My brother required companionship and support to venues of interest which he would find stimulating and take him out for a nice lunch. Thank you so much to your company and the staff for the companionship service you provide for my brother, we feel it greatly has enriched his life. Long may it continue!

I am very satisfied with the service and I couldn't manage without it. Punctual on every visit, always with a smile on their faces. No task is too much trouble and a little banter passes between us on each occasion.

Since employing Right at Home, it has taken a load off my mind. I find the carers are kind and respectful . They have manged to get my wife out of bed most mornings to have a shower and her teeth cleaned although my wife does not remember who they are. Whilst they are helping my wife, I have them in
the bedroom or in the shower room having a good old sing along together. It is nice to know that she is enjoying their company. My final words are KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

The lady from Right at Home helps my mum to look after my gran brilliantly. She is very good support to my mum who is gran's full-time carer. Also, my gran is treated with dignity and care by her and the care manager. They are a great team and gran, although has dementia etc seems to enjoy their visits!
It's helping mum keep gran at home.

My mother-in-law has many health problems and dementia. My wife is her 24-hour carer. She is supported so well by Right at Home. Staff are pleasant, helpful and supportive. The carer although a very busy person is also always happy to answer any queries or help with any changes we may have to make.
All round good treatment - most of all they give excellent care to my mother-in-law.

An excellent choice on my part to ask for your service. I find all your carers very pleasant and obliging. They are always prepared to do any tasks asked of them and never leave until they have asked if there is anything else needs their attention.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 17 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.951 for Right at Home (South Cheshire) is calculated as follows: ( (98 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 102 Ratings = 4.951
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Right at Home (South Cheshire) is based on 17 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4.925
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Owner Joined: 2016

It has been a life long passion of mine to run my own home care business. I’ve worked in the home care sector for almost 15 years, including time spent as a CareGiver working my way up to being a Registered Manager and latterly as a part of the Senior Management team with a market leading national home care provider.

I have a Level 4 NVQ Registered Managers Award and am an active Dementia Champion in Crewe and Nantwich, delivering free information sessions to organisations and business' to help create a dementia friendly community.

My real motivation comes from my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2014 following after living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease for nearly 10 years. I grew up in Kendal, in the Lake District living next door to my Nan and Grandad and enjoyed many great years working for my Grandad in his family run paint and wallpaper shop. As my Grandad’s Dementia progressed, he, of course, needed support and care as he started to struggle with his normal daily routine, and unfortunately, although much of his care was excellent, this wasn’t always the case. I use this as my constant guide to the quality of care we provide our Clients – “Would it have been good enough for my Grandad?” The answer must always be yes.
