The type and level of support required (e.g., personal care, specialist dementia or Parkinson’s support, live-in vs visiting care)

How many hours per week or month are needed

Whether services are delivered during evenings, weekends or 24-hour cover

any bespoke elements of the care plan (for example, additional companionship, outings, or specialised equipment)

Because each client’s needs are unique, we provide a tailored quote following a free home consultation. We will walk you through what your loved one requires, explain the team and support structure, and build a plan that aligns with your lifestyle and budget.

We believe that rather than presenting a “one-size-fits-all rate”, it is far more sensible and transparent to create a care package that flexes with your needs. If your requirements change (for example, increasing hours, adding specialist care, or adjusting the level of support), the plan and therefore the fee will reflect that.

During the consultation, we also explain how fees work: when invoices are issued, payment methods, what is included (and what is not), and how we review the plan over time to ensure value and relevance. We encourage families to ask about any potential additional costs or adjustments—our aim is that you feel comfortable, supported and fully informed. Available on request.

I have been very pleased by the service provided. My sister's care has been wonderfully organised and maintained. Her carers have been sympathetic, very understanding and in some cases have found interesting and imaginative activities for the client to engage in. Due to my sister's experience, a cousin has engaged an American branch of Home Instead to care for her husband.

Overall Experience

Home Instead Camden have provided an excellent home care service to my mother over the last few years. There has been great consistency of carers, all of whom have been lovely, very capable and taking great pride in their caring role. I found the agency managers very responsive and helpful throughout. In particular, they responded very quickly when my mother suddenly needed a much higher level of care and put this in place at once. Overall my experience has been excellent and I would highly recommend this agency.

It is now over three years we have employed the services of Home Instead Senior Care, for house cleaning every two weeks. The standard of cleaning is always of a high standard and punctuality of visits is excellent. Should there be small changes of arrival, we are always advised in plenty of time. I would fully recommend Home Instead Senior Care for their reliable service.

Home Instead caregivers knew exactly what to do from the moment they met my mother. They treated her with such compassion and talked to her without making her feel like an invalid. My father is not the easiest of people, being extremely particular about everything and the carers and managers have gone out of their way to understand his individual needs and wishes. They provide their support with great respect for his individuality and personality.
He is always happy to see them and he has a very strong team around him, led by his key carer with whom he has a great relationship. His care plan was prepared initially with him very much involved and adapted as circumstances changed and he became less mobile etc.
The carers are highly trained and exceptional in their work.The team are also excellent in how they communicate with me whenever there is a concern. At the moment we are trying to plan for his return home and the manager has been wonderfully supportive to me and very patient, as plans have changed often at the last minute. They will talk things over and offer advice which has been invaluable.

I cannot praise everyone involved highly enough.

Very satisfied. Carers were friendly, considerate and willing to help with anything. Over a period of three months we became good friends not only do they provide all the help I needed but the companionship was cheerful and encouraging. Things were done speedily and nothing was too much trouble. They helped me through a very difficult period recovering from surgery.

I am incredibly grateful for truly exceptional care given to my 102-year-old friend by Home Instead Camden team, enabling him to stay in his home until the end. The managers always kept close contact, informing me of all the details of his care and advising me wisely. The team of carers who looked after him were without exception sensitive, loving, professional, caring, flexible and focus on all the tiny details which improved his quality of life. I have been exceedingly pleased with Home Instead and in particular with my husband's carer. My husband, who has Alzheimer's, was initially resistant to having a carer but his carer got him over this hurdle with tact, sensitivity and patience. His carer has since faced some challenging situations which he has also handled with great compassion, insight and professionalism.

The carers were/are caring, helpful and cheerful. They carry out their tasks of helping me out and into bed very gently without causing me pain onto my frame. They are conscientious with my personal hygiene and kind and gentle when washing me etc. Before they leave each one of them (I have about four different carers one morning and evening) makes sure that I am happy and comfortable.
