I've been using GoodOaks Homecare for the past four years, during which time my experience has been largely positive. Some of my carers are truly excellent and I am grateful for all they do for me. Their timekeeping is exemplary, as well as their personal care. The office staff are always very polite.
Thanks for talking the time to complete a review for us, and we really appreciate your kind words.
GoodOaks provided my friend with a professional home service. Staff were prompt, well-trained, kind, caring and supportive. I would highly recommend them.
GoodOaks is the go-to care provider. Nothing is ever too much trouble and you know your relative is receiving the best care they could. The carers are lovely and the management is very professional.
The care and support provided by GoodOaks Homecare - Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch allowed my father to live independently in his own home, as he wanted, for longer than we thought possible. The carers and office staff were always helpful and friendly. Many thanks.
My lovely mum reached 100 years old and was visited by the manager of her group of lovely carers who bought her a lovely present of flowers and a card - a lovely gesture.
Thank you for your very kind review - our care manager was honoured to visit your mum when she reached such an incredible milestone! We'll pass on your review to the rest of the team too. Thanks again.
Excellent, friendly and efficient service. In taking me on as a new client, explaining how things work and making me feel very reassured. All staff that I have met have been friendly and competent with good timekeeping. I especially appreciate the rota for the following week.
Thank you for taking the time to review us - it is a pleasure to visit you and I'm glad you've found the set-up process reassuring. We will pass on your feedback to the rest of our team!
I have found the carers who have dealt with me to be very professional, friendly and, most importantly, trustworthy. I have always been treated with dignity, which is of paramount importance to me as I am paralysed from the waist down. My main carer is excellent, as are the two regular carers. Any issues that have arisen over time have been dealt with satisfactorily by your office. I have been with your company for the past five years and am happy to continue.
Thank you for your review. We always recruit our care professionals based on a fit with our Values of Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Empathy, as well as the 'Mum Test' - would we be happy for this person to look after our loved one? I am glad your carers are doing such a great job, we'll be sure to pass on your feedback!
Very satisfied with the service. All the carers are most capable and sensitive to my needs.
Thank you for your review - it's great to hear that you are very satisfied with our service. We'll pass your feedback on to the rest of the team!

GoodOaks have provided consistent quality carers for my sister, who has advanced Alzheimer's. We have morning carers to help with showering and dressing, plus afternoon carers for companionship. I feel confident leaving my vulnerable relative in GoodOaks care. I have increased our hours and will continue to do so as my sister's need change.
Thanks so much for your very kind review. It is a pleasure to help support your sister to stay at home and we'll keep adapting to her changing requirements as needed.
They do all I need of them. Seem well-managed. What more can they do? I am perfectly capable of looking after myself and my house but my children want me visited every day. They just make me lazy but it is nice to have them cook my breakfast.
Thanks so much for your review. I'm glad we're helping with everything you need at the moment!
Every member who has attended to Mum have all been pleasant and professional.
In particular, I would like to thank the staff from the office, the visiting carer who attended to Mum in the early stages and the visiting carer towards the end.
I would not hesitate in recommending Good Oaks to anyone who may need this type of care for one of their loved ones.
Thank you so much for your very kind review. We are delighted to hear that you felt this way about the care and support shown to your mum. It was a pleasure looking after her and I'll be sure to pass this feedback along to the team.
My parents have received amazing care from Good Oaks. Their carers were hardworking, and nothing was too much trouble. They treated my parents with the utmost respect and dignity when looking after their personal needs. They were like good friends, always going the extra mile to help them to live a happy life in their own home. The communication with the family was very good too. We will miss them now my mum and dad are moving into long-term care!
Thank you for your really kind review, it was an absolute pleasure to care for your parents. I have passed this feedback along to the team.
The last two years have been very difficult for my mum and I, as she has had to adjust to the fact that she now needs to use care services. We still face challenges, but I would like to say that several of the Good Oaks carers have become like members of family - they really brighten my mum's day. One staff member has to have special thanks, and I don't really know where to start when talking about her - she's amazing! She cares for my mum like she is family, and always goes over and above for her. This means a great deal both to myself and my mum, and I continue to be awestruck by her kindness. The same is true of another staff member, who my mum always reports goes above and beyond. Having to use care services is something that nobody really wants to have to do, but it is certainly made a lot easier, and nicer, when you have genuine, kind, caring people looking after your relatives. I'm very grateful to these two ladies in particular for their warmth, and for making my mum feel so comfortable and at ease.
Thank you so much for your very kind review. It is an absolute pleasure to help support your mum. We will pass on your feedback to the carers you mentioned, I know how much they enjoy visiting your mum.
I have been very happy with the care provided by Good Oaks. My mother has enjoyed seeing her carers each day and they have been exceptionally kind and efficient. They always seemed to bring a smile to her face, even on the days that she didn't feel much like smiling at the start of a visit. If we had not had the care provided by Good Oaks, my mother could not have continued living independently for so long and it is only because she has deteriorated to the extent that it is no longer safe for her to live in the community, that we have to bring this to an end. The administration and support from the office have also been excellent. If there is a problem, the response has always been 'let's see what we can do'. It has been a huge relief for me living over 200 miles away to know that she has had a cheerful face to see every day.
Thank you so much for your review. We very much enjoyed visiting your mother and I am glad that she found our visits helpful and enjoyable, and that we were able to provide you with some peace of mind too. I will pass on your feedback to the care team as well as the office team.
Good Oaks Home Care has provided two carers so far (three weeks and two weeks). My mother has warmed to both ladies, their professional and caring manner is reassuring to her.
Physically she is stronger. After two years of near solitude (Covid conditions), she is now thriving with the company and regular hot meals.
It appears that Good Oaks Home Care endeavours to provide continuity of carers, which I believe is a big benefit to older people - less confusing and more comforting.
I have been very impressed with all the staff both admin and carers. It has certainly made my life easier knowing that Mum is safe and secure in her own home. Thank you, Good Oaks Home Care.
Thank you so much for your very kind review of our service. It's fantastic to hear what a positive impact our carers have had on your mother; companionship and interaction (as well as hot meals!) are such an important part of what we do. We'll pass on your feedback to the carers involved. Thank you again.
I would like to thank Good Oaks for their exemplary help with my father, they were able to give extra help at a phone calls notice and nothing was too much for them. Their professional help in the administration of medicines and logging on to my portal to see what the visit was like. Nothing was a problem from making his specific breakfast and how he liked his tea. He was very happy with his team of carers. I would definitely recommend to friends who want extra help for their loved ones.
Thank you so much for your review; it's been a pleasure to support your father. We will pass on the feedback to the rest of the team!
My Aunt suffers from dementia and Good Oaks has been helping me to support this very special Aunt since June 2020. The carers have been totally trustworthy caring and reliable never missing a planned visit and always at short notice trying to give my Aunt an extra visit. At Christmas, she had to isolate unexpectedly due to Covid testing and Good Oaks stepped in immediately to cover twice a day over that period and for which I will always be very grateful to them. We said goodbye to Good Oaks this week as my Aunt has now entered a care home for 24-hour care. Thanks Good Oaks, one and all and special thanks to those special carers that never let my Aunt down.
The service and support my parents received over the last 12 months has been exemplary. Initially from the one hourly sessions throughout the week to help with cleaning, shopping, and companionship, to the overnight support and care that was required to monitor medication and 'just be there for them'. The Staff built trust with my parents, allowing them to relax and not worry about the everyday tasks that were starting to become too much for them. The night cover was invaluable, allowing my parents to sleep without worry, they certainly became more relaxed knowing there was advice, support, and someone to call on if needed. I can't praise the ladies more highly. Knowing my parents had this support also allowed both my sister and myself to relax a little and not over worry about our parent's wellbeing. I would also like to mention the office staff. No issue seemed too great especially with the changes in cover that our parents required. To the Registered Manager and her team, many many thanks.
Thank you for your very kind words - it's been an absolute pleasure supporting your parents and we're glad the service has allowed you to worry a little less. Thanks again for taking the time to review us, it's much appreciated; we will pass your feedback on to the rest of the team.
My father-in-law is at home and capable of basic needs, but suffers from Dementia and blood pressure. After working with other care companies in the Poole area we approached Good Oaks in January 2021. I am so glad we did. Firstly I would like to say how professional they are and how all their staff are extremely proactive in caring for my father-in-law. If I have a problem there is no "Oh I don't think we can do that" it is "Let's see what we can do". The duties include shopping, cooking, and collecting of meds from the chemist as well as general daycare. And if I can't get down to Poole (90 mins from me) they have indicated they will help with getting him to appointments. I would add that I find the staff of Good Oaks completely trustworthy and if any problem becomes apparent they contact me instantly. This really is a 5-star company.
Thank you so much for your very kind review - it's an absolute pleasure to care for your father-in-law and I'm glad you're finding us a help. I've passed on your feedback to the rest of the team.

Meet the Team (3)
I have been working in social care for 33 years, in my role I support the team both for live-in and visiting services. I also need to ensure that our team is meeting the standards of CQC that we are delivering the best care and that all care needs are met on a day-to-day base.
Prior to working with GoodOaks, I was overseeing supported living services in Sherborne for adults with complex behaviour and I also set up a community support service for adults with Asperger's Syndrome in my previous role.
I previously worked as a carer for GoodOaks before joining the office team as the Live-in Care Coordinator and have recently been promoted to Manager. I love working in the care industry and it's lovely to know that you're helping someone stay in their own home for as long as possible.
Having previously worked as a Live-in Care professional for GoodOaks I was excited to join the office team to support the function of the office on a day-to-day basis. I really enjoy working in the care sector and I'm excited to get to know the teams, clients and their families.
