.
We have always found the staff to be kind and helpful and the carers are generally very good.
They do their best to keep Mum happy, cared for and well.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are always grateful to our existing customers and their families for leaving a review whilst still using our services. The last two years have been our pleasure.
We have used Bluebird Care for a year now. The organisation has helped bring stability to our parent's home and the live-in help coupled with the domiciliary care means we can increase and decrease the care as the needs of my parents change. The management of the carers themselves and the interaction of the managers with my parents (and ourselves) was very good at the start and has since tailed off, with one of the managers, which my parents particularly liked, leaving and that post does not seem to have been replaced. The live-in carer my parents had for the first year was new to Bluebird and was ok but there were enough issues that it was clear for a number of months that a change of carer was needed - it took time to get a change as the company is small so there is not the pool of carers to choose from. However, a new carer has now started and it's going well. Some of the domiciliary carers are brilliant and my parents have loved it when they have covered the live-in carer holidays.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, it is always good to receive feedback from current customers and their family members. I am pleased that your parents are satisfied with their new carer. Although it did take time to do this, it reiterates the importance of selecting the right...

As the owner of three Bluebird Care offices across London and the South West, Tim can’t imagine working in any other industry. “It’s an unbeatable feeling, being involved in a local business that changes lives. Spotting the Richmond Park deer has become a favourite pastime of Tim’s young family, as has feeding the ducks on Barnes Pond.
Peter’s first experience of arranging care was fraught and riddled with anxiety. “Finding care at short notice and trying to work with companies with no customer service ethos was frustrating. That’s when I thought there must be a better way!” Fast forward to 2023, and with over a decade of industry experience, Peter owns and oversees triple CQC Outstanding Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea.
After university, he worked for an NGO in New Delhi, using his law degree to change government policy and improve lives. This passion for transformative change permeates his operation of Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea. “We are changing lives for the better, providing local residents with the opportunity to create their very best in-home support structure, delivered by Bluebirds. Requiring care and support can make one feel quite vulnerable. We aim to make choosing care an empowering moment, one that unlocks positive outcomes with the ultimate goal of remaining safe and happy at home.”
With his first foray into arranging care for a family member ending in disappointment, Peter notes, “Our most important ethos is to provide professional care that keeps each customer at the heart of their service… care that we would be happy for our own families to receive. Delivering a consistently compassionate, highly skilled, professional service is why two-thirds of our new customers come to us via personal recommendation.”
Peter and his young family enjoy every aspect of the Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, and City of London boroughs from summer walks in Regents Park to winter ice skating at the Natural History Museum.

I joined Bluebird Care back in April 2014 as a care assistant, mainly due to having a small child and being able to have flexible working hours. I quickly found supporting members of my local community and surrounding villages really rewarding, and I realised that this was the industry that I wanted to build a career in. I went from Care Assistant to Support Supervisor, Supervisor to Live-in Care Manager, to where I am today, predominantly overseeing the safe running of the South, West and central Oxfordshire territory.
As well as having transferable skills from my earlier roles, I also hold an NVQ level 5 in Care Management and look forward to developing my knowledge further in other areas of the business. I have always felt Bluebird is the perfect fit for me due to the shared ethos of person-centred care, promoting independence and going the extra mile to make a difference in someone's life whilst remaining in their own home. I feel extremely privileged to help lead a team that provides great quality care to Oxfordshire's vulnerable adults.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my two children, walking and swimming.
