I have been impressed at the care and courtesy extended to my mum and to the whole family. The main carer for my mum sends us a mail every week since we’ve been unable to travel to see my mum and she sends photos and a letter from my mum. My mum enjoys the help, conversations and the encouragement to exercise and to try different ways to entertain herself. The carers ensure Mum is fed, her shopping done and check things that may be upsetting to Mum. They make sure Mum’s day to day well being is supported and contact us if they have any concerns. Essentially, they have become our eyes and ears during this lockdown. Right at Home increased the visits as requested very quickly once it was clear Mum was going to need more help during this period. We could not do without Right at Home.
Thank you so much for your review and kind words, and thank you for choosing RaH.
I found all the staff to be courteous, professional and friendly. My father, who was initially resistant to having carers, was completely "won over" by them. I had no hesitation in entrusting him to their care. They also provided me with good guidance and advice as his disease progressed and his condition deteriorated. I will always be grateful, particularly to those staff who were his carers.
The company, management and all the staff and carers are excellent in every way. Standards are the best I have known and I would highly recommend Right at Home to all who need care in their own home.
We have worked with Right at Home for 3 years, and over the last year, with the help of medication and considerable input from Right at Home, we have found a number of really good carers that she now accepts as friends.
We recently increased the hours from 4 hours a week to over 30 hours, due to my illness and Right at Home were able to fill these requirements quickly and we are now having a number of different carers who take great care with my wife.
The one thing they all seem to have in common is the training and the wish to treat my wife with dignity, but also to become her companions.
Having had a few weeks with the increased hours Monday to Friday it was noticeable that on a Saturday and Sunday without the carers that she was missing their company. This to me is proof that they have formed a very good relationship with her.
The visits from her carers have changed her life. The morning hour helps her make certain her hearing aids are in, medicines taken and that she knows what is happening that day.
The carers are lovely, they check she has milk and treats and take her to get them if she wants. They have helped her join the library and change books etc.
My aunt says she now feels safe and isn’t anxious about day to day things any more.
I feel confident that if I can’t pop in my Aunt will be fine! All the carers are kind and proactive. My aunt is very proud and she has been able to maintain a great deal of her independence - I can’t thank Right at Home enough.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We will ensure these are passed on to the CareGivers supporting your aunt.
From the very first time I contacted Right at Home, I felt comfortable and happy with their attitude and approach. Very professional, but with a warmth which is a must when dealing with care. Well done to the team.
Thank you very much for you kind review.
I have had 'Right at Home' helping my Mum for the last 10 months. I am very pleased with the service. All the Carers are kind and efficient, and my Mum gets on very well with them, and always enjoys their visits. It is good that the visit is a minimum of one hour, as she especially enjoys the chats she has with them and finds the visits relaxing.
The carers have always been on time and I have never had a problem of missed appointments. They have been helpful, and are proactive and able to sort minor problems in the house when needed.
The carers help Mum to get up in the morning and to go to bed at night and it is a relief to know that she has someone responsible at these times to check on her.
Thank you very much for this kind review. It's always great to hear positive feedback from the family of our clients and we will be sure to share this with the CareGivers that support your Mum.
My mother feels safe and well looked after - looks forward to carer's visits.
A professional, reliable friendly service. I would highly recommend. The support is tailored to your needs.
She was able to stay in her own home with total reassurance she was going to be well looked after. I would highly recommend them.
Introducing the carer, first of all, happened once a week and on a companionship basis which has been very successful. She is inventive and seems to be able to engage Mum in different and inventive ways. Mum looks forward to her visit already and her carer has also been most co-operative when asked to switch visiting days to suit. I have yet to meet her but have every faith in her value.
Thank you very much for these lovely comments, we aim to please and go the extra mile for all our clients. I hope we can continue to impress you and raise ourselves from "Good" to "Excellent" in every area. If there is anything we can do to improve your satisfaction then please don't hesitate to contact us
Staff at the Nantwich office are very helpful and understanding, always willing to help improve the care my grandmother needs.
All her personal care is met especially when it can be hard with her having dementia. The way the staff are trained to deal with how the carers care for dementia clients is wonderful. So patient and understanding to reassure the client they are safe and happy. With dementia patients they need routine and that’s what Right at Home offers. Overall Right at Home was the right company for us and is always there when we have problems or questions and always will to go the extra mile so all my grandmother's needs are meet with having her stay at home where she’s the happiest.
My mother has been happy with the service received which has enabled her to stay in her own home.
She has enjoyed the company of the caregivers.
We have found the care provided to be of very high standard. Whatever has been asked of the carers has always been carried out. If there is any problem, no matter how small, the carer on duty at the time will make contact and let you know their concerns. My father had a fall whilst I was on holiday and the carer stayed with him until the ambulance arrived, even packed a bag for him. They waited until the ambulance arrived and took my father to the hospital before they left. I have much admiration for the job they do. A big thank you from my brother and myself for looking after him so well.
Thank you so much for your kind words which we will be sharing with your father's CareGivers. It’s great to hear that you, your family, and your father are happy with the service we provide.
We are both extremely satisfied with the care we receive from Right at Home. My husband has vascular dementia and our Carer is extremely knowledgeable in this field. My husband always looks forward to seeing and going out with her.
My husband suffers greatly from a number of medical problems. To be mobile at all he needs to use crutches but after a recent fall he broke his wrist, therefore, was unable to walk. On being sent home from hospital and told to return the week after we were both in a state of utter panic as to how to manage and who to ask for help. By an absolute stroke of luck, we contacted the owner and his team at a moments notice he sent help to us over a weekend when it seemed like no one else operated at this time.
The owner seems very committed to providing the best care and support possible and genuinely concerned about his clients well being.
Very pleased with the overall service and it was such a lovely touch at Christmas when they provided surprise Christmas presents for all their clients.
Thank you for your lovely comments!
The carers are consistent and there doesn't seem to be a high turnover of staff, which is very helpful as they get to know the client, especially for clients with dementia
Right at Home have been very professional and would recommend them to anyone.
After a small stroke in early 2017, I was two months in Crewe at Leighton Hospital followed by respite in a care home. After returning to live alone in my home, altered to a ground floor flat, I was visited for 16 weeks - first by members of the stroke team, then by the community team mainly by physiotherapists. My daughter arranged my 2 hours a day, 2 days weekly 'caring' with Right at Home and is more than satisfied with the financial aspects - on which I can not comment as I am unaware of them. I am very happy with my pleasant and very helpful carers.
How can anyone put down on paper the wonderful service I am receiving from all your staff. The care is impeccable and the dedication is faultless so far.

Meet the Team (12)
It has been a life long passion of mine to run my own home care business. I’ve worked in the home care sector for almost 15 years, including time spent as a CareGiver working my way up to being a Registered Manager and latterly as a part of the Senior Management team with a market leading national home care provider.
I have a Level 4 NVQ Registered Managers Award and am an active Dementia Champion in Crewe and Nantwich, delivering free information sessions to organisations and business' to help create a dementia friendly community.
My real motivation comes from my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2014 following after living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease for nearly 10 years. I grew up in Kendal, in the Lake District living next door to my Nan and Grandad and enjoyed many great years working for my Grandad in his family run paint and wallpaper shop. As my Grandad’s Dementia progressed, he, of course, needed support and care as he started to struggle with his normal daily routine, and unfortunately, although much of his care was excellent, this wasn’t always the case. I use this as my constant guide to the quality of care we provide our Clients – “Would it have been good enough for my Grandad?” The answer must always be yes.
"I would just like to give you all a little bit of background about me. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Health and Social Care sector. I have worked within adult services for over 23years. I have a passion for caring for people and ensuring the quality and standards of care are being met is so important to me. I am looking forward to my future with RAH South Cheshire and seeing the business grow and develop, but most importantly fostering what sound like an already amazing team and meet the clients. Once you get to know me I am sure you will all come to realise I’m in care because I care".
