My mother has carers 3 times a week st the moment. She is a very independent 96-year-old but the carers have been sensitive to that and built a good relationship with her. They have been very reliable and friendly and my mother looks forward to their visits. Management is very good and easy to contact,
being flexible in changes we have had to make. I would thoroughly recommend My Homecare.

I have been with My Homecare Assistance for approximately 4 years. I have been a carer on and off for a lot of years. Then I became ill and had 2 or 3 other home care agencies. My Homecare Assistance is far superior, the carers are very friendly and supportive, and would help in any way. Also, if I
ever need to ring the office the people on the end of the phone are very helpful. I think I would be lost without them. Their confidentiality is second to none.

The carers look after my mam very well. She needs limited intervention and they appreciate that she was initially very reluctant to having care at home but she appreciates their visits and kindness now.

The staff are all very kind to my mam. Her main carer comes most days so she is very comfortable with her. She is helped with bathing and put to bed/helped out of bed daily and other small tasks. Medication is administered safely. I am very satisfied. Thank you.

This is my first experience with the home care service and so far it's been a good one. I'm in fact delighted with the help I receive which is quite straight forward but quite straight forward, but quite essential to me. Helping me with putting on compression stockings which have become most difficult
recently due to osteoarthritis. The result has been remarkable. The assistants are pleasant, professional and friendly. I can't praise them enough well done!

Carers are excellent, professional, treat Mam with dignity, go above and beyond duty to ensure patients healthy and wellbeing. Great at keeping in touch with me and updating me in reference to any concerns. I have peace of mind in the knowledge that she is cared for by trustworthy, reliable carers.
You can't put a price on that! Would recommend 110% to anyone.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.733 for The Care and Support Group County Durham is calculated as follows: ( (22 Excellents x 5) + (8 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 30 Ratings = 4.733

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for The Care and Support Group County Durham is based on 5 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 4.5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
