They could not have been more helpful or responsive. Recognising my dilemma, I was promised a carer for midday the next day and also promising to provide a consistent carer to alternate with the one I was already employing. Within an hour I had a carer profile. Changeover was good and the incoming carer met with complete approval. Staff from the team came out to my mother's flat to make sure everything was satisfactory. Admin support from the office has been excellent.
We have two carers. They alternate. Both are really lovely and caring, always looking to do that little bit extra. My friend is an elderly and infirm lady and all the care she gets is excellent. The two carers are very different but both very very good.
Carers are lovely and very helpful. Good at encouraging so Mum can regain her independence, and helping when needed. Food looks great.
I approached Live In Care in early February with regard to taking over from me to provide 24-hour care for my 96-year-old Mother. The flexible approach to everything was an advantage and the fact that Mum already knew the manager and some of her staff. The care regime evolved over time. Mum has been fortunate to have had two lovely care ladies for most of the time, both of whom were really excellent. Live In Care were able to find carers to come in when the ladies had hours off, etc and Mum has been able to continue living at home with people that she has been happy with. Now I am back for a while, but we will be calling on the services of Live In Care in again. Thank you to all the team.
Being the main carer for my mum who has vascular dementia, it has been an absolute godsend to find a company who I can trust implicitly to provide waking care in my absence and therefore provide me with much-needed respite. Live In Care have absolutely fulfilled all of my, and my mums, requirements and I know that whenever I go away now she is left in excellent hands. The organisation is very professional with full profiles of the (very experienced) carers being provided in advance, arrangements all organised for gaining access to my mum's property and excellent care being provided overnight. I cannot thank this company enough for there professionalism and care at a very difficult time. They really do go above and beyond. Thank you!
The carer they provided was superb and fitted in very easily to provide waking night care for my father.
Over the past year, Live-In Care have provided us with several excellent live-in carers for our elderly mother, who has dementia. It is an extremely difficult job to match carers with clients, especially when dementia is involved. Live-In Care communicated well with us throughout and were very quick to respond to any of our queries whenever we needed them to. I have no hesitation in recommending them as a very caring, efficient and professional company.
The service provided was excellent.
Live In Care have been organizing care for our Mum for the last four months, they have always been helpful with arrangements and queries. The carers provided were also excellent at taking care of Mum, we were very happy to know that she was being looked after so well.
It was wonderful to see Dad cared for in his own home by people who really cared for him and attended to his every need, even if that was pulling vegetables from his veg patch and cooking them for his lunch. It was a shame that Dad was not able to receive this level of care for longer.
Live In Care has been a Godsend. The carers are knowledgeable, experienced and show dignity to both my Mother and Great Aunt. As a relative, I can finally relax and know they are in good hands!
Very helpful and easy to contact if there are any problems with the care service they provide. We are kept up to date of any changes that may occur.
I cannot recommend the services of Live In Care highly enough. They offer a personalised and proficient service, taking a genuine interest in the specific needs of the client, ensuring they provide the right care for the individual concerned. My elderly father continues to be delighted with the 'live in care' he has and as a family member, I have been so impressed by the open communication and support provided.
My mum has dementia with very challenging behaviour and is wheelchair bound. Since a fall at home more than four years ago mum has needed fulltime care. Live In Care provide 2 X 24hour carers for mum in her own home and since then her physical health and well being has improved dramatically. The 2:1 care provided is second to none. The 3 main carers have become part of our family and treat mum with the utmost dignity and respect, despite mum's very challenging daily needs. Their expert, professional care ensures mum is well hydrated and nourished at all times. Mum has dysphagia which causes swallowing difficulties and means she is at risk of choking so needs a soft diet and thickened fluids which are expertly prepared by the carers. Mum has many chest infections and the carers quickly recognise the signs and symptoms, giving prompt medical intervention, which prevents hospital admissions, this is so important with mum's dementia. I wholeheartedly recommend Live In Care.
From the moment I rang Live In Care, the care and attention was amazing. All the Carers provided were kind, caring, respectful to my mother and myself at this difficult time. To me, it made mummy's last few weeks easier to cope with. Couldn't recommend them more highly and all my mother's friends who visit commented on her Carers on how nice they were.
We couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided for mum during a short spell in her own home between a long hospital stay and moving to a permanent residential care. The manageress went to great lengths to find suitable care at very short notice over the Christmas period and kept the family (all living at some considerable distance away) very well informed. Carers were dedicated and we felt mum was well looked after both physically and mentally. They went out of their way to fit in with her needs and she became very fond of them. On the one occasion when a carer didn't gel, she was replaced very quickly with someone more amenable. Thanks again to Live In Care (Care At Home Services). We couldn't have coped without you.
I have found this company the best among the three I have used. The staff they employ are good quality and professional. I found their charges extortionate at £120 per day (£7,120) p.a but I suppose all these companies charge the same. Nevertheless, for anybody living on their personal savings, this can only be afforded for a certain length of time and then what? Become a charge on the state or dead?
Excellent service. It's a lot of money to burn through.
The level of care given to my 92-year-old mother is simply outstanding.
We have really struck gold with mum's wonderful carer!
She has exceeded our expectations.
She could not be better.
A very kind, gentle and understanding person, she is totally trustworthy and completely professional.
She has already made a huge difference not only to mum but also to the family.
We are deeply grateful to Live In Care.
Thank you!
From the outset, the first contact was compassionate and efficient. The assessor was the dame. We have had three different carers all of whom have been lovely. One has been exceptional and is with us now going through palliative care final stages. I would recommend to anyone.
