I returned home from hospital with nothing to look forward to but bed, hoist and wheelchair.
However, after four months of care, nursing and physiotherapy, I was able to stand and walk.
I am very grateful for all the help and encouragement of my team of carers, nurses and physios, that I am able to
lead a fairly normal life.
