She loved when they came into do her care as she had such lovely chats and giggles with them. She became very fond and had special bonds with a few of them. The carers also were part of my dad's life chatting to him too, he will miss them.
Thank you for everything.
As our very first customer many years ago, Mum became a firm favourite with the ‘girls’ at Bluebird Care, both past and present. Her passing has had a big impact on the team, we miss her, and miss seeing your Dad too. When we visited, we were visiting them both and will hold fond memories of our...
At the end of December when the carer found him in bed, confused and distressed, they contacted 111 for advice and waited with him until an ambulance arrived. During this episode, I was kept informed and updated by regular phone calls.
During an exceptionally difficult period, Bluebirds have done an amazing job.
All our Bluebirds enjoy spending time with your father, he is such a gentleman, and we look forward to the weather improving so that we can have more visits to the riverside. In the meantime, we will continue dancing and listening to music until the sun returns! Thank you so much for your lovely...
I'm very happy with the care and support I received every morning. The carers are very competent, friendly and caring.
Thank you for your review! We’ll be sure to pass these comments onto the lovely Bluebirds that come out to support you!
Bluebird stepped in when we needed extra care for my father who was bedridden. They always went out of their way to help when circumstances changed. We felt secure knowing they were there. Thank you to the young women who cared for my dad.
Knowing that we provided you with reassurance at a difficult time is why we do what we do, I know the small team that worked with your father were very fond of him. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it is appreciated, and your thanks will be passed onto the team.
Mum has found that all the carers to come and visit her each day always make an effort and are so courteous and kind.
Having Bluebird look after mum gives us reassurance and peace of mind that we didn’t expect to be able to have.
Thank you to all.
Thank you very much for your review. The whole team enjoy visiting your Mum and knowing that we provide you with reassurance and peace of mind is very kind of you to say. I will be sure to pass on your comments to the team.
The team were very prompt, professional and reliable.
Thank you for such a great rating! We strive for excellence, and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Kind regards, Bluebird Care Oxford.
Throughout the 10-11 months my parents experienced a consistently high level of care. All of the live-in carers and other Bluebird staff were always professional, courteous and kind. Importantly for my mother, after my father died, the carers provided companionship and stimulation and made my mother's last year a generally rewarding one.
The administration of the contract was very well handled with arrangements clearly set out and explained and someone always on hand to discuss and inform. Handling of emergencies and liaison with health services was always very professional and efficient.
Bearing in mind that the provider was appointed and employed during the Covid pandemic with its additional burdens, the service was excellent.
What a lovely review for my team and myself to read. Thank you very much for giving your time to submit it. It was a pleasure and a privilege for us to be able to support your mother in her beloved home until the end, we will remember her fondly.
All the best to you and your family
Live-in Care Manager
Excellent all around. Carers are very kind to my father.
Thank you for such a positive review, have a wonderful day!
The Live-In Carer, the Support Supervisor, and the Oxfordshire team were so helpful at what was an extremely challenging time for my mother and I as her next of kin. We had had a bad experience with a carer supplied by another agency and the Live-In Carer stepped in and immediately found a lovely carer for my mother. Everyone was extremely professional at all times, the two carers who looked after my mother, the Live-In Carer, and the Support Supervisor I felt we were in safe and very competent hands. Communication was great, I felt as an agency Bluebird Care really cared that my mother was getting the best possible care at all times.
Lovely carers for my dad. Sad to see them go only reason is full-time carer is now in place.
The experience we received for my lovely mum was warmth, compassion and dignity. The care staff were always professional and provided her with love, care and attention.
From our first meeting with the Witney team, we felt complete confidence in Bluebird. They were professional, friendly and so caring towards dad and us all right from the start. All of the carers who helped dad in his last few weeks were simply amazing. With Bluebird Care, we were able to become a family again because we knew that they would look after so many of dads needs. Absolute Stars.
All Bluebird Care personnel who attended were very friendly, punctual, and provided an excellent level of service of assistance in an efficient manner. Staff were always willing to carry out any additional requests and would happily spend a few moments in friendly conversation with me.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a positive review. We love receiving feedback from customers and their friends and families. It’s a great way to show our Bluebird carers how appreciated they are. Should you need us again you know where we are! Wishing you all the very best for the future.
Bluebird carers looked after my mum (and dad before he died last year) for several years. They treated my mum with respect and care supporting her through a difficult year. They made sure her house remained a home.
Thank you Kath for taking the time to leave a review. It was a pleasure to have been a part of your mother’s care for so long. We wish your mother all the best for the future.
From the first point of contact, Bluebird Care Oxford, South & West Oxfordshire have been efficient with prompt replies to emails, setting up the assessment and care package as quick as they possibly could to allow visits to start. The carers quickly established Mum's bedtime routine, arrived on time and were always polite and friendly. Chatting not just to Mum whom they were caring for but also to Dad. Mum liked all the carers and the fact that it was a small team was reassuring for her. I would not hesitate to recommend Bluebird Care Oxford, South & West Oxfordshire. Thank you for all you have done for Mum.
It has been our pleasure supporting your Mum and Dad, these last few months. The small team of carers you mentioned were very fond of them both and will miss coming to see them for an evening. I hope that you all keep safe and well and welcome you to contact us again in the future should you need to. Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review; it really is appreciated.
When we needed carers for my terminally ill mother-in-law, from the first point of contact everything was dealt with efficiently and smoothly. They have all shown kindness, compassion and understanding. Nothing is too much trouble. They have been our rock when we have had nowhere else to turn to for help and advice. I would not hesitate in recommending them. They are an amazing group of lovely people doing a difficult job and I could never praise them highly enough. My mother-in-law loves them all, they make her smile and she has a joke with them. She looks forward to their visits. They have definitely made her remaining time a whole lot more bearable.
We have all enjoyed caring for your Mother-in-law, she was a delight to look after and such a bubbly lady, she will be missed by the team but not forgotten. Thank you for the review with such kind words about the ladies from Bluebird Care. They have enjoyed looking and helping your family at this sad time. May she rest in Peace.
Having made many calls following my mother’s hospitalisation, Bluebird Care Oxford, South & West Oxfordshire immediately came across to me from the initial phone call with the excellent live-in care manager, as properly understanding my mother’s care was a requirement. I couldn’t have expected anything more from the initial live-in carer, Bluebird Care Oxford, South & West Oxfordshire management experience made the choice of carer very easy. Bluebird Care Oxford, South & West Oxfordshire carried on providing a very high standard of live-in care and stepped up further when the need increased. My overall experience of Bluebird Care Oxford, South & West Oxfordshire care and its management has always been excellent. Their commitment has been unfailing and I would very much recommend their services to anyone who requires a knowledgeable, sensitive and high-level of care.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. I know the team are really enjoying working with you and are looking forward to many more visits in the future! Thank you for choosing Bluebird Care.
I cannot commend highly enough the services Bluebird have provided for us. Bluebird have provided top-quality care which has supported me and guided me throughout my husband's decline. Even better than that our carer has commanded his respect and friendship and trust - and mine. Nothing is too much trouble, she works so hard and is so patient and kind and understanding I do not know what we would do without her. Her sense of humour lightens our day and believe it or not we actually have a laugh. She is a shoulder for me to weep on or someone I can moan at just to 'let the feelings out.' My husband looks forward to her coming and goes out of his way to do things he thinks she would like or approve of. He does this out of his own desire to please and even maybe to impress her with his remaining skills. It gives him a spark. Bluebirds are first-rate. I cannot commend them highly enough.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. These are very encouraging words for the team, it is very thoughtful of you to appreciate the carers efforts and to recognize the dedicated work within your family that the carers are still doing to support you and your Husband, Bluebird Cares aim is to provide the highest quality of care and I’m so happy to read this is what you are receiving.
The care we have had from nearly all the carers, and supervisor, has been excellent. They care about the whole family, not just the person who they are looking after. They listen to your requests and go over and above in supporting the person - taking into account their needs and their interests. Two main carers supported my mum nine hours a day, 5 days a week - chatting with her, preparing meals, encouraging daily exercise, undertaking craft and other activities to stimulate her and encouraged her to talk about her life and interests. She absolutely loved them both. They built a special relationship with her. We can totally recommend them. We are just sad it was only 5 months but they were there in my mum's last days after we brought her home from hospital - they went above and beyond to make her comfortable and feel cared for.
We are all very happy with your positive words and appreciate the time you took to write such a detailed review!
May your Mother rest in peace.

Spotting the Richmond Park deer has become a favourite pastime of Tim’s young family, as has feeding the ducks on Barnes Pond.
Peter’s first experience of arranging care was fraught and riddled with anxiety. “Finding care at short notice and trying to work with companies with no customer service ethos was frustrating. That’s when I thought there must be a better way!” Fast forward to 2023, and with over a decade of industry experience, Peter owns and oversees triple CQC Outstanding Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea.
After university, he worked for an NGO in New Delhi, using his law degree to change government policy and improve lives. Requiring care and support can make one feel quite vulnerable. We aim to make choosing care an empowering moment, one that unlocks positive outcomes with the ultimate goal of remaining safe and happy at home.”
With his first foray into arranging care for a family member ending in disappointment, Peter notes, “Our most important ethos is to provide professional care that keeps each customer at the heart of their service… care that we would be happy for our own families to receive. Delivering a consistently compassionate, highly skilled, professional service is why two-thirds of our new customers come to us via personal recommendation.”
Peter and his young family enjoy every aspect of the Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, and City of London boroughs from summer walks in Regents Park to winter ice skating at the Natural History Museum.

I joined Bluebird Care back in April 2014 as a care assistant, mainly due to having a small child and being able to have flexible working hours. I quickly found supporting members of my local community and surrounding villages really rewarding, and I realised that this was the industry that I wanted to build a career in. I went from Care Assistant to Support Supervisor, Supervisor to Live-in Care Manager, to where I am today, predominantly overseeing the safe running of the South, West and central Oxfordshire territory.
As well as having transferable skills from my earlier roles, I also hold an NVQ level 5 in Care Management and look forward to developing my knowledge further in other areas of the business. I have always felt Bluebird is the perfect fit for me due to the shared ethos of person-centred care, promoting independence and going the extra mile to make a difference in someone's life whilst remaining in their own home. I feel extremely privileged to help lead a team that provides great quality care to Oxfordshire's vulnerable adults.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my two children, walking and swimming.
