I have no complaints about the competence of the carers. However the rota is non-functioning. I chose Lotus on the basis that the carers calls would be 9am and 7pm, with occasional adjustments for appointments. Despite numerous phone calls the preparation of the rota has not met the times as agreed. For example the rota has deviated from the agreed times by up to 3 hours regularly. Also adjustments requested by myself have not been initiated.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm pleased to hear that you're happy with the carers' professionalism, but I'm very sorry that the rota has not reflected the agreed call times. We understand how important consistency is, and it's concerning that the visits have been up to three hours off schedule and...
The service provided by the carers is excellent, they are kind, friendly and very professional. During the extremely cold weather early in the year, one lady walked more than a mile to reach me when her car was stuck in snow. However the management of their time is less satisfactory with the times they are allocated to arrive varying by as much as 90 minutes from the arranged time, particularly in the evening visit. The carers themselves are brilliant.
Thank you so much for your kind words about our carer's. We're delighted to hear that you find them kind, friendly, and professional , and we're especially proud of the dedication shown during the severe weather earlier this year. Your feedback about the timing of visits is equally important to us....
I am very satisfied with all carers that come to me they are very helpful and considerate.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that you're satisfied with the care youre receiving. It's wonderful to know that our carers are making a positive difference by being helpful and considerate. This will be passed onto the Team .
The only thing she has a problem with is receiving personal care from men. If this happens she would decline help. All other times, other than personal care, a male carer is fine.
I have phoned about this but it is still happening.
Thank you for your message. I'm really glad to hear that your mum is happy with the support she receives and that she gets on well with her carers - that's very important to us.I'm sorry to hear, however, that despite your previous call, male carers are still being assigned for personal care. We...
The delivery of my care is very professional and helpful. The only downside is that I sometimes feel that I am not listened to, for example I can take paracetamol that is not prescribed for me, some carers will leave it for me to take when needed others put it out of my reach. If the next carers are late I can be sat in a lot of pain waiting for someone to come.
Thank you for your feedback , we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We're pleased to hear that you find the delivery of your care professional and helpful. We're sorry to hear that you sometimes feel unheard, particularly around your access to paracetamol. We understand...
The carers that come are lovely and friendly. However my wife is left in bed for 12 hrs some days due to calls being late and it's simply not fair and inhumane as she is incontinent and laid there for hours. Sometimes the cares don't even change the bed when it's wet and smelly from her, they have to be told too. We used to get a call if the carers were late and this helped but that stopped. I have debated other companies, but I like this company but things need to be better. Also my wife isn't always dried after a shower properly and this results in sores.
Firstly, we're truly sorry to hear about the distressing issues you and your wife have been facing. While we're glad to hear you find our carers friendly and caring, We take this very seriously. We completely agree that timely visits, proper hygiene care, and clear communication are essential for...
Sometimes we have had to cancel a session with our carers because I've had a hospital appointment, every time we have rung the office to give them plenty of notice however mostly they have it passed the information to the carer who has come to help me unknowingly also we have had to sit waiting for carers to come because they can be over an hour late, when I'm still waiting to get in the shower at 11 o'clock in the morning. It's rather annoying.
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you've experienced with communication and delays. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We appreciate you giving us notice when cancelling sessions, and it's clear we...
Good, helpful staff.
Very good.
Very good .
We used your services at a very difficult time for us. Excellent service provided from management to the care staff. Highly recommended.
We have seen a big change in care since the inclusion of current staff.
Good, reliable level of service.
I have used Lotus Homecare since March this year. Like most service providers it has it's good and bad points. I request that I prefer lady carers to gentlemen although I do understand it's inevitable at times. To be quite honest I have considered finding another service provider but can't be bothered with the hassle of explaining my life and conditions again to complete strangers.
Lotus have provided care since early in the year for my wife, who has Alzheimer's and is housebound. They have provided care within the terms of the contract and generally speaking it has been and is very satisfactory.
All the staff treat me like family. They are very friendly, efficient and adapt to my needs. I feel very cared for.
The staff are all extremely helpful, kind and very accommodating - nothing is too much trouble for them. My mum is well looked after and I can relax in the knowledge she is in safe hands.
From their first visit, we have been impressed by their friendliness and efficiency. We have welcomed them and have looked forward to seeing them.
All members of staff are helpful, clean and tidy at all times. They have all made good connections with their client and are efficient in their service.
We find the staff listen to how we want the care to be delivered and never question anything, they are always happy to help us.
