I have used Balby Care Services for several years to provide care for my disabled husband and the ladies in the office are always friendly and helpful and the sitters provided are always engaging and helpful with my husband and look after him very well.

Balby Care has been looking after Mum for a few years now and has always provided first-class care, even through the difficult and ongoing Covid period. Everyone in the care team does an outstanding job and really help with Mum's well-being, even more so now that she needs extra help and support. I'm
absolutely sure that Mum is receiving the best possible care and can definitely highly recommend all at Balby Care.

I have trusted this company to help look after my mum.
Mum needs prompting to take her meds and can at times question why she needs them, why she needs help etc. Whilst all the care team are very good, one lady, in particular, has the patience of a saint. I think the team like to try and keep as much
as possible with the same caregiver which really helps mum.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company and really appreciate how they help, often going above and beyond.

Mum's memory and mobility were deteriorating and it was decided to employ carers. I am very pleased to say that Balby Care we're excellent in dealing with not only the day to day care but contributing to keep mums dignity.
It was my hope and mums that we didn't go down the route of a care home and
could keep her safe at home. I know that the kindness and care from the carers attributed to that.

After losing my Mother in 2019, we have been using Balby Care for the past two years for my father's personal care and we have been very happy with the care he has received. As his immediate family live in Cheshire and Staffordshire, this has been a valuable support for him in providing a friendly face
each day for company as well as for caring support. I am billed via email promptly every two weeks with all the details needed to pay online.


I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of support.

I am a friend of a lady who used the service. It was fantastic I would recommend it. From Carer to the Registered Manager nothing was more caring and kind. I have known a lot of caring agencies but Balby Care and Home Services Ltd is by far the best.

Balby Care have been excellent in looking after my mum in her home. They have always been very welcoming and professional in the care that they have given my mum and she has always looked forward to their calls and they have put a smile on her face. They have always looked after her which has enabled
her to maintain her dignity. I appreciate everything that they have done for her.

I don’t know what I would have done without the amazing carers that helped to look after my mum in the months before her passing, especially the certain member of staff who was our angel. Nothing was too much trouble for them in supporting not only mum, but my sister and I in what was a very stressful
time for us. The genuine love and care they showed will never be forgotten and can’t thank them enough for everything that they did going above and beyond their duties.

I cannot thank this company enough for their help and support with care for my mum. We only had them for the last 5 months of my mum’s life but we could not have managed without them. They went beyond our expectations with help and support and generally trying their best to make this end-of-life journey
as easy for us and mum as possible. I will always be very grateful to them and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking care.

Balby Care and Home services do exactly what the title states. One of the most important things for me as the daughter of a service user is to feel confident that my mum is being looked after and cared for in the correct manner you would expect. Communication with myself and the handling of external
services is excellent. The Registered Manager and staff go over and above their daily tasks which is really nice to see. Whether it be to bring a bag of chips from the Chip Shop for mum, or sitting talking and reminiscing, these personal touches can really make her day. In mums world it's the little things that matter. Having confidence in your company and staff allows me to go about my busy day with the peace of mind that mum is very well taken care of.

The family were in a predicament when my uncle's dear brother passed away in January 2020. They had been living together for 85 years and suddenly my surviving uncle was all alone. The timing of the Covid-19 crisis presented a huge challenge for the family which Balby Care took on in very testing circumstances
for them. I can not praise the whole team enough for what they did for my uncle, treating him with dignity and respect and really acting as if he was one of their own family. Sadly, my uncle passed away in October 2020 but the whole family feel that his last months were made all the more comfortable and safe through the care and love the Balby Care team gave my uncle. When challenges came up, they were committed to finding a solution, always with my uncle's care their priority. They responded professionally at all times of day and night. If you are considering care for a loved one who wishes to stay in their own home as my uncle did, you need to look no further than Balby Care.

Balby Care has provided a very good service for my Mum. The carers are keen and have a desire to make their client happy and safe. If we need anything to change, it is easy to just ask the carer or leave a note. My Mum's favorite carers are the ones who just get on with things. Overall a very good service.

The care my father received in the last few months of his life was excellent. The carers who visited him were kind, considerate and he always felt at ease with them. I had complete confidence in the care he received and this gave me peace of mind. On his death, they still found time to contact me to

We moved my mum to Balby Care and really glad we did. Their carers are very good with my mum and nothing is too much trouble for them if she needs anything. They help her with her showers, make sure she has her meals and drinks and prompt medication morning and night. They always keep us informed about
anything we need to know. They also make sure she is in bed at night too. It's a real comfort to know she is being looked after by a professional company.

After a fall and a stay in hospital mum and I resigned to the fact that she needed some extra help. Our local steps team put us in touch with Balby Care, they came out and had an informal chat about mums needs. From the onset mum was chuffed to bits with her carer, she helped mum get up, washed, dressed
with dignity then made her breakfast, prompted her medication. After making her bed and feeding the cat she’d have a quick chat while filling in mum's care plan. That was mum set up for the day, at night she would return again, prompt medication and help mum to bed. If there were any problems or concerns they’d ring me up and let me know. After a couple of weeks, it became clear that mum also needed a lunchtime visit as she was forgetting to get herself lunch. This wasn’t a problem and was set up for the very next day. Unfortunately, mum was taken ill suddenly and passed away.
I’m contented that mum was well looked after by Balby Care, they were mums angels and gave me peace of mind.
