The service, care and consideration of Home Instead, from the management through to the carers is exemplary throughout the time that my mother has had her care package. The carers were far better than any I have come across in terms of knowing what to do, listening to my mother, engaging with her in
a friendly non-judgemental and respectful way and went at times way beyond what one would expect from a carer, especially such as an emergency in the evening.
The carers were not just good at the care but were able to make food and clean up and deal with any sorts of emergencies.

We contacted Home Instead after it being recommended by another care provider that were unable to offer the service in our area. My dad has late-stage Alzheimer’s and had become bed-bound after a fall.


Home Instead from top to bottom were fantastic. They were quick to get the care in place and the

carers provided were simply wonderful. They were delicate, thoughtful, understanding and careful in the way that they would change, touch and tend to my dad's needs. They were also very helpful with advice and accommodating throughout.


My mum, my brother and I felt very confident that our dad was in the best possible care available from a home care service provider. Highly recommend.

My husband has severe health problems, which require palliative care so that he can end his life in dignity at home.
Two previous care agencies were very unsatisfactory.
Home Instead has been wonderful, from the initial meeting with the manager to the carers themselves, who all grasp the complexity
and sensitivity of our situation.
They support me, as well as my husband and adapt to the rapidly changing situation.
I would recommend Home Instead without hesitation.

Since first making contact with an enquiry for my elderly mum, we have had nothing but excellent service from everyone we have come into contact with, from the care manager, office staff and of course the carers themselves. Unfortunately, my mother's situation deteriorated rapidly after a couple of
falls when she was on her own at night. As a result, while she was in hospital we agreed a revised care package for daily morning and evening care, which has proven to be a godsend. My mother was initially somewhat sceptical about the amount of care she needed but now realises how important her twice daily care is. She has also developed a wonderful rapport with her main carer and looks forward to her visits! Home Instead have taken away a huge amount of stress from myself and my wife and we cannot thank you enough!

My husband has 2 different carers for an hour each day to help him shower and dress. One during the week and one at weekends. One is male and one female, which is a good balance. Both are caring, patient and respectful of him. They encourage him to do things for himself when possible and praise his
achievements.They take a personal interest in him and often chat about his interests which is valuable stimulation after a stroke i.e photos, holidays, family, music etc.
I feel they have been chosen to match my husband's character and interests, which is very important. They never seem to be clock watching and their continuity is valuable. They seem to me to take a personal interest, rather than just regarding it as a job.

We are really pleased with the support Home Instead have provided for my Mum. We actually have peace of mind. My Mum gets on very well with her caregivers who are so kind, patient and caring. They go above and beyond and do little things that mean when I go there I can spend quality time with my Mum.

My carer for the last three weeks was always punctual coming and going. A very good cook with a main meal on the table punctual at 6 pm daily. Was always very hygienic and always very willing to help in odd ways whilst awaiting meals to cook. Very much appreciate her all-around attention.

It was difficult for my aunt to accept that she needed carers - after much research I approached Home Instead, detailing her complex needs.
After a home visit, they were confident they could support her. The caregivers were fantastic, so patient and kind, supporting both my aunt and myself.
Behavioural
changes were picked up straight away and I was notified - giving me the opportunity to get medical advice - following this I took her immediately to A&E where infections were diagnosed and a hospital stay (one of her caregivers even visited her in hospital).
Had these amazing ladies not been so professional and caring the situation could have been so much worse - my aunt and I are so very grateful to them.
Unfortunately, my aunt's progression with dementia now means that she can no longer live independently even with this excellent support.
I can not recommend Home Instead Senior Care (Wembley) enough - real people that really care - heartfelt thanks to L, J and all of the caregivers.

We reviewed several agencies before choosing Home Instead, they came across as knowing what is required to offer the care my mother required, without hesitation we would recommend their services (and carers) to anyone who requires peace of mind, we only stopped using Home Instead due to my mother going
into a nursing Home where she would receive 24 x 7 attention which is required as her balance now requires full support to stop her falling and hurting herself.
My Mother found all of the Home Instead carers delightful to talk to they showed total respect for her well being.

I have been very happy with the service provided by Home Instead Senior Care. I was very impressed by the sympathetic manner. The care was initially set up and the prompt manner it was adjusted as my 92-year-old mother's needs changed. The staff have been very kind, efficient and punctual, always having

I cannot recommend Home Instead enough. Thanks to Home Instead, we have home care in place for my mum who lives 100 miles away! We had seen another carer who quoted a price and gave us some visit times then sent through a contract with different times and higher prices! Home Instead have been amazing
and my mum is now looking forward to going home after 3 months in hospital and a month in a care home.

A very good friend of mine recently had an issue, her mum had a nasty fall resulting in hospital care. My friend was beside herself as she lives in Manchester and couldn't take any more time off to look after her mum.
The director came to the rescue with her fabulous team from Home Instead Senior
Care Wembley. My friend and her mum have both said that 'Home Instead' have been a god send.
Home Instead offer a wide range of services from companionship, home help and personal care. If you know anyone that could do with extra help at home contact the director and her team.

I was commissioned by the PoA of the service user to source good quality domiciliary care for a very elderly gentleman living with dementia where relationships within the family were extremely difficult. The General Manager and Care Manager at Home Instead Wembley responded immediately to an urgent
need for care for two days per week. They took the time to understand my client's needs and provided a comprehensive, person-centered care plan. It was a revelation to the wider family to see my client's carer actively supporting and facilitating him to do everyday tasks such as preparing meals and engaging in conversation which he had enjoyed so much in the past, rather than excluding him which his previous carer had done. The carer was well trained in providing dementia friendly care but was perhaps a little inexperienced to deal well with the family dynamics. However, the management of the carer and of the service was excellent, responsive and professional.

Without the support of the Home Instead team, I would not be able to keep my dad in the stable and comfortable state he is in.
Home Instead team of management and carers go that extra mile to accommodate any extra care that we need. Nothing ever is too much for them. They not only care for my dad but

My father is extremely independent and has few friends, none of whom are within the local area. I initially needed someone to drop by on a daily basis while I was away on business, but my father was not keen on someone coming in to see him. Although I and others kept in daily touch with him by phone,
it was important that someone could see him in person in order to ensure that he was not in any difficulties and had not fallen and was hiding his injuries. Home Instead were swift to make all of the necessary arrangements, making checks and enquiries into his living conditions, personal abilities, the family history and his personal likes and dislikes. The Home Instead companion built up a good rapport with dad, and a second companion was introduced prior to another trip, visiting dad daily. This has been very successful, and my father looked forward to the visits. I also had peace of mind, knowing he was safe.
Weekly visits are now in place, and I can highly recommend Home Instead.

Using this agency to help with the care of my mother in the capacity of transport to and from the hospital and other appointments, shopping and other related activities have relieved the great pressure on me, enabling me to arrange my days accordingly.


Without the use of Home Instead, I would certainly

have had to give up my own work and probably my mother would not be able to live independently. I am so grateful for their help and would have no hesitation in recommending the brilliant staff, who never let me down. Well done to all.
