Home Instead have proved caring, flexible and tremendously supportive of my lovely mum, who sadly has dementia, in the 3 months we have been using their services. Mum was very reluctant to accept care but the fantastic carer quickly built a good relationship with mum and won her over. Mum frequently now says she cant imagine managing without her! Home Instead have also been brilliant in adapting to various unexpected practical problems that have arisen. Their presence in mum's life takes a huge weight off my mind as I live several hours drive away. Mum wants to remain living in her own home for as long as she possibly can and Home Instead are enabling her to do this by providing assistance with personal care and domestic tasks, taking her shopping, and providing invaluable companionship.

My husband and I have been very pleased with the care service provided by Home Instead. The management responded rapidly to our initial enquiry and then carried out a thorough consultation with us to identify my husband's care needs and draw up an appropriate care plan for him. A member of the management team has always accompanied carers on their first visit and they have been extremely helpful in dealing with a couple of emergency requests.

The carers are always very professional and respectful and display a caring and friendly demeanour. They are always scrupulous about punctuality and record keeping.

It is fair to say that all of our family has gained peace of mind from the level of care provided for my husband on a daily basis.

As a local GP, I have no hesitation in recommending them to my own patients. Bhavin listened to what was important to us as a family and was easily accessible to deal with any issues.

Nothing was too much trouble from the moment we enquired about the service. I can honestly say that they have gone beyond what I would have expected and this has made life even easier for us as a family. Thank you.

From the start, the Director was eager to ensure my son's needs and best interests were being met consistently and provided extra knowledge from his Pharmaceutical background, recommending specific advice regarding my son's joints. He made me feel at ease and comfortable from day one and he is very family orientated. The Director and his team matched the carer to my son's needs which were invaluable and ensured my son felt comfortable in his surroundings. I would highly recommend Home Instead Croydon, they are a professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
