I was commissioned by the PoA of the service user to source good quality domiciliary care for a very elderly gentleman living with dementia where relationships within the family were extremely difficult. The General Manager and Care Manager at Home Instead Wembley responded immediately to an urgent need for care for two days per week. They took the time to understand my client's needs and provided a comprehensive, person-centered care plan. It was a revelation to the wider family to see my client's carer actively supporting and facilitating him to do everyday tasks such as preparing meals and engaging in conversation which he had enjoyed so much in the past, rather than excluding him which his previous carer had done. The carer was well trained in providing dementia friendly care but was perhaps a little inexperienced to deal well with the family dynamics. However, the management of the carer and of the service was excellent, responsive and professional.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We strive to deliver excellent care and we spend much of our time looking for passionate people who consider it a privilege to support people in their own homes. Home Instead team of management and carers go that extra mile to accommodate any extra care that we need. Nothing ever is too much for them. They not only care for my dad but also do small things (thoughtful gestures) that make my carer's role that little bit easier.

Weekly visits are now in place, and I can highly recommend Home Instead.
Thank you very much for your comments. It is our absolute pleasure to look after your father, he is a lovely gentleman.
Using this agency to help with the care of my mother in the capacity of transport to and from the hospital and other appointments, shopping and other related activities have relieved the great pressure on me, enabling me to arrange my days accordingly.
Without the use of Home Instead, I would certainly have had to give up my own work and probably my mother would not be able to live independently. I am so grateful for their help and would have no hesitation in recommending the brilliant staff, who never let me down. Well done to all.
It has been our absolute pleasure caring for your mother, she is a truly remarkable and inspirational lady who we have had the honour of supporting.
