They treated my husband with the utmost care. He was always left clean and they were.
Discreet and always with a cheerful smile. They also asked about my welfare which was so kind.
Sadly my husband died in February 2024.
Thank you for your kind words, I am pleased to hear we were able to support both you and your husband during this difficult time and that he was able to remain at home with his family as he wished. I also want to thank you for your kindness and compassion to the carers, I know they held both of you...
I have felt very confident with the care provided for my Dad. The carers have been kind professional and respectful taking care to build a rapport with my Dad so he feels comfortable and dignified being looked after. The agency has been extremely flexible around my parents’ needs and responsive to anything that arises. They have provided exactly what has been needed at very short notice and the communication has been excellent. This has been very reassuring at a time which has been difficult as we come to terms with my dad's need for a greater level of care at home.
Thank you for your review and your lovely words. It means a lot to receive such positive feedback and I will pass on your lovely words to the team, as this will mean so much to them. Thank you for choosing Bluebird Care, It is a pleasure to support your Dad.
over the last 2 years.
In his final few weeks, he was treated with dignity and it was a great help to me that I knew he was in such good hands.
How do you put a price on such good care, I think your staff were wonderful.
Thank you David for your review, it means a lot to us to have such positive feedback. It was a pleasure to have cared for him and to have carried out his wish of remaining at home until the end. A true gentleman whose smile is missed by us all.
For nearly six weeks, carers from Bluebird cared for my terminally ill mother. They showed such skill and empathy for both Mum and ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for the live-in carers and those who supported them. They also skilfully managed Mum’s complex medical needs and medication. The care managers were very supportive too. The carers quickly established a valuable rapport with Mum, giving her the reassurance and lovingkindness so needed by dying people. Their work was also a tremendous comfort to us and to Mum’s friends. We will never forget their warmth and commitment.
Hello Chris, thank you for leaving a review and for your lovely words. It was our absolute pleasure to care for your mother in her last weeks. I’m so glad we were able to bring her home, just where she wanted to be. The team were very fond of her. I will ensure this feedback is passed on to all...
My 98 year old mother needed full time care in her own flat. I contacted Bluebird on a referral. They were proactive throughout, found a very good carer who understood my mother and took her role seriously. Bluebird responded to any issues, kept me posted and overall very satisfied with the service. I have recommended them to others.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, it is appreciated. I’m so glad that your mothers experience was a positive one. It’s these lovely comments that keep us so motivated to continue doing what we are doing. I will personally pass them on to the team involved. It was a pleasure looking...
1. Bluebird's help (and that of their manager in particular) in navigating what is such an incredibly confusing and stressful process of linking GP and NHS services, Occupational Therapists, best practices for care etc.
2. Their reliability/consistency of care visits (after experiencing missed, uncaring, and often late visits with public social care). Bluebird they have been outstanding in their drive to help us get what is needed. We have also found 45-minute slots have helped keep prices manageable - as care is of course hugely expensive.
We would recommend Bluebird in Oxford, especially if you are in need of help setting up care quickly and very effectively and do have available funds to meet their prices.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we aim to go the extra mile to ensure the right level of care is provided. It really means a lot to us that your family is so involved and we work well together to ensure your dad is cared for and has all the right things in place to be able to remain living at home.
The care I received while recovering from a traumatic injury combined the highest professionality and efficiency with (so importantly) great kindness and sensitivity. The care I received made a great difference for my psychological as well as my physical recovery.
I’m grateful to you for taking the time to write this lovely review. Feedback, especially of this nature, is warmly received by our amazing team of Bluebirds, who strive daily to offer the professionalism, sensitivity and kindness you have described. Thank you for entrusting us with your care.
You went the extra mile for her and made the darker days seem so much better.
Thank you from all of our family for what you did. I would recommend you to anyone.
Dear Charlotte, thank you so much for taking the time to write this wonderful review. On behalf of the whole team, I would like to say that it has been our absolute pleasure to support your mother these last three years, and although we are sorry to see her go, we know how much she has wanted to...
Thanks again for all you do.
Your kind words and feedback will mean the world to the team in South Oxfordshire and I’m grateful to you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Your parents are thought of with the same fondness and every one of our Bluebirds enjoy visiting them. Thank you, to you and your parents for entrusting us with their care, it has been a pleasure.
As individual members of staff they work well. When reviewing them as a team their inconsistency sometimes becomes evident.
Thank you for your feedback, I’m pleased to hear you are happy with your care team, and I have taken on board your comment regarding inconsistencies. This has been discussed with the management team and hopefully addressing the issue will enable us to make the necessary improvements moving forward.
The care and support given to my mum over the past 4 years have been excellent. The carers genuinely care and want to do their best, trying to encourage her even on difficult days, and managing to provide her with breakfast and medications. But the care goes way beyond the practical every day, as the management team is also committed to providing the best and safest support possible. I have really appreciated the support given to me which has always been reassuring, helping me to feel supported looking after my mum as her needs increased. Thank you Bluebird, you are the best.
Such a meaningful and thoughtful review, thank you so much. As I mentioned recently, we are so sorry to lose Mum as a customer, but we are happy in the knowledge that she will get the increased support she needs and deserves. We will also be sorry to part ways with you and your brother, who have...
To me, both the office staff and the carers are like an extended part of my family. Each carer
has told me how much they love their jobs, it is the traffic that is a problem. If the Bluebird carers are short-staffed at any time, the office staff come out, never letting anyone down. Thank you and all your staff for the wonderful service Bluebird provides and thank you for giving me a platform to tell you about the service and care I receive.
Thank you for your kind words, Joan, it means a lot to the team to hear such positive feedback. We aim to provide the best service possible and we have a wonderful care team who are passionate about their work.
Bluebird carers have looked after mum in the mornings and evenings over the last two years. They were all friendly, caring and respectful and never failed to turn up. Mum was extremely independent and the Bluebird carers allowed her to stay at home, which is where she wanted to be, right up until a few days before she passed away. We are so grateful to them.
We were so pleased we were able to provide this service. All the carers were inspired by the energy and optimism your mum had and she was a pleasure to work with. Thank you for being a wonderful and supportive family.
The office ladies have also been extremely helpful during a difficult period with Dad.
I'd recommend BlueBird without hesitation.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted that you feel our service deserves 5 stars across the board. We work hard to provide high-quality care and your father deserved nothing less. We all wish him well in his new care setting, we will miss both of you. Take care
The carer has been visiting mum for 3 weeks now and it has given me great peace of mind to know someone kind is popping in to check on her, do any tasks she is struggling with and chatting to her
I have found all the staff very professional and extremely customer-focused
Thank you to everyone at Bluebird in Wallingford.
Thank you, Lynn, for your lovely review. It’s nice to hear such positive comments about our South team and I will be sure to pass these on to those involved in Mum's care.
You have taken excellent care of my friend you are reliable, friendly and caring, many times going above and beyond the call of duty. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird. Thank you.
We have enjoyed looking after your family member for the last three years.
Not carers but family to me and mum and it was like this very quickly. Cannot say a bad word.
It is with great appreciation that you have given us 5-stars for caring for your family member; this means so much for the team, thank you!
Thank you very much to all the carers who always treated my father with kindness and respect. All carers, very professional and compassionate and they were all very helpful and always went the extra mile to ensure good quality care,
It was a pleasure looking after your Father.
We cannot speak highly enough of Bluebird. From my very first conversations with them, they have absolutely understood the needs of a somewhat stubborn and highly independent lady who has been very resistant to any form of outside help.
The two carers that have been responsible for her have been incredibly sensitive to her needs and have both gently won her over. They have treated her with the utmost respect and been tremendous company for her.
Having been very anxious with a previous care company I am now worry free and feel that my mother could not be in better hands.
I cannot thank them enough.
Thank you so much for your feedback it is very much appreciated. It’s lovely to know that our live-in care service has had such a positive impact on your mother's life and that you feel so reassured.
She loved when they came into do her care as she had such lovely chats and giggles with them. She became very fond and had special bonds with a few of them. The carers also were part of my dad's life chatting to him too, he will miss them.
Thank you for everything.
As our very first customer many years ago, Mum became a firm favourite with the ‘girls’ at Bluebird Care, both past and present. Her passing has had a big impact on the team, we miss her, and miss seeing your Dad too. When we visited, we were visiting them both and will hold fond memories of our...

Insisting his colleagues are trained beyond industry standard, each Care Assistant is encouraged to develop specialisms ranging from dementia and post-op rehabilitation to Parkinson’s, MND, complex care, challenging behaviour, palliative care and nutrition and hydration. “Our aim is to match each customer to their ideal Care Assistants by personality and expertise. Whilst our customers are at the centre of what we do, our Bluebirds are the heartbeat of the company - their kindness, compassion, and professionalism set us apart.”
As the owner of three Bluebird Care offices across London and the South West, Tim can’t imagine working in any other industry. “It’s an unbeatable feeling, being involved in a local business that changes lives. My father is now receiving live-in care which has been life-changing so I am passionate about providing this service to Richmond and Twickenham residents.”
Spotting the Richmond Park deer has become a favourite pastime of Tim’s young family, as has feeding the ducks on Barnes Pond.
I joined Bluebird Care back in April 2014 as a care assistant, mainly due to having a small child and being able to have flexible working hours. I quickly found supporting members of my local community and surrounding villages really rewarding and I realised that this was the industry that I wanted to build a career in. I went from Care Assistant to Support Supervisor, Supervisor to Live-in Care Manager, to where I am today, predominantly overseeing the safe running of the South, West and central Oxfordshire territory.
As well as having transferrable skills from my earlier roles, I also hold an NVQ level 5 in Care Management and look forward to developing my knowledge further in other areas of the business. I have always felt Bluebird is the perfect fit for me due to the shared ethos of person-centred care, promoting independence and going the extra mile to make a difference in someone's life whilst remaining in their own home. I feel extremely privileged to help lead a team, that provides great quality care to Oxfordshire's vulnerable adults.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my two children, walking and swimming.
