We provide high-quality regulated care with a minimum of 30-minute visits and personalised support. Care packages require a minimum of two hours per week. After the cooling-off period, two weeks’ notice is needed to cancel a care package, while 48 hours’ notice is requested to cancel individual visits. In the event of a hospital stay, we only charge for 48 hours of care post-admission, ensuring a fair and flexible approach.

  • Right at Home carers are restricted from performing certain tasks to maintain safety and professional standards. They are not permitted to offer medical advice or assistance, as they are not qualified to diagnose or treat medical conditions. They cannot lift or move heavy furniture or large items. Carers are only authorised to provide services to the named Client and not to other individuals in the household. They will not operate in hazardous or unsafe environments. Additionally, carers cannot supply continence aids or specialist medical equipment.

I can not recommend Right at Home enough. They have been caring for my Grandad for almost a year and the care given has been incredible. He has pancreatic cancer and dementia, they have supported him with his diet, health and memory. My grandmother passed away in May and they have also given him companionship.
They treat him as they would treat their own grandparents and I couldn't be more thankful. The manager is always on hand for one of my many calls and texts, peace of mind or assistance, nothing is too much bother for her! Thank you!

Absolutely outstanding agency. The manager and her team went above and beyond to manage my grandmother's needs and provided exceptional care at the palliative stage. No ask was too much; no job too small. I was liaised and communicated with at a high standard and remained very much involved with every
aspect of my grandmother's care. They ensured that the emotional end stage of my grandmother's life was appropriately managed with dignity and thorough care.

We have been using Right at Home since February for my Father. Our primary contact there has been so helpful, she is caring and responsive. Initially, it was unclear how much care would be required, however, Right at Home were very understanding with our changing requirements.
The carers that I have
dealt with all seem to be very genuine people and they have won round my father's wife - she was initially very reluctant to have anyone round to assist with my father but now enjoys their visits.
I have had reports from individual carers in the course of their duties and get updates from our primary contact. Overall I think that we are fortunate in having found Right at Home to care for my father.

Right at Home have provided excellent care to support my father in his own home. They were able to provide careers immediately, despite his need arising during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic. I really like that we are emailed a schedule for the week ahead so know which career will be coming
and that generally the same careers are used. This has enabled the careers to develop a rapport with both my parents putting them at ease. It is easy to make contact when needs change and the agency has been extremely accommodating. Our experience has been first class and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My mum was discharged from hospital and I needed some help and I contacted Right At Home and the manager visited us and was excellent in her approach. I found all the carers very caring, friendly, professional and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they always made my mum feel comfortable
and always left my mum smiling. I used Right At Home only for about four weeks as my mum sadly passed away.
Whenever I had a query, I rang the office and they were always helpful. They listened and were accomodating to my requests.
I always felt that I knew everyone at Right At Home and they were part of my family although it was only for a few weeks.
I am extremely grateful for the service provided by everyone and I would highly recommend them.

In 2015 I needed to find someone to provide care for my mum after she had been in hospital and had received surgery for a broken ankle and dislocated shoulder. I contacted several firms but none were as helpful as Right at Home. They provided daily visits for almost four years and the caregivers were
all fantastic and built up a wonderful relationship with my mum. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the help received from the office staff was also great.

Office organisation was good. Only issue related to sending of invoices to father when the request was made not to do so. The two carers were both friendly, reliable, genuinely caring people. Service enabled father to live at home for longer than would have otherwise been the case.

As I had never had to use this service before, it was quite daunting knowing how everything worked. Right from the initial visit by the Manager, we were made to feel at ease. Everything was explained and if we had any problems (which we didn't) someone was at the end of the telephone. Even when my father
went into hospital we had a follow-up call to see how he was. Very satisfied with the care and time they spent with him.

From the very first contact with Right at home, the service was first class, very friendly person giving outstanding service over the phone. Then that friendly, personal first meeting which carried on to the friendly personal service form each of the carers.
Even to the extent of one young carer going
with my aunt to hospital and staying for 6 hours, when we were away on holiday.
This is above the expected duties from anyone. Very well done and thank you all very much.

Right at Home provided first class emergency assistance for my 89 year old mother after a fall, at very short notice. She had been very unhappy in respite care and RIght at Home's 24hr live in carer enabled her to come home and be in familiar surroundings. The carer was very kind, patient and loving
and encouraged gentle exercise, good eating habits and social events. The six week stay saw my mother recover physically and boosted her confidence. I thoroughly recommend.

Nick Turner

Nick Turner trained and practised as a designer and furniture maker for over 30 years, visiting clients and producing unique bespoke solutions for their needs. It then became time to manage the care of a close relative, and a few years later he was able to apply these skills to starting a high-quality care company.


Having also been involved in voluntary visiting for over 40 years, he is committed to the delivery of care that is passionately compassionate, defining itself in first-class client-centred care. The company is also equally committed to providing the same caring approach to all members of the team in order to provide a well-paid, safe and happy working environment.


He is committed to providing the best advice and resources to clients and their relatives, on the basis that everyone deserves to be treated well and retain their dignity and independence, when in need.


Nick is also keen to contribute more widely and so sits on the board of Hampshire Domiciliary Care Providers, Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board, Chandler’s Ford and Hiltingbury Dementia Action Group and continues to make links where he can best contribute.


He spends his free time with his wife, children, dogs and other animals, DIY, travel, walking and boating.
