From the outset when a member of the Live In Care team drove to see me, I felt my mother would be in capable and caring hands. All the live-in carers were good, some excellent, and the agency arranged seamless handovers. I liked using the app to be aware of what was happening. When my mother became ill the team were very helpful in liaising with me, the carer and the hospital. The live-in carer at that time went above and beyond to stay on longer for continuity and because she got on very well with my mother. The carer adapted to the increasing health care needs of my mother to make it possible for my mum to be discharged home, which I was very pleased about even though she died very soon after. The agency was very kind to me after her death. I would hugely recommend them to anyone looking for a live-in care agency.
Thank you for your kind words, it was an absolute pleasure and privilege to look after Mum until her final hours and I'm so pleased that we were able to be supportive to you too. We love being able to help people remain at home, with the right care and support to meet their individual needs and preferences and we are so lucky to have such wonderful and dedicated carers.
Over a period of six months they have provided a high standard of care. Very professional organisation with good management and helpful and caring staff in difficult and trying circumstances. The access to their online reporting system was very beneficial as we were aware, on a daily basis, of the routine and the emotional state of our relative.
When my Grandfather experienced a heart attack and Nan was left without anyone to look after her, we contacted this company who acted faster than we expected and provided a wonderful carer within a couple of days. The carer not only supported Nan but is also now ensuring that Granddad has the rest he needs following his hospital discharge. We could not be more grateful and highly recommend this company to anyone looking for care support at home.
Live in Care try to be as responsive as possible and if you need our help in the future, don't hesitate to call.
This company have been working alongside our family for the last four years. The manager and the team have not only been incredibly supportive but a shoulder when needed, as we embarked on a journey of care that had to adapt to our mothers needs after several strokes. We have found them to be incredibly professional and always put the needs of the patient first. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.
It's been a pleasure to care for Mum and we're always here if you need help or advice.
All of the carers are of the highest quality and a joy to work with. I highly recommend this company.
Absolutely delighted with the provision. Had 2 weeks cover for our live-in-carer and the carer that was supplied was fantastic. We felt extremely confident that our family was very well looked after and my mother developed a quick bond with the carer, who was extremely friendly. A very professional service and all of the processes in the build-up to the provision were smooth and easy for us to navigate. Staff are very quick to respond to questions etc. We will definitely be using them again.
During the pandemic the carer did not have any breaks, choosing to stay with my Aunt and ensuring she was safe and well. I will never be able to thank the agency or the carer enough for their help and understanding.
My mother’s care provider was a different one up until June 2020 when I switched providers. I wish I had done this ages ago as the 2 carers we have had since using this agency have been excellent... worlds apart from the previous, substandard service. The carers are clean, conscientious, caring, capable, highly experienced and have my mother’s best interest at heart, almost like it’s not just a job, they CARE. The person in place at the moment has been fantastic since day one and she is worth every penny and more! I was always on edge about the level of care my mum was getting with the previous agency, but now I am relaxed, knowing she absolutely is in the best hands. The agency have been contacting the doctors and dementia teams to help my mum, I always had to do that sort of thing previously, so they have taken that pressure off of me and the family as well. They absolutely know what they are doing and I would recommend them 1000% to any family in a situation like ours. Thank you so much!
Live In Care are people who care about people not the purse. Thank you for being there for my friend and me.
Someone coming into your home to stay with you has to be a bit special. First impressions count. 10 out of 10 right away. She became one of my family immediately. Carryout out all her duties to the letter with perfect manners. Cooks wonderful meals. We enjoy each other's company, chatting and watching TV. I would be very happy to have her back again. A credit to Live In Care.
We quickly set up appointments for the care manager to meet Mum and visit her home. Within 24 hours of the first appointment, I was sent profiles of suitable carers and with Mum, we chose those whom we thought would suit Mum.
The day Mum came home the carer had arrived in plenty of time to be there to meet my husband and I, see the house and meet Mum when she arrived.
The carers are brilliant - they are looking after Mum so well. It gives me so much peace of mind.
Given the current crisis, the carers and the agency are doing brilliant work.
We had 6 carers from Live In Care for my parents over a period of time, and they were all outstanding, without exception. We never had any cause for complaint, in fact, they all went above and beyond what any of us would have expected. I always got the impression that they were not just doing a job, but that they genuinely cared for and about my parents. Both my parents spent time in hospital, and the carers organised a rota so that someone could be with them 24/7 even though it meant sleeping on the floor or in a chair; as a family, we can never thank them enough for this. The carers were resourceful and hardworking and were determined to provide the best care possible. My parents were always treated with kindness, dignity and love, nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend Live In Care.
Live In Care provided excellent live-in care and 'waking night care' for my Mum at home as her health deteriorated. Despite difficult home circumstances, they didn't give up on her and did their utmost to provide friendly caring ladies to look after her.
Very experienced, friendly and caring staff. Could not have asked for better. A breath of fresh air.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who may be looking for Live in Care.
A huge thank you to the whole team.
Both carers were absolutely excellent. They helped mum gain confidence in many ways. This was invaluable and mum loved the fun-loving care that they provided and especially enjoyed being accompanied by them to church. Mum instantly took to the carers. Their support was invaluable and their calm, measured and compassionate care at the end of mum’s life was absolutely second to none. They not only provided excellent care for mum but they also looked after us as a family in a sensitive compassionate way so that we were able to work together to make mum’s last few days the best that they could possibly be. Their communication skills were excellent, both with mum and with us as a family so that we were kept informed at all times. They are both brilliant carers and I would highly recommend them both for future employment in caring positions. In addition, the agency managers were kind and caring and their organisation skills ensured the right carers were assigned to meet the needs our mum.
In 2018 we had cause to use this company to look after an elderly relative with Parkinson's who needed live in care. Recently we again found ourselves in need of a live in carer after my relative was discharged from hospital. I had no hesitation in contacting Live In Care again. In total, we have had help from six carers. Only one did not meet our expectations and the company swiftly offered to replace her if we wished. The carers have been trustworthy and supportive of my relative's needs and some of them really hit it off with my relative and became companions as well as carers. The care manager was particularly helpful in ensuring arrangements ran smoothly as I do not live nearby and was anxious that my relative was not 'left in the lurch' at any time. If you need live in care then this company are reliable, trustworthy and professional although as with everything a good service does not come cheap!
We are so grateful for the wonderful, caring ladies who have and still are, taking care of Mum, following a concussion complication. Their devoted care has enabled our elderly dad to relax, knowing the nights are covered by these capable, friendly ladies. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I totally recommend Live In Care to everyone who may need help in keeping their loved ones living independently at home. Thank you all.
Contacted Live In Care in February 2019 and quickly arranged a Live In Care carer for my Mum. We wanted to allow my Mum to continue to live at home, with the freedom that allows. Sadly 8 months on we have had to move mum to a care home due to her deterioration. Many thanks to Live In Care for providing lovely carers. Happy to recommend them.
I arranged our holiday in 2 weeks before the date of departure. This included everything from my first meeting / father's assessment with your company to booking the much-needed vacation.
From my initial phone call with Live In Care I was totally inspired with confidence and satisfied that my father's care would be in excellent hands. I, therefore, booked our holiday knowing that Live In Care would deliver exactly what had been arranged.
My family met with the first carer and we met the 2nd-week lady on our return. I was totally overwhelmed with the service we received and would emphatically recommend anyone using this company. Dignity and great value for money.
I will certainly be requesting their services again in the near future. Thank you Live In Care.
