At Home Instead Camden, we believe that clarity around fees is key to helping families make confident decisions about care. The cost of putting high-quality home care in place depends on several factors, including:
The type and level of support required (e.g., personal care, specialist dementia or Parkinson’s support, live-in vs visiting care)
How many hours per week or month are needed
Whether services are delivered during evenings, weekends or 24-hour cover
any bespoke elements of the care plan (for example, additional companionship, outings, or specialised equipment)
Because each client’s needs are unique, we provide a tailored quote following a free home consultation. We will walk you through what your loved one requires, explain the team and support structure, and build a plan that aligns with your lifestyle and budget.
We believe that rather than presenting a “one-size-fits-all rate”, it is far more sensible and transparent to create a care package that flexes with your needs. If your requirements change (for example, increasing hours, adding specialist care, or adjusting the level of support), the plan and therefore the fee will reflect that.
During the consultation, we also explain how fees work: when invoices are issued, payment methods, what is included (and what is not), and how we review the plan over time to ensure value and relevance. We encourage families to ask about any potential additional costs or adjustments—our aim is that you feel comfortable, supported and fully informed. Available on request.

The ladies who come to see me are always pleasant and helpful - nothing is too much trouble.
Carers always prompt and polite and very capable. Administration always notifies me of schedule changes promptly and helpful when additional hours required.
All round excellent service.
The carers were very kind, caring and efficient and we felt that our father was in good, safe hands.
We would recommend this agency, we shall always be in their debt.
Home Instead Senior Care (Camden) provide a very efficient service for my father. They are reliable and the carers look after my father very well. He always enjoys seeing them.
Very positive experience. I had help after bilateral total hip replacements and as a highly independent, active 52-year-old who is not good at asking for help, I was nervous about needing caring services. I need not have been.
I was treated with dignity and as an adult (opposite to the experience I had in hospital). My carer was warm, friendly, spotted what needed doing before I did and is a great cook! Thank you!
I have nothing but praise for the carers and the level of support given to my father and myself in the past few months. One member of staff in particular was great, just so organised and always had time for my dad and built up a wonderful trust. I felt immediately after meeting him that I could leave my dad in his very capable care and I was able to go home to Sweden without too much worry. Thank you to all your team!
We are very happy with our carer. He is very good.
The team who care for her have on many occasions, gone above and beyond for her, ensuring she is comfortable, lives with her disease with dignity and they have remained exemplary in their care.
I am thankful we have been able to keep using Home Instead.
Honestly, my mother and our lives, in this difficult situation, have been greatly supported by them.
Caregivers looking after my husband were excellent. They used to take him out for rides and include a stop for coffee and refreshments. My husband was very satisfied and relaxed on returning home.
We are very happy with the help we are given by the carers.
