Home Instead has been absolutely fantastic in providing professional and sensitive care for my Mum who has Alzheimer’s. I wish we had found them earlier. The time and care that senior supervisor took in matching Mum with her two carers really paid off and Mum was very happy with the arrangement.
We used another agency a year ago with very disappointing results (different people arriving, not sensitive to mum’s quiet disposition, no paperwork) and we were just amazed by how different our experience had been with Home Instead. I thoroughly recommend this service and hope they can help more people like Mum.

We've recently introduced care for our father who is 83 and lives alone in Stoke Bishop as he has memory problems and is not able to look after himself as well as he'd like. Home Instead is unique in that it really does do what the owner says on the blurb on the homepage. The support and overall attitude in providing the individual care for our father has been outstanding. The owner and his team have always listened and have provided advice and useful tips to enable our father to enjoy his life in his own home. I would be very happy recommending Home Instead Bristol North to anyone who is considering care for a loved one. Thank you.

My 72-year-old mother with vascular dementia needed companionship to help her maintain a happy, fulfilled and independent lifestyle. Home Instead staff worked very closely with us to develop a schedule that was flexible and achievable including providing companions at the weekends. Mum has several companions to ensure that everyone remains fresh and enthusiastic, and this has so far worked very well, with the companions developing developed good relationships with Mum, getting to know what she does and doesn't enjoy doing. This service has lifted what felt like the weight of the world not just for Mum but also for us, her children. I cannot say thank you enough.
I have severe communication difficulties following a stroke. I was looking for someone to keep me company and do interesting things with while giving my wife a break. Home Instead were careful to provide a carer who shared similar interests and who would be a gentle and pleasant...
Carefully researching activities in the area and suggesting a variety of things to do which might be of interest. Home Instead also check regularly with my wife that both she and I are happy with how things are going.

My 94-year-old mother has been using Home Instead's services for over 8 months. Their responsiveness to her needs - both at management level and on the part of her carer - has been superb. We were looking for continuity and a high quality of care. We only needed help at the weekends and had struggled to find agencies willing to provide this. We have found the service completely reliable and except in the few instances when the carer has been ill or on holiday, the same person has cared for my mother throughout. She is well briefed, well trained, competent, pleasant, conscientious and caring. She gives me a quick report after every visit and flags up any concerns. When someone has stood in for her, they have been similarly well- informed about my mother's needs and similarly pleasant, friendly and reliable. Whether we deal with the owner, the supervisor or the carer, we get an immediate response. Our impression is that the company treats clients as individuals and is keen to provide individualised care.

Home Instead seems very good at matching their staff with clients and Mum has a lovely time with her companion who is genuinely very fond of my mother.
I was extremely impressed in the way that Home Instead spent time to get to know my parents and to understand their needs and wishes before matching them up with carers. An extremely professional and very thoughtful service, that was person centred and very flexible.
